It is the closest one to my place. But the self check in didn’t work, the return was a nightmare as there were only 2 employees. They were super helpful and courteous but couldn’t handle the influx of ppl.

Be more accurate on the phone when someone asks "are there any additional charges other than $19.95 advertised on the van?" I was told that the only other charge was the $0.59/km but nothing about taxes and environmental fees.

This comment has nothing to do with the pick up location the people there were nice. But, I was not notify by text message that my pick up location changed. I had to go all the way to another place and pay a taxi and got stuck in traffic because of the time it took to get there. The person on the phone was not nice at all she told me to go with another company if I was not satisfy and blamed my phone company that I acctually called after and no message was sent to me. I only got 20$ off but my taxi cost me way more. I was insulted that the receptionist would talk to me like that it`s the worst kind of guest service I ever had.

Gas was lower than on invoice when I picked it up. Agent said she would adjust to 1/8 tank but she did not. It was such an inconvenience returning truck to find this out and having to go back to gas station to add more gas.

I waited more than 20 minutes for someone to hook up my trailer. I told the employee I was waiting and he forgot about me. They seemed understaffed because he was running around doing too many things at once.

The vehicle was dirty, with tons of salt everywhere in the back. The truck was also filthy inside, with coffee spilled everywhere. But then when we returned the vehicle later, we were accused of being the ones who made it dirty. Thanks. The clerk double charged me for rope that I had purchased online the night before. He refused to give me a refund in the store and told me to call a phone number instead, which further wasted my time. The staff was rude and we couldn't understand anything they were saying. One clerk mumbled incoherently most of the time when we were arranging the vehicle; he wasted everybody's time because we had to continuously ask for clarity. His instructions for paying for the vehicle made no sense and I was continuously worried he had double billed me for the truck as well. The other staff had to keep helping him instead of tending to other people in line. After we arrived and paid, we were told to "wait outside on the right" and our rental truck would be right there. It wasn't. I then had to ask several employees where our truck was; they each didn't know, and sauntered as slowly as possible around the lot looking for it. We finally got our rental truck about 15 minutes later. I am never coming to this Uhaul location again, and I am considering never using Uhaul in general ever again if this is the kind of service your company finds acceptable. I have been very pleased with your company's service at other locations (for example, 900 Water Street in Peterborough), but the service at this Warden location is terrible and unacceptable. Thanks for making my long day of moving even longer and unpleasant.
