Very busy location, staff not friendly, uhaul rates are expensive and misleading. They advertise 24.95 per day! Plus half a dozen hidden charges, it came down to over 70 bucks for 6 hours and 20 miles driven. It’s a fricking scam. Never again.

The truck they brought me has different out millage with what printed on the contract. Later on I also found the dolly I rented online was also not in there. They cost are all adjusted accordingly eventually, but it would be better if I can save these hassle.

The van was in disrepair. The passenger side windshield wiper didn’t work, the driver side wiper was metal on glass, the night driving lights were totally misdirected to the right, and the knobs to adjust the lights popped back into the dashboard and became almost totally inaccessible to the point where it took me 15 minutes just to get the headlamps off when I returned the truck. Even then I couldn’t get the interior light to turn off.

the windshield leaked water during the rain. I showed it to the lot person who checked me in when I returned it. I forgot to tell her that the controls for the defroster/AC did not work at all. The vehicle number was DC 2669K, 15 ft. I made a late reservation and they were very busy. I guess I got one that was at the bottom of the barrel.

The location is very hard to get into without making u-turns. The truck had trash in the cab when we picked it up. The truck’s engine had an occasional mis-fire. Probably needs new spark plugs. The staff were courteous and friendly. My dissatisfaction was not because of the sales person that assisted us. She’s a plus.

I ll probably warn my friends using Uhaul not to use from spots not open on weekends because i spent 20$ travelling from one uhaul to an other. Because the one promised was not open. Also i cudnt pick up my bed cover. So its such a waste. If there is an alternate to uhaul, i would definitely check that.

Truck had broken tail lights I added 2 days to my reservation. Employee had no record of it and had no idea how to update it. Employee charged the incorrect credit card, even after I asked him to make sure it was the AMEX with the right last four digits. I called to get this changed once I realized the error. Employee didnt know how to fix it. Said she would pass my info along to the manager. He never called.
