I did NOT request 24/7, but apparently when my pick-up location was changed on me, that was changed, too. I had deliberately requested an actual UHaul location so I could purchase supplies, so it was frustrating that that was changed. Also, I had specifically wanted counter check-in, as I was nervous about driving a truck on my own and wanted an orientation. Instead, I was told I had to do it by phone, requiring me to change my phone settings (which I didn't want to do), and then, after taking all the photos, the web/app would not let me enter my alternate contact's phone number - even when I tried 3 different #s for him, then changed the alternate contact person and phone number, the response continued to be that the # was already in my record (5 different number?!?). After 30 minutes of trying to check in on my phone, I went back inside and asked for help at the office. After he told me "Sometimes when people don't know how to use their smartphones, it's hard" (rude, AND my 24- & 27-year-old tech-savvy children also couldn't get the check-in to work on my iPhone 11), he eventually completed my check-in (no orientation, though). Also, the lock on the truck was very difficult to pull open - my strong son needed me to stabilize while he pulled w/both hands. All in, it was 45 minutes from arrival to driving away, holding up the people waiting to help load the truck.

It was just a parking lot drop off after hours. It was efficient, but hard to find.
I was billed for things I did not request, told to fill it up and it was not full when I got it, I have spoken to two customer service agents and they have never called me back.
The return gas mileage was incorrect I filled the truck before returning it and the return receipt showed that it was not on full.
The gentleman who helped us was very friendly. and got us on our way quickly. If you needed anything additional for your move, it was not apparent you could get it at this location. The front mats in the cab was muddy and the passenger side lock was missing but fortunately you couldn't open the door so someone couldn't break in.
U haul changed my location 2 times. The first was only 2 miles from me. Then they changed it. 11 miles further at the last minute.. more mileage, more gas.
This was the WORST experience I have ever had renting from U haul I requested a in person pick up not using an app. yet when i got there the business was closed and I had to use app it took me over 1 hour to download and figure out how to get truck !!!! I was in tears it set back my move time. I litterally paid 100 dollars for the worst experience. I will never rent from uhaul again

The location was very difficult to find first off. Second I got my location thrown around three times because I booked a truck online and the system updated and changed my location three times. I was told by the antelope location â€œsorry might want to change your plans.â€ Because my truck was not available. Didn't offer me another truck just said â€œsorry change your plansâ€ I thought that was ridiculous. Over all my experience was very unpleasant.

Where do I begin. The reservation process was a joke. I called the local Uhaul directly (apparently called Mix Master - very confusing when they answer the phone and I'm expecting to hear Uhaul yet they only say Mix Master). Made the 1 day, same city/in town reservation. THOUGHT it was that easy. I then got a call that night from some other local number confirming the rental at a different local pick up location and incorrect pick up time. I explain how none of that is correct and he puts me on hold several times and then says all is good. I'm not confident, but stupid me trusted all would be well. I hung up, then got 2 text confirmations - one with the incorrect location and 1 with the correct location - both with STILL the incorrect time. But never the email I was supposed to receive. And now no one is answering the phone. The next day, the lady from the original location where I made the reservation calls and tells me the reservation is gone and to call back if I need anything else. What?! I call her back, explain my extreme frustration in all the changes after I was told the reservation was completed correctly, to then be told it was wrong - then moved - then changed the pick up time for no reason - then to be told it now no longer exists. She put me on hold several times and had to end up calling me back after she did some digging around. WHY IS IT THIS HARD? She calls back, says all is good. I obviously can't trust that. But don't have time to question it all. So I show up to the pick up location the next day, the day of our pick up, and was there at our reserved time, only to wait 30 min to be checked in (our movers had to wait (a paid break of) 45 minutes for us to get back to the house). The guy at this DJ/limo rental that apparently also rents out Uhauls - also strange - is helping other customers and we have no choice to wait. Maybe you guys should have more than 1 person doing the check out/paperwork? This was after having to knock on the door to be let in since they were open, yet their door was locked. Turns out, the door doesn't shut so they have to lock the deadbolt in order to keep it shut. You may want to fix that so customers can actually open the door and walk in during your normal business hours. Or be able to freely exit in the event of an emergency. But whatever. Once it's our turn, he explains that the truck got returned completely on empty and that a $34.50 credit has been applied. Well thanks, but now we have to hope to make it to the nearest gas station, be forced to pay whatever price they charge since we don't have enough gas to drive anywhere cheaper, before it dies and make our movers wait even longer. Sure hope you charged the previous customer a hefty fine for this. (ps I also don't like that when I made the reservation, she took my credit card info. PLUS when checking in, HE had to enter it all into the system again. Not a great feeling). We go to sign the 1 day reservation contract and it shows $117 total
Worst Experience EVER w/Uhaul I will never use your services again! Did self check in could not get in truck! then was given another truck which I was told that you guys would provide same price for. You guys overcharged and over drafted my account a whomping 3xs and I had to fight for 5 days to get the got damn refund!!! You guys will never be used by myself or anybody in our family again! I will be sure to do my review online about your poor service!
The people were very helpful (and they had a bathroom to share! ) We had traveled over an hour to our pickup point as we were out of town.

I rented this truck through the Uhaul Truck Share 24/7 program. While it was convenient for picking up the truck before the distributor was open, the check-in/verification process was a little lengthy. Over all though it wasn't too bad.

Could not find pick up location even with GPS and address once it was located had to go to another location to pick up furniture dolly because they didn't have one after we unloaded in final destination could not locate drop off location no signs on either location I had to back my vehicle into oncoming traffic to leave with the aid of the worker on site I will never use uhaul again for my moving needs these issues were totally uncalled for and unnecessary The person hooking up my trailer could not even plug in the lights Really I had to do it
