Our truck was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Checkout was efficient. We thought the pads and dolly we signed up for would be in the truck when we picked it up. We didn’t realize that we had to pick them up in the checkout area. Since we didn’t feel like going back once we found we didn’t have them, we called and were told our bill would be corrected when we came back. True to their word, the rental fees for the pads and dolly were quickly and cheerfully removed from the final charge. I found all of the staff at this site to be pleasant and helpful. I recommend this place and would definitely use it again.



Everything is bad about this location. Express check-in didn't work, I was double charged and the manager wasn't there.

I needed two U-haul van rentals in three days and the customer service was OUTSTANDING and the time it took for getting my van rental was less than 10 minutes both times! Make sure trained/ knowledgeable employee is hooking up car being towed to tow trailer. Hooked up trailer to towing vehicles hitch just fine but would have connected chains to insecure parts of towed car (ex: exsust system) until double checked by another employee at my request due to his heasitation. I ordered a furniture dolly a week in advance and the store did not have it. This is what was required to complete the task, so thank you, you have now pushed me to use another vendor to meet the needs of the move. Plus, I was moved pickup locations by Uhaul the day prior, why, it was a week advance notice!

The customer service representative who assisted me during check-in was fabulous...knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The after hours truck return process needs correcting. When I made the reservation on the telephone, the customer service rep did not explain what the actual drop off process entailed-he just stated that I could drop after hours. The app sucked until I actually was able to go through the process. There was no drop box as the picture depicted. Explaining the after hours return process would be helpful and beneficial to the next customer.

See if you can look into a local establishment that would allow persons to leave their vehicle in a secured place until they are ready to return your company's vehicle. I am a disabled veteran and had to impose on someone else just to complete my use if your vehicle. I still will use your company again, shortly. Thanks

The customer service at this location is the poorest I have ever encountered. We seemed to be a nuisance to the guy who received us in the parking lot. I took down everyone's names but do not want to get anyone fired. We called around 5:30PM and asked about the location we were dropping the vehicle and the storage space and we were told that as long as we arrived before 7PM we would be able to move in and drop off the truck (we have a recording). When we got to the location the guy looked at his watch and rolled his eyes. He walked up to the van and was irritated that we arrived at 6:53PM. He started walking away from us so I asked him if we were supposed to follow him. He said yes, we went in, and then he walked away into the storage location. 10-15 minutes later he hadn't returned. I asked another woman for help and apparently the first guy didn't do anything, he just walked away. We ended up waiting an extra 28 minutes from when we arrived to get any help. When we finally got to the storage pod, we moved everything one by one by hand for 40 minutes. It was only then that an older woman walked in and told us that there were trollies we could use. The U-haul personnel didn't help us at all, we wouldn't have known if that older woman did not tell us. We ended up finishing the last of moving in 15 minutes because the trollies were so helpful. When we went to return the truck, it was 8:24PM so we had to use the drop box. The instructions were not consistent between the website and the poster on the door, so we called customer service. Customer service then took 10 minutes taking notes about the fact that we were not at the scheduled drop off location (we also have a recording of this). We told her that we had called earlier to ensure that we could both move into our storage pod and drop off the truck at the same location. At around 8:45 we finally finished the process of dropping the truck off. This was hell. I am very irritated with the entire experience (except the pick up). I'm happy to provide more details, but this review is long enough.

The truck hade a low pressure tire, I asked and paid for a dolly and didn’t have in the truck, the service guy told me he would not charge since they forget to put in the truck by looks like that has been charged anyway.



Was assigned a pickup that was completely boxed in therefore I had to go back inside and get a new contract. The process took time away from what I needed to be doing. Better organization is needed in that parking area.

Get rid of all the day labor's trying to get hired. You have go walk through a phalanx of them just to get in the front door. Also my truck was awful. Steering column was so loose that you had to turn the wheel half a rotation just to get the tires to move an inch. Very dangerous.

I used DC Top Choice Movers, and I would/have already recommended using the moving service to all my friends/family. Joseph and Paul were my movers and I really felt like my stuff was taken care of. They communicated with me prior to the move and were very professional and warm! I was a little nervous about the move beforehand, but Joseph and Paul made me feel very much at ease. Highly recommend them!!

Truck was all bent out of shape, so many hits and scratches and dents, tire pressures (all around 15 to 17 Psi) were so low had to add air to be able to drive on top of it I returned the truck early (about an hour) but UHAUL charged me for 2 days! I wrote to UHAUL General Manager but never got response back. Very poor service.
