Drop off location was closed and had to call U-HAUL to get location corrected, thus caused at least a 45 minute delay in ending our trip. My next booking will be in person not on line as too much time was wasted at both locations and was frustrating!
VERY WELL HERE TO .STAFF WAS GREAT NO PROBLEMS
When I went in to drop off the keys, the guy said â€œ you Parked it far enough away! Put the keys on the counter. â€œ Very rude. I didn't notice a uhaul sign or truck to park at, so I went through the gate and parked it in an open spot. Now the lady that called me this morning around 8:30am from DC Marine was very friendly. She said she called to confirm it was due back tomorrow at 11:30am and how was everything? I said great and how long are you open to since I plan to bring it back today. She said 5:00pm. If no one is there, just put the keys in the drop box. She had asked me to park it with the other UHaul trucks. When I got there I didn't see any other trucks unfortunately.
The experience was great.
A better web/operating system for ease of use.

I have had a lady named penny when I have booked my uhaul on a few occasions. She has gone over and above service excellent.I will not deal anywhere else

Great experience signing out the truck, and the truck was in very good condition and very clean. This wasn't something I wanted to do during COVID, but DC Marine was on top of everything. I was very comfortable with the extreme care they took to make sure even the pen I used was wiped down before I used it.
Staff on site are useless. In particular the man behind the counter who couldn't care less. The bill was wrong. They claimed they corrected it. They didn't. To be fair it's not just the people that you hire. Your entire rental process is horrible.
The manager of this location does not know how to deal with customers. My 12 year old son dropped the keys in the box the same way he picked them up in the lock box and the manager screamed and swore at my son. I explained it was an accident because he didn't know and is a great kid. This manager continued to yell and I decided to walk towards him but he locked his door. Your truck was great and great value but I will not go to this location ever again. I am sure this will happen.again again with this man. It will be a serious problem with another kind of customer for sure.
It seemed to take a long time to register and get going once we arrived on the lot. It would have been nice if we could have begin most of the check in part at home then go to the location to complete it
I do not appreciate getting a truck in Canada with summer tires that are fit for southern states only. While March may be late in the winter, there is still snow and the tires were NOT up to the weather. The proprietor of the location simply stated "snow tires are not required by law for commercial vehicles". While not required by law, they were definitely required for safety! I got stuck twice, once needing a tow truck and costing $115 CAD. I also do not appreciate getting a truck with only 1/4 tank of gas. Since U-Haul charges for gas below the amount when leaving, this means that the location was just too lazy to fill the truck, and pocketed the extra charge. I was forced to fill the truck before I was even able to leave the vicinity, another delay of 1/2 an hour in my day. All in all, my worst U-Haul experience ever. Maybe my last.

Your app and website our horrible when trying to process a pickup It kept re directing me to a live chat . It's stupid since you have to be on the property, yet the location had ok service.
Poor selection of product, I had to drive 30 mins out of my way due to the location I requested pick up at didn't have the product I needed.
Hard to contact No wifi so hard to pay... machine wouldnt work The owners SUPER nice though and Budget should help them update their systems!!!
There is nothing more Penny from DC Marine could have done to improve upon our experience in renting the truck. Penny was clear with her explanations of what was needed for a successful rental arrangement. DC Marine hit the ball out of the park! I have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so. This is a great business in our community.
Should be a shorther time to take information for renting the truck.

Absolutely horrible. I called 5x about 3 weeks in advanced to make sure that i was to pick my truck up at my preferred destination, and drop it off at my local uhaul. 7:30am rolls around and i get my truck. The girl at the desk googles local uhauls for me in my drop-off area and finds the closest location. She then writes it on my contract and sends me on my way telling me " you can drop these off at any uhaul really" 12 1/2 hours later i finish my 5-stop move and drive to my location to find out its closed. I call the number provided and they straight up tell me "theres nothing we can do about it and you're going to just have to drive 40 minutes to our other location to drop it off. Zero help. Zero understanding. Zero customer service skills. I then ask for a supervisor and she says the same thing. She also says the customer support line opens at 9am. I had to have my truck back by 7am or i would be charged so i tell her this and she says" meh i think they'll work with you i guess. So i force her to change my drop-off time to 10am and have my location changed. I drop it off at 9:30am the next morning and instead of filling the gas up to the 7/8+ mark line, i filled it all the way up cause thats the kind of guy i am. I had filled this the night before, but because i had to drive the truck BACK to my house and THEN to the new drop-off, the lady says to me " oh it looks like its a tad under" and charges me for the difference in gas. Once finished up i called customer service and was irresponsibly tossed around from department to department and hung up on, i finally got someone who in 3 mintues was able to set me up with an email from the GM of scheduling within 1 to 2 days. Still Pending. This has been the worst customer experience i have ever had. I highly advise choosing another service as i have not even been compensated for my troubles. I used to be a mover so i know how to make sure scheduling is appropriately communicated and uhaul just did not care. Never using them again and highly recommend anyone thinking of using them just rents a truck from another company.
