Awful experience, my reservation was changed to 20 miles away without a notification. I ended up paying for 40 extra miles. And started the move 1.5 later than planned which cost me as movers already arrived and I had to pay for extra time. Never again will I use uhal.Denis G.

Oh my, there is so much wrong with doing business with uhaul, it's a love hate. One day it's great, the next, the guy behind the counter couldn't give a - Yup, my truck was filthy this morning, and threats if I didn't bring it back clean, the zip tie on the hand truck had been cut so id have to pay for the rental of something that I didn't request. Only way that you can't change me for it is that I had to discover it. There's a word for it, sorry, I know that you must have a lot of bad customers and probably some that never bring back the rig, but don't take it out on the rest of usGalen H.

I will NEVER return to this location. The first person I dealt with, who appeared to be in charge in the morning was a rude, patronizing jackass. First, there wasn't any clear indication where to park my personal vehicle. The stalls I saw with regular cars were full and I found another stall with no cones and so I parked. I get this jackass saying I can't park there. I ignored him because I had a truck to pickup. He comes back inside and gets a serious attitude with me and I respond in kind. I look right at him and ask him where the hell should I park. He points to occupied stalls and then tells me I can park on the damn street and since its Rainier Ave, there isn't any street parking. This is one of those seriously WTF moments. Luckily, shortly after that a parking stall opened up and my friend moved my car. That said, my car was in a stall where it wasn't blocking anyone. But that was that idiot's excuse. I would be blocking their trucks. Well, since the trucks can go by behind me which is where they would be going anyway and they can't go into my side as either side of this stall was blocked off and in front of me was blocked as well, I wouldn't be blocking anyone. If ANYTHING, I would be blocked in. Then the long wait came inside because it was the rude guy and a new hire. I also noticed the new hire was getting talked to like complete crap. I'm surprised he maintained his composure. The new guy ends up helping us and luckily, my business was simple. Overall, the experience was completely lousy. That guy who was the rude jackass needs to get fired. I haven't seen someone treat customers so callously and his own co-workers the same way. If this location wants good reviews and business, I would suggest not treating customers and fellow employees like crap. You don't tell customers to park on the damn street when doing so puts your car directly and fully into a traffic lane. There is no side parking to speak of. Its lane-curb/sidewalk. I'm just in awe that moron suggested that. This location completely cares less about their customers. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else and avoid this location. The general manager at this location is AWESOME! Super friendly and fun to chat with. He helped get us exactly what we needed for the move after we realized we needed a bigger truck. In fact, everyone that we dealt with here from check in to check out was great. I'm glad this is my local uhaul and I'll be back anytime I need to do an in-town move.Krista P.
This was a bad experience. We had prepaid for boxes and did not get most of what we paid for. The service person had a paper with what was prepaid and was shorting the list. They didn't care about our experience. We were also told that if we didn't fold up the blankets we would be charged a cleaning fee! What?!?!? I paid you money for the use and I am not your maid service! This was a very bad experience and we won't be returning to uhaul in the future. There are other options which we will explore.Robert S.
I didn't love that I had to call Uhaul (and wait on hold for 20 minutes) hours after we dropped the truck because my reservation was still showing as â€œactiveâ€ on my account. I would encourage they process returns faster to not add extra moving stressCody T.

I couldn't change my pick up time on the computer so I tried calling five different times and sat on phone line waiting a very long time with no answers. When I got to the location the clerk was joking on how they never answer the phones. That wasn't ok. I wasn't alone so I have a witness that also heard also and knew I had wasted a lot of wait time on the phone.RACHEL G.
This place has done a 180 from the last time I was there (couple years ago) manager is very involved with his staff and train while still getting the job done. It was very nice to see such a willingness to learn from his staff and everything moving at a fast pace. Really great crew and very friendly and constantly helping each other out to get customers in and out. Been a while since I have seen this. Great job to all this staff and mananger!!!ROBERT W.

When available, the staff have always been kind. I say "when available" because they always seem to be understaffed. I had to wait an HOUR in line before I was able to pick up my truck. One (1) individual was overseeing the check-in process on a Saturday morning! There were about a dozen or more in line. This was not only frustrating, but it delayed my move and had my hired help awaiting my arrival. I will likely reconsider where I rent my next truck.Kyle N.
