The gentleman was very helpful and informative.
Keep someone around that you can communicate with on the phone or in person .yes even on Sunday or after hours . Or take what you get . And make sure the drop off location has the right address .

They lied to me about the after hours fee ... Told me if I used the site on my phone to return it I wouldn't get charged the 20 dollars ... So yes very disappointed....

Only thing I think is you need Jack stand for u haul trailer.It was hard for my husband to unhook.
The truck was great....the location left something to be desired. The web site and even the door in the shop showed they opened at 9am. I had movers waiting at a nearby storage unit at 9:3o, as the truck was to be picked up then. After driving from Florida to Tennessee, I was unfamiliar with the U-Haul pickup location. Arriving at 9:20 for a scheduled 9:30 pick up, it was frustrating to find the shop closed, despite signs showing it opened at 9. I waited 45 minutes and ultimately called General uhaul number to please advise. They were helpful and got me good info fast. The shop opened by ten, but I really would've appreciated a phone call letters know they would be late opening. I could've worked with the facts. Moving is stressful enough without all the extra unknowns. I appreciate U-Haul being responsive though.... Guess it was just one of those â€œstuff happensâ€ moments!
Took forever to even get hooked to the trailer and I then did a light check and one wasnt working. Instead of quickly fixing the bulb he recommended to get another trailer and I was not gonna stick around for that

The guys in the office didn't know anything and wasn't helpful. The main guy wasn't in the office.
They had to change the light pigtail as it was frayed out and there wasn't another motorcycle trailer there. Had to wait while they changed it but the manager/owner was great in taking care of it.
We were at our apointed time to pick up our truck, but no one there to meet us but they arrived about 45 min. late.
No issues here. They said where to park it, they used their phone and said, â€œyou are good to goâ€.
Charged us for 5 miles extra mileage and we had bought quart of oil and added, even though we returned it with more gas than on pickup. Drop off was fine. Penske forever after this.

Please provide better training for staff regarding the size of truck needed for the move. In my case, the moving help I hired from this location did not show up for work the day of my move. The guys who helped were awesome. It was raining and the second trip was after dark, but they managed the job anyway. However, two things would have made the move much less stressful. If I had been advised to rent a larger truck, we wouldn't have had to make two trips. That was a management issue. Also, 4 wheel drive should be installed in some trucks at least, for moves in rural locations, like mine. Finally, basic training regarding efficient loading of trucks should be provided for all moving help.
Late for appointment, "traffic" small town traffic. Ridiculous excuse. The employees who got there before the UHaul "certified" employee/boss/owner of business was extremely rude, didn't greet my husband, didn't say anything sbout anyone being late. They supposedly had an employee who was suppose to be there at 9am to open the store, but they didn't, so the complaints were made to my husband. Our appointment was at 10am. The owner didn't even greet. Strange. I had called and spoke to a representative and they called the UHaul dealer and informed us they were running late. That was obvious. Also, our packing boxes that we purchased were not at the reservation site, they were at the 1st reservation site,.so we had to travel to the next county and city over to get them. Very unorganized all the way around.
