The drop off location I confirmed while making the reservation with the operator on the 1-800 number was also not actually confirmed. I had to drive an extra 35 minutes out of the way, and pay over $60 in tolls. Confirmations with uhaul seem to not be actual confirmations. I would not recommend the use of uhaul as I, and friends, have experienced these same issues. It’s as if we are paying uhaul to take our money and still have to do the work of solving the problems Uhaul has created. A money drain, stressor, and general poor choice of place to do business. I would also like to be compensated for the cost of tolls that I did not need to pay since the drop off location was changed without my knowing. I will not use uhaul again or recommend to others. Even in the form of the questions you pose is untrustworthy. The issues are not with the pick up and drop off locations, the issues are with the system(s) above these sites. Don’t be fooled and don’t lose your money to this mess of a company.

When customers get chatty, try to limit the amount of time being wasted as other customers are waiting to be serviced. Also, your computer system is very slow and needs to be upgraded.

I have to say I have never used U-Haul before and it was an exceptionally pleasant experience. I needed to rent a motorcycle trailer, and U-Haul representative, Jamar Holmes, was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the details around towing process. He explained how to check my vehicle towing rating, fixed electrical hookup wiring, helped out with how to tie a motorcycle down. Next time I need to rent towing equipment, this location will be my go-to choice.

The only issue I had with my rental experience was the intake process. When I arrived at the U-Haul location there was one person at the register attending to a customer after about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting a second employee came out and helped me. This individual was very helpful but the wait before being attended or even acknowledged was way too long. I almost walked out but needed the truck to move out of my apartment that same day. The person who was helping the customer just continued to engage in conversation as myself and another customer had to wait. It would have been less frustrating had he just said something like, "sorry for the wait sir someone will be with you shortly they are finishing up something in the back."
