The engine light was on, and the truck leaked which got our boxes wet (despite only a small amt of rain).

When a rental is booked, don't freak out if the vehicle isnt picked up right away. I was fully aware that I booked for 9am and that the clock was ticking...a call to the rental facility and a call to me were unnecessary. I had some obsticles to overcome before I could come and get it. I booked it at 8 am that morning....picking it up just after 10 am is not the end of the world. I ended up extending my booking by 24 hrs, so in the grand scheme an hour was a small hiccup.

Location was great, they checked us in way easier than the online account. Disappointed more in UHAUL it's self, we tried renting a bigger truck and submitted our rental request 2 weeks (if not more) in advance, and they still could not get a bigger truck to our location we would have had to drive way more miles to get the bigger truck. The Spooner location was great through, and very helpful.

I wish the Canadian U-Haul trucks were maintained just as wonderfully as the US trucks. Considering our situation at the time, we were very happy with our reservation and pick up/drop off. Wonderfully done.

I was surprised that an employee had to supply a personal jack to raise the the trailer to hook up. No way a person could lift the trailer alone. When the ladies are alone without the guys it is a difficult task for them. None of the trailers there had jacks. Shame on the company [ U-Haul] for not providing an easy way to hook up the unit. Wk Appliance was excellent in every way. Make their life easier!

We did not get our packing blankets. I assumed they were in the truck. When we got home, their were no blankets in the truck. I called and they had forgotten to give them to me. They offered to have me come get them, but the location was an hour away and we did not have time to stop packing to make a 2 hour round trip for the blankets. They offered to have us pick up elsewhere, but we were too strapped for time. We tried to have a friend pick up the blankets, but it did not work out. So basically I paid for packing blankets and did not get them.

the person we delt with was in a rush to get home. very rude. told us we owed $29 for gas when we filled it to the same line we picked it up at. she moved the bar up one notch and we owed nothing. $29 for what would be maybe $5 is outrageous. trying to steal our money uhaul..what a joke

Unit was clean but the steering wheel when driving it straight had the steering wheel center member at 45 degree angle which was inline with the MPH dash gage so I could see how fast I was going w/o moving the wheel enough which in turned move the truck . Both outside tires on each side only had 70 psi in the them . Stop at a Frieghtliner to air up as normal gas station air station didn’t have enough psi in then to get tires to 110 psi .
