Was made out to feel like I was going to get cops on me or go to jail. 1st of all I originally called and scheduled truck for Saturday but things changed I needed it Friday. I called in twice to confirm that there would be a truck Friday and I would return Saturday EVENING. They informed me of the $40 extra fee for another night and also I wanted the $40 insurance. I said add to my bill. I wanted both. Before I picked up I noticed my new debit card was packed away and I wasn’t sure what box. I told the clerk and asked if I paid with cash do I get my deposit back right away. He said yes he would guarantee it. Otherwise when my son got in town we would use his card. I just needed the truck ASAP. The clerk said if you want to get truck right away then pay cash and u will get deposit back tomorrow. I agreed. Saturday morning around 9:30. I get a call from a uhaul clerk and he said I was supposed to have had truck by 9. I said no I rented it for extra day. We went back at forth and finally he said have it back by 6pm tonight. I said no problem except I left my paperwork in car. Will that be a problem? He said “No I am looking at your paperwork now on computer. I said great see you at 6! Now this is the bad part. I arrived about 5:45, guy checks the truck, mileage and for damage. We was good except for 6 miles over. No problem. We go in he said let me get your receipt and your deposit. I sit there for 15 mins. He finally says something isn’t right. It is showing truck already checked in. I said no I just got here and am returning it now. He said well i don’t know how to fix this. He calls his boss. He didn’t answer so he then calls someone on phone. Explains the situation to the lady and she couldn’t find anything either. This went on for about 10 mins. Finally they found me in the system and the lady told him it was a hundred dollar deposit and asked if he had the money to pay me. He says yes and hands me $100. (That was what I paid) Then all of a sudden this lady turns super rude and is yelling on loud speaker I can not take the money. I said why? It was promised to me and it is mine. I brought truck back, put gas in etc like I was told to do. Plus u verified $100 deposit. Next thing i know the lady is yelling saying I couldn’t have the money now. She repeatedly told me and the uhaul worker that I could not leave! Yelling this on the speaker phone. I was going to leave but she made me feel like She was calling cops. Made me feel like I was stealing and I was lying about the deposit. I finally tried to call store where I got the truck but there were closed. So I got the GM’s number. As I was explaining all this to him and trying to talk to him, the lady and guy found my receipt!! Imagine that!! Now all of a sudden I could have my $100 even tho they said i owed $80 out of the deposit for different things. I told them what I was quoted when I called the 2/4 times trying to reserve the damn thing. Anyways Sioux City, Iowa uhaul are not nice people or the

We were not told that there was a lock for the uhaul, we found out ourselves. There was not much direction as far as driving. Seemed to be rushed when we were there.

Today I was freakn out, Im moving out of town in a couple dayz, had a friend with a truck back out, I called every where for help, nutn, im like, ok, gotta do it ur self, called a few places for rental, too spendy for a half day move, I than called u haul, bam, perfect, rented a cargo van, at UHaul where the old Kmart was out there on Gordon, guy there, who was workn, super nice guy, had a smile on his face, all times, my move worked out perfect, even tho i had to do it my self, yes im really sore today, Yes, i all ready referred to a few peeps that r moving, to get u haul on Gordon, old Kmart....

Trailer was clean, but two tires needed air. We were greatly surprised that this facility didn't have an air compressor, so we could fill the tires prior to leaving with it. Had to stop elsewhere to inflate to proper pressure. Think it would beneficial to your company to have proper equipment and ensure tires are properly inflated, so the tires will last that much longer.

You are already working on it. The entrance was hard to find. There was a small sign indicating which door to use but it was rather small and the improvement work on the outside made it hard to see. But this was only a minor inconvenience.

Pickup of the unit was great, quick and easy but I am setup for towing and understand the process from before. Return was easy, I was running tight on time to return so I called ahead. The employee was very understanding even offered to stay a little to receive the trailer. I had it back in time just before they were to close. It was nice they offered to stay 15 minutes for me.

I really didn't know how much gas to put in the truck. It was at 11/16. Maybe have a full tank to start with and have the customer fill the tank up when they are done.

Over all good but had a dispute over gas upon returning truck. Truck supposed to have full gas tank when we picked up. We only drove less than 20 miles but had to put almost 20$ in gas.That seems a bit excessive. Tank could not have been full when we picked it up. Checking gas gage in truck maybe!

reservation was screwed up by this facility, employee refused to fix it, then told customer to get over it because he wasn't required to rent to her. eventually fixed the problem but made pick-up take more than 2 hrs, well after sched pick-up time
