I used the online registration, and arrived on time. The truck they assigned me was parked behind two other U-Haul trucks and could not be accessed. Luckily, the office was open and I was able to go inside to get a different truck - after waiting in line. A simple thing - the truck assigned should be accessible.

Clean your trucks better. The seats were covered in animal hair and there was trash in the passenger seat.

Sharon helped me on the phone prior to arrival, and was fantastic! Danita checked me in at the location, and was also great! She answered my questions, and made sure I knew what to do. My truck was blocked in when I went to retrieve it. A little back and forth got me out just fine. Also, if you are using this location, you may find some guys close by offering to help with your move- If you come across Jorge Melecio, he is a great asset, and can be trusted!

staff are bored and don't care. I was given the wrong van, equipment was missing the first time and i had to return. just all round not great.

I ordered my vehicle online. I strayed the pickup process, took pictures etc then I headed inside to pick up the keys to find that the vehicle was dispatched to another person. They then give me another vehicle that was all the way in the back. After walking back and forth 4 times we were able to get a vehicle in the front of the line. Then at the return, the person checking me in (best person of U-Haul experience!) selected on the phone that my fuel level was full but the total charge still showed a $30 gas fee. Again, I had to go inside and wait for that to be resolved.

Keep this location and staff! The Bayview location is pretty awful (the only helpful person was working outside the office), but the staff on Bryant are really helpful and knowledgeable, and I prefer to work with them as opposed to using an automated system.

1. The van had a very strong cigarette odor. 2. I went to drop off the van at 8:30am on January 6, and location was closed, although I spoke with rep the night before who confirmed it was open at 7:00am. Several people were waiting outside in the rain. Waited 15 minutesand no staff arrived. I spoke with a phone rep who extended my return time since I needed to leave and would have to return later. On my return, everything went well.

Take the cart and blankets out of the truck!@! It took up my rented space. You asked me a billion times if I wanted them and I told you no but yet you use space I paid rent for to advertise your stuff. I feel like you owe me rent for storing your things in space I paid for, and the fuel used to tote it around. Also get the guy who works here some help. I waited in line 20 minutes to be served and there where at least 8 people behind me. Only one desk person.

I was told on the phone a different price, when I reserved the van when I get there with my confirmation number I tell them what they had told me on the phone and very dismissive the employee asks if I got the employees name from the company I said no, and please look at the confirmation well it was so you want it or not attitude so no next time please record the conversation if need too so you can replay it for them ! Thanks for treating me like !!!!!!

Don't use Uhaul!! Online service with res# doesn't seem to matter. Good thong I called to confirm order day before as it was non existent, and at least I had a chance to get a truck at the SF location, which cost an extra $300.00, no compensation for Uhaul online inefficiencies. Customer service very poor! Hang ups, order not filled (dolly, mats not placed in truck), overcharging on bill which I needed to point out. It was amazing. 2 days little sleep do to there unprofessional system and personal. Lack of sleep for 2 nights wasn't from worry but from all the extra time and effort do to online order severe inefficiencies, order at Uhaul SF Bryant St. Order incomplete, (no dollie or mats, which cost me extra hrs, and cost to locate and pick up! There's more to the store I just am too tired due to lack of sleep and many unnecessary hrs of work due to Uhaul online and in-store service. Wow what a totally unnecessary experience with no compensation or empathy from Uhaul. Good luck!!

First of all my preferred pick up location was Daly City but when I got a confirmation call they did not had any thing in Daly City and they confirmed SFO (I hate driving in SFO also it was 9 miles far from my place). Secondly, It took me more than 30 mins to pick up my truck, because there was only one representative helping all. Lastly, the front portion of the truck was not clean.

The U-boxes were very close together. When multiple parties we're loading, it wasn't possible for everyone to fit. Also, we reserved two boxes and they weren't next to each other, which again made loading impossible. We informed the staff, they were apologetic but couldn't do anything about it (understandably). In general, all staff people were very friendly and helpful.

Wait time was an hour, the location was further then requested adding extra mileage to my trip, I called scheduling and was supposed to get 20 extra miles for my rental I never got it had to pay extra. I think your customer service agents could be nicer, have accurate information online as well as the app. Credit the miles quoted when booking, and update the way you choose locations if their isn’t availability so people aren’t being inconvenienced driving to other cities, crossing bridges.
