Difficult to rent from the kiosk. Final bill was wrong. Good thing we took pictures of the mileage cause you were over charging. Tried to charge for 2 day rental also instead of 24 hour rental.
The app was troublesome. Lucky there was a rep, available. She was Awesome.
Luckily an employee was there as the online checkout the night before ended up being a complete cluster. Jamal was a terrible rep, unhelpful and very difficult to work with. Your online process is really horrible. If you have that service, have all the info done before the customer gets to take the vehicle. I spent an extra half hour dealing with Jamal. Finally I gave up and the amazingly professional woman inside had me on my way in five minutes. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to get me going.
The remote check-in was bad. Thank goodness a lady was there the 2nd time I came by. Will not come to this location and will never use a location that is primarily remote check-in. I learned a lesson. Call ahead of time.
WORST possible ever
The app was a nightmare to use. It too longer than seeing a representative, and it was broken for Android users. We couldn't take photos to document damage, fuel level, or odometer. We tried calling customer service but waited for 20 minutes on the line without help. Eventually we drove to another uhaul location for help. The crew at North division in Spokane were really great at helping us. Also, the uhaul was given to us with about 1/8 of a tank of gas which was also frustrating.
Both women who worked with us were very professional, friendly and helpful!
The app is trash, it's just the webpage with a border around it. The website is unresponsive on my phone; I had to click buttons multiple times, back out and try again, and resubmit information multiple times. Because of the website jank, I was not able to return the keys to the lockbox during the return process because the app decided to skip that page, so I had to contact the local office's offsite workers (none on-site because of covid) to return the keys properly. Aside from the app needing to be rebuilt my experience was great; being able to just show up and get into an F150 (first time driving a larger truck) was a great time, all of the processes such as picking up/dropping off would be a breeze if the app was optimized. I would still use the service again regardless of my issues.
45 minute check out online horrible experience poor online pickup service
During our time of COVID-19, I was soooo impressed with the online agents that were able to facilitate my rental. Also, I had a rock chip occur while driving on I-90 and I purchased standard coverage with the extra $5 fee for possible emergent issues, totaling $19, and this covered the repair cost for the rock chip repair. At least I believe it has covered it, as I haven't heard anything further about the damage.
No one was available to help. Very busy and long wait timeso I ended up leaving. My charges are very confusing. When I originally signed up on line the charges were to be $79.00 (+ -) when I turned the truck in no one was available and the office door was locked,even though it was during store hours. I left the truck there. At this time my cell phone was broken and I was unable to access my account etc. I called the 800 # and was given to 3 different people each giving me different information. When I finally reached someone at the store I was told my bill was $194.24 with a $44.43 credit. Quite a difference from the $79.00 I was quoted. As of today 11/13, I have been charged $194.24 with a $44.43 credit and another charge of $ 47.72. This seems extremely disorganized, unfair and very unprofessional. I will certainly question my use of UHaul, or recommending them to others in the future.
The inside of the truck was dirty, the gas light was on, and the store lied to me about the best price options. I was told it would be cheaper to drive the truck back to the city I rented it from vs leaving it in the city I was moving to. After talking to uhaul, I learned the store was just trying to screw me out of more money. I wasted 10 hours of my life driving there and back to return that truck. I now have a dispute open against them.

The key dropbox is too small. The key did not fit well at all. It was a serious struggle to get the key in and I had to remove the keyring. If there is another alternative for dropping the key there should be signage.

I had a great experience! Got my truck on time, the rep was friendly and knowledgeable ! My kinda place!
Before the app told me where to put the key, it asked me to rate the app, then closed the rental. I had no idea where to leave the key. The drop box opening was too small to fit the key fob. I waited in the cold outside on hold with uhaul for 20 minutes, I finally hung up. I specifically choose this location and return time of 7 pm because the location, closes at 7pm (according to the uhaul website). But the office was closed and had a sign that said it closed at 5pm. It also had a sign in the window saying they did not accept cash, which I'd like to mention is against the law. Cash is legal tender and must be accepted. I will never use this location again.
Check the tires!!! Once the truck was loaded it was evident the tire was leaking air, it had been slashed. It took uhaul over 2 hrs to have the tire replaced, then they told us to go to les schwab and have the lug nuts tightened as they didn't have the tool. We went into overtime with our movers and had to reschedule the movers on the other end of our move.
After I booked the reservation I was sent a link for moving help. I booked moving help and got confirmations and pay codes. When moving day came the help did not show up. Uhaul found me a random cell phone tied to the business and when I called he said they have been out of business for over a year. The listings need to be updated regularly because this was unacceptable though not the fault of the location we went to.
I drove that truck 12 miles and put 2 gallons of gas in it before I took it back. Then I was charged for 4 gallons. There's no way I used 6 gallons to drive 12 miles. Not even jet planes use that much fuel. This moving process is expensive enough without being nickel and dimed by a company we are supposed to be able to trust.
Review of the instrument panel. I was unable to adjust the side mirrors.
