The employee Thomas Voigt was exceptional, he went above and beyond to make our rental successful, in addition to helping give us advice in reinstalling a new socket since our old electrical was completed corroded. Without Thomas we couldn't of gotten some super important business done. THANKS

Give the staff some help. They work their butts off trying to serve your customers. But why they stay is beyond us. Your (u-Haul corporate) reputation is in shreds because of the way you over work your staff. It is almost unbelievable to watch those poor guys try to take care of the massive demands on them. Seriously! Quit squeezing that turnip. Hire more staff!

The order was all fouled up at first down to the 11 th hour. Very distressing but it was of no fault of the people st the location it was from the customer service side. All was fixed and handled by wonderful people. Russel at SLT location is the best. Everyone there knows their stuff. I have full confidence with the employees but Ricky at customer service needs training. Thank God Honree from traffic dept helped me

They didn't do a walk through on the truck with me prior and I didn't realize I only received 5 packs of moving blankets instead of 6 that I ordered, so at the end of my move I had to pay for 6 blankets (1 pack) which I was not happy about!

The truck had to be jumped 2x and we called to complain and they asked if we needed assistance and and said no because they said it would be 2-3 hours. So I had a neighbor help me jump the battery.

I would like to make a complaint because I had a terrible experience. I had reserved a van in Reno and the day before picking it up they told me that there were no cars and that I had to go all the way to Lake Tahoe to get the car. They said they would reimburse us the travel which ended up being close to 300$ as it's a 1.5 hr drive! But when it came to settling the bill nothing was mentioned nor deducted! I would appreciate if you could help with this as the people whe spoke to were not useful or not available. As per a recommendation, don't take reservations you can't deliver on or at least give more notice. Thank you.

The employee who received my return was EXTREMELY rude. I had never been to this location before. Apparently it has a one-way traffic flow in the parking lot. I did not know this nor were there any signs indicating the one way traffic flow. When I pulled in facing the wrong direction the U-Haul employee proceeded to yell at me about how I just screwed everything up for him. I thought he was just an angry customer who got mad because I partially blocked his truck. It turned out this raving lunatic was actually an employee who was yelling at a customer (me). After I got my trailer returned and filled out my paperwork, I said something to him about how rude he was. I said you shouldn't yell at customers for making a mistake, I've never been here before. He told me he didn't yell at all and that they've been here for 30 years and everybody knows not to pull in from the back. He pretty much said he didn't do anything wrong and totally dismissed me. I believe his name was Russell Cooper. He should be fired.

First, when we got there we explained our situation. We made a round trip instead of a one way trip. The gentlemen went on about how we are to have to pay a ton of money. Then it came out to only being a $60.00 difference.

I tried to return my trailer I'm Oakland at the MacArthur location. I called and was told to bring it in and then he turned me away saying he did not have room. He sent me to the San Pablo location and he was to busy to even acknowledge that I was waiting while ge was on the phone. It also appeared that he had only trucks. I then went to the San Leandro location and was well received and treated well. The pick up also went smoothly.
