the staff who checked me out was wonderful; however, this is a busy location, and when I was leaving, I was delayed by being blocked in by someone picking up a truck. Understandable, but 2 staff members saw this and did nothing to assist me on my way until after 5 minutes, I approached them. One staff member in particular sat watching me waiting for several minutes, as I could see his eyes cut over to me often.

Your workers overcharged me by $50 I only traveled 7 miles and they said I traveled 40mi I've been to this location 4 times already this is the first time I have been screwed by you guys, no wonder this location has such poor reviews I'm documenting everything next time so I don't get screwed

The reservation was scrubbed twice before I got a real trailer reservation, so while the location was fine and the rental went smoothly when I was onsite, the cash register worker didn't rent me a dolly and furniture pads when asked - they didn't double check, either, and I didn't realize it until after I had left and went back across the Bay!

You seem to be good at taking reservations, but keeping them is another thing all together, and probably the most important part. Also, the communication structure is fucked up and leads to a lot of people having no clue what is going on while the customer gets shafted. I will certainly be avoiding uhaul whenever possible from now on.

My uhaul was hooked up incorrectly and the trailer came off my truck on the freeway; it nearly killed innocent folks but luckily the safety chain stayed in tact. The tire caught fire and I almost lost my hearing when it exploded in my face. I called uhaul to get my money back and was run through the system. Ridiculous

This was NOT the location I reserved for pick up, or the correct time. I was informed the day before my move (by email, not a phone call) that the location and time had been changed to something that didn't work at all. I called in a panic, after talking to several people at Uhaul I got it worked out and I was promised a $50 credit for my troubles. However, when I got all the way across town to the other location there was no credit. So overall, I'm unhappy with the experience at Uhaul and probably won't be using them again.



The truck I reserved wasn't available when I arrived to pick it up. I had scheduled movers through your website that corresponded with the rental hours, so as a result I ended up having to pay the movers and the babysitters for an extra hour.

I had made a reservation for 10am on 4/1/17. It took me 2 hours to get my truck and AT. They didn't have the truck I reserved, so had to give me a different truck. Took forever to get the AT attached to it, and find someone to help me load my car. The gas gauge on the car didn't work, and kept telling me I had low fuel, even after I filled up.

I had to drive 80 miles round trip just to get the van back to my house to load. I originally ordered it in my town, then was told I'd have to drive 26 miles round trip to pick it up. Then less than 24 hours before pickup I was told 80 miles round trip. So they kept changing my pick up location farther away to get more miles out of me. All this after prepaying for my order. Once they have your money they just jack you around. Ended up costing me over $500 for a 170 mile oneway trip. Total ripoff!!! own. 4 days later I got an email saying I'd have to drive

I'm filing a complaint . I returned the van the same day with less mileage usage and fill the gas to almost full and clean then you charge me arm and legs! You trick your customer who trust you're company . You can check your surveillance camera when I returned the van. This is fraud!!

I currently have a file listed for my complaints with the service provided by the multiple locations in the Bay Area I interacted with. It was personally the single worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. Not only that I was more or less robbed because I paid for a service to be provided and on more then one occasion the employees either failed to deliver or showed high levels of ineptitude at their field, by doing incorrect wiring of a trailer hitch (more than once). I personally will never recommend any of my personal friends colleagues or associates to use your service in the Bay Area ever, no matter the cost of the alternative. The one silver lining was the young gentlemen who attached the trailer was very courteous and helpful to my mother even though the GM and AGM were both continuously rude, unhelpful and frankly disrespectful. It is very difficult for me to give anything but negative feedback for the two locations I have had to deal with in the mid to south Bay Area.

Sometimes it is not what you say, how you say it. Inside help helpful, outside help really hard to figure out. Mad jealous bitter don't care just want the money. Not too sure how to describe the lot guys ?



Ive been charged almost $800 today by this store for a trailer that was returned to them last month. I was assualted and threatened by two employees who Don thompson has assured me he fired the following day after the crimes against me. Roderick Jones instructed me to call him back the day after I was assauleted, I have done that multiple times and left dozens of voicemessages for him and he has not returned any of them as of today--a month later. I will be filing charges against the two individuals that assaulted and threatened me, and will be seeking damages from Uhaul for my injuries, emotional distress, continued pain and suffering from being hit in the head and face with the heavy large piece of firewood chunk that the asstl mgr threw at me, etc.

The van was full of mud when they gave it to us. We brought it back and they tried to charge us a $25 cleaning fee because the van was full of mud! We showed the assistant manager our shoes that had no mud on them and didn't match the mud prints in the van and he still had an attitude! Then he berated the guy who rented it to us in the beginnng in front us.
