Do not make double booking, one by computer and one by hand. If computer doesn t work and u don t have access to what trucks are available do not book trucks. Also more attention needs to be made when taking mileage, numbers were different on my truck and on the paper. Truck motor needs to be checked, for it to be in better conditions. Thanks

Send the truck to the location I asked for originally. Yakima personnel were great!!! One way scheduling was abysmal. They gave the truck I had reserved at the Parklawn location away before they ensured that the truck scheduled to come into Takoma had actually been turned in. Instead of walking to pick up my truck, I had to get a ride to a site just under 10 miles away, toward downtown Wash D.C., at rush hour. 30 minutes later I was at Takoma, where they did not know I was coming and when they checked on the truck that scheduling said was for me, the truck had not been turned in. They called the customer and found out they would not be turning it in till pPM. Takoma personnel found me a smaller truck they could spare and gave me that. They were great at finding a useable fix but I had to choose between taking a smaller truck and leaving eight hours late, rescheduling my packers, at both ends, storage contract, and transportation at the other end. (15 ft, instead of 20 ft.) I will not reschedule anything next time. If you cannot deliver the truck where and when I reserve it I will cancel the contract on the spot, You are not my only option. If you won't do what we agree on when I sign the contract. I will cancel

We were told that there was a full tank of gas and that we would have to return the rental with a full tank. upon inspection the gas was at less than 3/4 of a tank. I had to go back in and request that the fuel line be changed to where it actually was. I felt cheated and disrespected. If I had not double checked the needle in the gas gauge not to mention all the scratches and damage on the rental, then I would have been liable.

Well located location. I've been here a couple times before but this one was the last one. Please Alan, at least try not to make racist comments about Latin American people while one is next to you. I did return the truck in good condition, I did clean the cargo area,was check by an employee and a receipt was given. I was leaving when I hear an employee saying "Sir,excuse me, sir excuse me" I turn around and I recognize this employee from before and he said "you know you have the clean it right? I said "yes and I did it" He wanted as before extort me out 10 dollars as he always does to people saying he will weave the 25 dollars cleaning fee. Uhaul please change personal

The trailer was not maintained at all. The fender was only hold on by rubber bend. Brakes feels nothing. Only one of the side marker/clearance lights works. The fender broke on my during the trip.

Self checkout does not work at all. Had a 6:30 appointment and the manager on duty was on vacation. The phone number I was given to call as back up didn't pick up. Call center was not helpful. I had to wait until the store open to get a truck. 2.5 hours of my day were wasted and Uhaul made no efforts to accommodate the situation.

The issue I had was with the self check in app. It did not work and the result was that it took a very long time to pick up the truck. The people were good, the truck was good, but the app was terrible.

The wait to get your reservation was way too long. There should be some expedited way to speed up the process for those that had reserved ahead of time.

We waited for 90 minutes to pick up our vehicle this past Sunday morning. Completely unacceptable. We had signed up for the Express Check-in, which made no difference. If the management of the location can't improve customer line wait times substantially we certainly won't be returning to rent another vehicle any time soon.

The vehicle had a message stating that the rear tire pressure pro men. The fire light was on and instead of them fixing the problem. They gave me the truck. When I brought it to there attention they began asking me questions about what is wrong with the truck. I explained that I don't work here and they should know what is going on before they gave it to me. He drove it over for me to pickup so he should have noticed and fixed it. They did put me in another truck. Then they told me that it was the tire sensor that the front tire needed air. It is just my opinion, but they should just take care of the problem before giving it to the customer. This is the second time I have rented a truck here and the same thing happened.

The attendant was extremely slow and left us at the counter multiple times despite our indicating that we were in a hurry. When we received the truck the alignment was off so it was quite a task to drive!

I showed up at the Langely Park/Takoma Park location on Friday in the afternoon between 5 and 6 PM to rent a truck. I was immediately told that I needed a reservation because all trucks were reserved, which is fine. I understood that; I just came to the location to see if it was possible to rent a truck on the spot. But the service representative behind the counter made it a point to tell me that since it is the end of the month all trucks were reserved. To which I said "OK..." because I also knew it was the end of the month. I asked if I could book the truck online and she said yes, but I couldn't do it for that location, it would have to be for another location. I guess she figured I wanted to try to reserve a truck in that moment. I made myself clear by saying, no, I would reserve a truck for another day. I reserve a truck in the late afternoon on Saturday for Sunday in the morning (LESS THAN 24 hours). I pick the rental truck, input the estimated mileage, select the safety coverage and provide my credit card information. When I get to the location Sunday morning, the same representative asks if I reserved a truck that morning....... I said "No" and that I had reserved it yesterday. Then I'm asked to provide the same exact information I already provided when I reserved the truck online in the first place.... What was the point of telling me all that information when you're going to make me go through the same process I already did online? The whole experience was an annoying drag and the customer service was mediocre at best. My family is local and I wanted to support local business, but I'm not recommending this location.

I waited two and a half hours in line for a truck, despite having a confirmed reservation. There were dozens of unhappy customers. I had reserved a dolly and hand truck; neither were available. The service people seemed disorganized and indifferent. I have rented from uHaul in other locations and never had a problem. Here they told us they didn't have trucks and were waiting for them to come in. The other customers were also furious and could not believe this was a modern business. Many started calling other rental companies to see if they had trucks available. If I hadn't needed a truck badly, I would have left--as some customers did, after waiting in line for an hour that never moved. The place basically operated like a bus station in a small city in a third world country. Shockingly bad.

Day of my move you cancelled on me.. I had to drive 50 minutes out of the way to get a truck. The movers I scheduled through you had to wait 2 hours for me because of this and it cost me an extra $100. I also didn’t get the trailer I reserved and had to resort to a dolly. I will never use you again and neither will any of the employees I relocate. What a let down!

Make sure there is enough trucks for customers that made reservations well in advance. Make sure your employees are nicer.
