This was not the location we wanted for pick up of the vehicle. We were notified quite late that pick up was from a different location which was far less convenient. In the end, though, the pick up proceeded smoothly.

This location has consistently terrible customer service, and has worsened noticeably in the past few years. The only marginally better interaction I had was with the general manager. Please train your employees, or get new ones!

The staff was friendly and helpful but even 4 working we waited 15 minutes in line with a reservation. The cargo area of the truck had a pool of water in it which we did not find until we started loading.

Customer service could be improved a bit. For example, doing the vehicle inspection walk-around with the customer versus having the customer go do it seems like a basic thing. However, that did not happen the 2 times I have used this location. Clarifying or going through and explaining the contract would also be helpful. I was unaware of the mileage charge.

standing in line at uhaul is one of the most frustrating experiences on a stressful moving day, so i opted to use the online check-in feature. after going through the entire online process, the key was not in the assigned lock box and i had to wait for a customer service person to retrieve my key from behind the counter. every moment is precious when on a time restraint and this was a let down in the new system that i was excited to try out.

The U-Haul rep who "helped" me with the process of renting a truck is a sad individual and rude. He was telling me how much he hates living in Seattle all while watching videos on his phone. He could barely look away from his phone to look at me. He did the absolute minimum he could to get me on my way. He never got up from his slouched seated position to assist with marking damage nor pointing out which vehicle was going to be mine.

The gas gauge was on empty when I picked up the truck. It is very inconvenient to take time to fuel a vehicle directly off the lot. The staff did not have a satisfactory answer. Why can’t U-Haul hire staff to fuel the vehicles at night at a local fuel station when they’re sitting on the lot? Also, having to fuel the vehicle at the start of the rental leads to over fueling since the renter has to guess how much fuel to get. From the perspective of customer service this aspect of the customer experience leaves a lot to be desired. Finally, I elected to use the mobile app to check out the truck in order to avoid the line at the counter, as recommended by U-Haul, however, the vehicle was parked behind another vehicle which required a staff person to retrieve it. The delay, in addition to having to fuel the vehicle at the start of the rental cut into the time I had reserved at the apartment building loading zones at the moving out and moving in locations. A little planning the evening before or before the office opens in the morning to make sure vehicles are fueled and unblocked would be of great assistance to the customer.

Customer service was terrible. Employees were bickering with each other at the counter. The man who checked us out cursed multiple times about his coworkers to me and my wife, including multiple "f-bombs." Our reserved truck was not available at the time we requested. We ended up taking a smaller truck. The entire transaction, from arriving on time and waiting in line to checking out the truck and leaving, took just over an hour. Absolutely unacceptable. It appeared as if there were zero processes, zero clarity on employee duties and responsibilities, and zero preparation. The truck itself had a dirty cab with sticky residue in the cupholders and napkins/food debris on the floor. The cargo area had not been swept. I would not recommend this location or U-Haul in general if this is representative of how the company operates.

Called into U-Haul about two hours before I needed the truck. When I arrived, there was only one employee around. Took about 5 minutes before I got help. The employee that helped was courteous and efficient, but failed to give me all the paperwork. I got it from another employee. The truck was in clean condition. A bit of a challenge getting out of the parking lot. Had to back up probably 30 feet between parked cars. Luckily it had a rear view camera. Upon return, the process was quick and efficient

I originally made our reservation for 10am at a location 5 minutes form our house since we needed to pack up the U-Haul and hit the road before 1pm. The night before we were going to pick it up, I got a text saying the truck would be ready at 3pm at a location 5 miles away. I had to scramble and find a truck earlier, which I picked from one of the options shown to me. The next morning, I went to the location at 10am, my scheduled pick up time, and the woman said she didn't have a truck for me. She sent me to the U-Haul down the road where I had to wait in line for TWO HOURS to pick up the truck. Horrible experience with this location!!!!

I usually give this an excellent rating, but after checking in I spent 15 minutes looking for my vehicle. The person I rented from kind of muttered my van was on the “first line”. I assumed this wOuid be in the line of cars out the front door. I looked there and all over the parking lot. Two people working for Uhaul looked also. Finally a third Uhaul person found the van and when he brought it around said it was on the “first line” which means it is on the opposite side of parking lot next to the far street not visible from where we were. Why would your employee use such language to describe the location of the van and be so unhelpful to to help me find van. Lingo that I don’t know and then immediately go for break and I can’t get help to find van?!?! I am so tired of this help at this location. When the location was managed by Lisa after Lynda went on break it was managed so well by Lisa- I miss her. Is she gone now?

I could used later a truck with less blankets and less dollies and with the right amount of fuel marked not almost empty and get charge for The last costumer who used it and did not fill it back with gasoline. I mean clean truck so you could know what is in it.Thank you.

Not enough staff working on a Sunday. I arrived and had to wait an hour to get the vehicle that I had reserved. There was only one person managing the desk at the time. There was a conflict with a customer that took up all of their time leaving everyone to wait. This is completely unacceptable. When it was my turn staff was pleasant and moved me through quickly but the wait was a beast.

It was the worst experience in any business, ever. I waited an hour to both pick up and drop off. Employees were swearing at each other and customers. There were two employees who didn't seem to be doing anything. They just walked around not holding anything, taking anything, or saying anything. They just milled around the area that the customers were in for 30 minutes before going into the break room. The only way it could've been worse is if I would've had to wait another 30 minutes in that hell hole or the building caught on fire. I honestly think I would've preferred the fire.
