They charged me for gas even though it was exactly where it should have been. While we are on that subject, an 1/8th of a tank of gas is not nearly enough with those big trucks. Attendants were non existent as i was instructed to retrieve my truck from row S. Easy enough except there were 2 trucks in front of mine. Took 15 minutes to get the trucks moved so I could leave.

The wait at customer pick up in office is very very very slow. Only 1 or 2 peoples were there, not enough for the long lines. Also, upon pick up and drop of, it is not clear where to go or what to do. No one ever showed up, had to go to counter (long line). No clear signage about what to do or where to do outside. Actual equipment was great, no problems. Need to hire more people, can be frustrating waiting and very slow.

The equipment was clean but the alignment was pulling to the right. When I made a turn at low speed it almost went very close to the guard rail near hospital curve. And when driving a straight line it pulled right as well. Other than that the vehicle served its purpose.
The customer service here is terrible. I will stick to Belmont Uhual or Rob Bakers in Millbrae. Trying to get someone to help me was ridiculous. I spent 45 min walking back and forth, 7 times! trying to get someone to help me with an adjustment on my receipt. I finally told the girl behind the counter that i wasn't going to keep walking back and forth, I was pretty upset at this piont. I, as a customer shouldn't be bounced back and forth to different employees becuase everybody's too busy to help me! I told her she needed to find someone who could help me. That it wasn't my job to go fetch someone. She gave me an attitude at this piont which was totally unprofessional. I had valid reason to be upset. I'm a paying customer! What ever happened to good customer service! A happy customer is a returning customer. The girl parking the trucks outside was very sweet but the one inside behind the counter, was terrible. Did I give her an attitude? Sure did. Was it valid? Absolutely. Was her negative attitude and negative tone appropriate? Never. I know. I'm in customer service too! Im a bus driver I gotta deal with all kinds of people. She told me well you're just gonna have to wait becuase i can't help you right now, see that blue line over there? You need to stand behind it until I'm done with this other customer. What other customer? The guy still looking at boxes?? There was nobody in there but me and another guy looking at boxes! It's too much detail to write and I'm getting upset all over again typing this out. Long story short, some guy ended up helping me after 45 minutes of walking back an forth. He was behind the counter helping out the rude one. I waited patiently in line ( there was a line this time ) and fortunately I got him and not the rude one. He adjusted my receipt in like 2 minutes. 2 minutes. Let me say that one more time. 2 minutes. All of that back and forth for what could have been done in 2 minutes becuase according to the rude one she couldn't do it. Only the person outside could do it for me! What a bonehead. Train your staff so they know what there talking about next time instead of wasting my time!

Yesterday I picked up a truck that had no gas in it, I was told to go ahead to the gas station right away. I left the lot and went directly to get gas. At the gas station, gas poured out underneath the truck when I pumped. The gas tank had been stolen the night before. I drove the truck back picked up another truck. I was running late and did not submit another photo for the second truck I rented. I dropped the truck later on and was charged for a gallon and half of gas and a 25.00 cleaning fee. I use u haul often and am sure to thoroughly sweep out the truck. I called into Uhaul today and was told to go back into the location I rented from, I have limited free time as was wondering if I could be refunded for the gallon and half of gas and the 25.00 cleaning fee. Very convenient and fast.
I was requested another location but was sent here because they didn't have the truck I needed. It was a very unsafe location and didn't have parking for customers. We had to get our own truck at the back of the lot. The price I paid was $35 over my initial quote because of the extra distance I had to drive.

Try harder not to have my credit card skimmed. Before I left the lot someone made a phone call to fraudulently charge on my credit card. This was the only place the card had been used in a month and I scratched out the 3 #s on the back so it had to have been from a skimmer on your machines because they knew the code.
Everything went well. Did have a problem with my reservation but it was handle in a proper way and as a customer I was satisfied. The only problem I did have after leaving the place was that the lights on the trailer were not working. Driving at night the lights did not turn on. I yet to hear from the general manager to dispute the problem I had because I had to rent it for 2 days and only needed it for 1 day.
I was over charged deliberately changing the gas gauge to make it look like I didn't fill it but I did uploaded a pic
My experience here was not pleasant. Right when i get there, there was no line and there were two workers in he front desk. Both of them were on there phones and chit chatting with one another. One worker called me and said i can help you, and as soon as she calls me over she gets on her phone and looks down. I stood in front of her for a good 2 minutes as she continues to chit chat with her coworker. When i spoke up and asked her if she would help me, her response was "Oh I forgot i called you, i didnt see you there" and then laughed with her coworker. I dont know if these ladies just dont want to work, if thats the case then maybe find another job.
The truck was not accessible for 24/7 pick up; it was in the middle of several vehicles. I ended up going through customer service to check out the truck. The truck was clean but no evidence of being disinfected of COVID-19.
I regret not taking a picture of the fuel needle because if we had seen it was 1/8 full we would have fueled the truck.A $30 service fee for gas and all the little hidden costs of the rental was absurd. The company should be up front about the environmental fee, rental tax etc. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again.
