Overall the equipment was fine. The acceleration was not that great, and the positioning of the gas and brake were difficult to get to both comfortably. But all in all, I got done what needed to get done. What I did want to alert you to, is the training of your desk personnel. Upon rental I let them know I would be dropping off the vehicle after hours. The information I was given was to drop the vehicle at the gate, and put the key in the slot. I did that. I then saw on the slot I had to check out online, which I was not told upon rental. What was really frustrating, was that I was not told I'd be asked for all these pictures of the vehicle, which I could not provide because I had already locked it and put the key in the slot. Someone needs to make sure people are told what they need to do prior to renting. Thx!

1) when you walk in the "entrance" you have to go to the other side of the building (near the "exit") to queue - rename the entrances to match where the queueing is OR move the queueing to the "entrance" side. 2) i already had a bicycle hitch installed onto my car several years before. after booking my reservation i called Uhaul and spoke to a representative to be sure my hitch would work to rent a cargo trailer and was told yes. i even specifically said "i have no ball on my hitch" and was told uhaul would have the accessory needed to rent the hitch. first, they didn't tell me i'd have to purchase that accessory for an additional $50 and second there was never any mention of my having to put "wiring" on my hitch for trailer lights for an additional $200. HUGE expense to rent a $89 trailer and I would NOT have made my decision to rent had I known I'd be in it for an additional $250. 3) the three times i was in the "yard" I was looking for personnel to help me. I had to walk back into the facility to have them page someone in the "yard" to help me and they came out of some mysterious place that looked a lot to me like they were coming from one of the trucks, either sitting listening to the radio OR sleeping. 4) it was not clear to me where i was supposed to go once i got my paperwork. i stood by my car for a while before going back in to ask; then stood by the van pick up area before being told i was supposed to drive my car to the trailer area. 5) Michael and Julio at the bayshore blvd facility were both very friendly and helpful with great attitudes.

The guys that brought the truck over and did the final check out before I left the lot was great. Very professional, friendly and engaging. He set the stage for my day ahead and it turned out to be a good one.

Great service great team.

We opted for the self pick up to save time, but ended up with spending more time as we had to go to the Center to pick up keys, etc. The guy at the 'green tent' could have been a bit more enthused about his job. Felt like pulling tooth just to get an answer from him.

This place is usually fine, this time the inside of the cab was unclean, spilt drink on the dashboard, sticky. Also the AC was broken in the truck. I did the self check in, never again. It took too long to verify my license and head shot, 8 minutes of sitting around waiting. The parking lot is huge and I was expected to find the truck among dozens. After it was finally verified I still had to walk all the way back to service center and wait in line for the keys! What's the point of self service?! Not easier or faster. Never again.

The system broke down. Took an hour to check out. Will never use this service again

I especially liked the young man who did my checkout. He left me feeling with good vibe!!

I have zero complaints about the location where I picked up my truck. The app experience, attempting to utilize the features which allow after-hours pick up/drop off. No where in the app process was it made clear that my reservation was only tentative and my location "preferred", meaning my pickup location could be changed without an notice to me and I wouldn't find out until I arrived at the location to pick up my equipment. As a result, I walked to the pick up location, and was then told I would have to travel over 5 miles away (I don't own a car, I rely on public transit) to pick up my truck and there was no alternative. Throughout my experience with customer service, I was told again and again that any location chosen for a reservation via the app is "preferred" and when I inquired where that was stated I never received an answer. To add insult to injury, customer service issued me a $50 gift certification on my *next* rental and closed my ticket without informing me. It was only after I pointed out that their solution did zero to assist with my current situation did they reopen my ticket. I'm still waiting to hear back from someone in a managerial role to discuss this case with them. Working in tech, I understand how important it is for a company's app experience to be seamless and transparent. My experience was anything but.

A bit chaotic in general with lots going on. Seems odd no return receipt was available but in the end all good :)

Nothing special, but have night drop off so it is convenient.

Michael was topnotch in assisting us.

I didn't know where to leave the equipment after hours. There was not a secure place.
Thomas B. en
This was a really poor experience and this location needs serious oversight by a corporate office. The employees do not care about the customers, they are lazy, and nothing is organized.

I wont be using nor would I recommend to anyone a company that has so poor a service to it's customers and the process in which they do business. I plan to write a complete discription of this situation and let as many as I can not to be swindled with this company

Although the location was busy, the personnel were very responsive. The wait time was less than 5 minutes.
Paul L. en
Would be helpful if staff actually greeted you when you pull in. First comment I received was a staff walking by drinking a soda who said "wait a minute". Staff appear bored and uninterested in their jobs. Had to remind staff to check in my return of blankets and hand truck.
