The employees at this location failed to give us important information on the truck. We paid in cash up front for the amount of miles & for the rental, and we were told (by two different employees) that we could drop the truck off at a location near our new house. We went to drop the truck off at our closest location and were told that we had to bring the van back, two hours away from where we now live. The uhaul workers in our closer location tried calling the old location, and even these employees stated that the Somerville workers were very disrespectful. After driving two hours back to Boston, the employees in the store were very rude and instead of being reasonable, the manager told us that they will be billing us a “shit ton” (that’s word by word what he said. He used the phrase shit ton to customers.) I’m not satisfied at all & will be calling the corporate office. They were very rude and on top of that, they billed me an extra $113 for the miles we had to drive back (which doesn’t make any sense because we were told that we wouldn’t have to go back to the old location.) I will not be moving through Uhaul again.

Employees could not find the truck that was reserved and assigned for me. The lot employee took forever to find a replacement. The dolly and quilts I ordered were left outside the truck and I had to load them onto the truck myself. A lot of time wasted wating during this entire process. What is the point of making an on-line reservation if the equipment I reserved is not ready?

I was charged $59 extra after establishing a fixed price for my client to reimburse in advance. I ended up eating that expense. We had complications returning the vehicle, and no one contacted me after we had requested a call back to discuss this on the check-in form. I would still like to have a conversation. I'm not sure it's the best plan to have people sit in their car when they return. After 10 minutes I found that the person inside did not know I was there. If nothing else, install a buzzer or something...just felt like a little bit of a waste of time.

Great products, nice staff but very very slow with only one staff member to service customers. I waited for 30 minutes to be waited on at 1:00 pm on a Friday. Almost left to try another location but had already been in line so long so decided to wait.

The costumer service was great and the staffs were very nice, and the vehicle was cleaned but it was kind of hard to steer and that made me a bit nervous. When you turn the steering wheel the front tires don't go exactly in the direction the steering wheel was turned.
