We should not have to wait for Uhaul to send us a check for our deposit back. If we turn it in clean and in time we should get our cash back Some people when they move need that cash especially during a pandemic

The staff went above and beyond to try and make every customer happy. They had a huge line and worked very diligently to make it a good experience. Uhaul corporation gave these employees the worst computers and website to work with. Update your software so your awesome employees can shine!
We returned everything after hours I had no interaction with the employees
I've always been satisfied with this location, but often see that it appears to be understaffed. When you have only one person working at times and that person is out in the parking lot hooking up a trailer or checking on a return, it's fairly poor customer service to simply have a line building up on the inside of the store with no one there. The employees were great, but they can only do so much.

I hate to give a negative review of this business, but the poor service is impossible to ignore. When I reserved this unit online from Texas there was no indication this storage location was still under construction and not ready for service. This wasn't even explained when I arrived, but was given vague excuses that the person that needed to assist me was unavailable and to please return tomorrow. This happened 3 days in a row. I explained that the contents of the trailer I rented was destined for that storage unit and I was concerned that they were charging me extra days for the trailer. It was then I was put in touch with the manager, Ricky, and told he would meet me at the building to let me in to unload my stuff. This was finally accomplished the following day, but after we finished I was told that the new Master Lock padlock I installed was not the approved "round" padlock and would have to be replaced. I offered to replace it with the approved lock and was told to return Thursday, but when I returned Thursday Ricky apologized that his mother-in-law was in town and asked if I could return the next day. I returned the following day to learn that the alarm company was calibrating the building security system and they could not enter the building until that was completed, so please return another day. I returned again and replaced the lock. Ricky stated the trailer rental would be adjusted, but I was not given a receipt. I was told that in order to gain access to the storage that I would need a key card and to please return the next day to pick it up from their main location. I returned the following day, only to be told that the only person that knew how to program the key cards was Ricky and he was gone for the day, so to please come back on Monday. These were not inconsequential trips as I was living in Gower, MO and the rental is in St. Joseph, MO and there were specific days and times I was asked to return and when I did I was told to return another day. After I was finally given a key card I stopped by the storage locker twice to remove some things from storage and had to get a flashlight because the lights had been turned off for all but the front row of the building and the hallways and lockers on my side of the building were completely dark. I then received a late notice for the storage rental, the date for that rental began not on the date I was finally given access, but the original move in date. I came by the office last Thursday to speak with Ricky the manager about my concerns. He was there, but apparently busy and I was told to return on Monday after 10am. This has been an extremely poor experience. I will not hesitate to tell people what an awful experience I had with this location in St. Joseph. I intend to remove my belongings as soon as possible.
I rented a trailer. There were a few problems with the electrical connections that needed to be fixed before I could hook up. Jonathan was very apologetic and fixed the problem as quickly as he could. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Outstanding, friendly staff always looking for every solution to accommodate your request. Couldn't ask for a better team!
I have good service and the two people that were still there two years ago when I pulled in November 16th from California I enjoyed them good U-Haul

Train employees for better customer interaction. One employee (Cheyenne) being loud and using business lingo to sound important. Claimed didn't have the trailer I reserved 5 days earlier and that "Traffic" does this all the time. Do they not verify appointments to equipment? Basically made a scene and got me upset without actually checking. Another employee (Deanna) found the equipment I reserved but unfortunately one of the slides on the car dolly did not function.properly. Also, pointed out pics on app did not match unit (stickers differed).
Everything went well, Sales Rep at the counter was knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful smile.

Don't rent out trucks that are damaged and in need of repair and make sure all employees know not to rent out the damaged trucks. Also make sure trucks are cleaned inside before renting them out.

The inside of the cabin was very dirty. We had to wipe it down . The windshield was dirty too . Everything else was very good .
