For starters they should probably do a thorough inspection of the truck after each use not just flip it for the next rental. If they had done then proper inspection they would have found out that half of the dashboard lights were not working and that the battery was going bad. Twice in a 24 hr period i had to jump start the truck. I didn’t bother calling road side assistance bc i knew it was going to take twice as long it was more beneficial for me to do it myself. I told the store about what was wrong with the truck and they couldn’t care less.

I would not recommend any person that has a brain to purchase a rental from them their customer is very unprofessional. The GM was very rude and disrespectful to my husband and he seemed to aggravated with our questions. I feel this is your job to deal with customer service if you don't like your job find another one.

Pickup and drop off were not the problem. RECOMMEND YOU MAKE RESERVATION DIRECTLY WITH THE VENDOR WHERE THE EQUIPMWILL BE PICKED UP. The lady who took my reservation at 800-GO-UHAUL totally dorked it up. Pickup and drop off locations were wrong. Pickup time was wrong. She gets Zero stars and a do not use recommendation!

I only needed the equipment (cargo trailer) for 4 days and told the leasing agent this. He said I had was obligated by policy to pay for 5 days. Why is this? You are basically ripping the customer off by making me pay for an extra day that I don't need and will not use the equipment. As stated I dropped the equipment off on the fourth day. Of course you policy also dictates that I will not receive a refund by returning the equipment early, so as a customer, because of your policies, I do not walk away with a good feeling about your company. If Penske or some other company leased trailers I would certainly check them out first before returning to U-Haul. I've already stopped leasing trucks from your company because of your policies. My last truck rental was with Penske because I said I needed the truck for 3 days and that's what I paid for even though I was traveling from Memphis, TN, to Savannah, GA. Even though your individual leasing agents received good ratings your company would not.

Concerns. I return the piece of equipment at the correct time and placed in the correct location. I called the next day to ensure that everything was ok. The General manager told that he was going to check it in as returned, but he also added that he wasn't sure at the time because they thought it was a part of there inventory. In other words had I not called to check on the return I would have been charged again for the rental equipment and speaking of that. I was charged twice for the equipment. I spoke to Will who is the General Manager. I used my debit card to rent the equipment. Will told me that my bank placed the additional charge or hold which was not true. The truth is the card processing company that Uhaul use places the additional hold.

I’ve used this location before and the customer service was excellent. This time however, it wasn’t up to the past standard. They seems disorganized, had only one person checking out customers (there were 3 of us, 2 of us had prepaid our reservations, but it still took about 15 minutes each to get us out of there...

I had a reservation number emailed to me. Got to location to find out they have not reserved me a truck. Sent me to a further location to get another truck. I was forced to get a larger truck than I ordered. Was told I would be charged .69 cent per mile. Received receipt on email & was charged .99 cents per mile. Very bad management!

When I made the reservation I was told your staff would connect car and tow dolly. When I got there I was told that was my responsibility. I did get one of the staff members to assist me. You have a poorly trained staff. Every worker was new and nobody seem to know what they were doing when it came to connecting Tow Dolly with car.

Was promised a 20 ft truck, I called several times keeping communication open with U Haul due to picking up the truck later but was told by customer service that was ok. The trip from Lake Lure NC to Savannah is about 5 hour drive, I got held up by traffic work on I 26 and the car rental place so I again called U Haul and said I would be there and again was told no problem. Not one time did U Haul call me to say the truck I put deposit on was not there and they did not have a truck that would be big enough for my belongings . They had many chances to call me and tell me the 20 ft was not going to be there and offer to find one. Poor communication on their part . Got to U Haul No Truck!! The truck promised never was returned by the time I got there so I had to take a smaller truck,no other trucks were available , not very professional I would say. The U Haul was too small in the end!!! Lots of valuable items had to be left behind . So this will be last time renting from U Haul!!! Also I purchased a dolly and straps from this place, wish I hadn't now. I even paid cash upon picking up the truck so lesson learned don't trust U Haul unless you are in the same state to SEE your truck that you put the deposit down on. I would not recommend renting from U Haul on Ogeechee Road Savannah Ga.

I went under 5 miles. They tryed to charge me for 153 miles. The truck died when we loaded it ...after having to call for a jump, which messed up the milage computer....they insisted i pay an extra 80 dollars or i could not rent ftom them. I refuse to pay for miles i did not drive!
