I called in the rental request and my credit card information was taken over the phone. It was not explained to me that I could do the online check out so when I got there the process ended up taking over 40 minutes during which I had to walk back and forth several times to my car for information that I could have brought all at once if it had been better explain to me. If there is a way to rent and do the check out without having to stand in line behind half a dozen customers who are uncertain about what they want and take a long time to check out, I would much appreciate it for the future. Anything that saves me time, standing for long periods and extra walking Would be greatly appreciated since I have both bad knees and a bad hip.

It’s not about the location. The guy was great however U-Haul as a company I am very upset with. I made reservation a week ago for Saturday at 10am. I got a text at 9am Saturday that my car was not available and had a trunk at 1pm 20 miles away. This was totally wrong and i had to spend and Extra $41 for their mistake. Why make reservations if they don’t have a car and why tell you an hour prior. I’m Very upset by the way it was handled and i will be contacting the manager.

I used the "Express Checkin" online. However, when we went to pick up the truck, we had to wait 40 min just to get the key although the line was not very long. In addition, I reserved the furniture pads online in advance, but they told me that there are absolutely no pads. I think you should come up with the system that accommodates those who requested to rent the pads or blankets for a fee.

The middle seat belt could not be found which made me think there wasn't one ?? & the overall truck driving condition wasn't good. The alignment was terrible, the steering wheel had to much free play (looseness) & it had no get up & go. It was draggy & sluggish. ???? I guess U-haul can make sure that the customer is at least getting a GOOD SAFE RIDE no matter how short & temporary it might be.

No guidance whatsoever on how to strap dollies and materials. Took too long to attend to customers. Van was uncomfortable.

There was a more than 1 hour wait but that was made up for by a very pleasant staff at checkin. The vehicle was new and clean and the staff at dispatch was very courteous and professional. Return as even more pleasant. This my first use of U-Haul and I am very impressed. I will be back and would let others know.

Waited an hour and a half to get a trailer. Then had a hard time getting it from the back. When I returned it there were trucks completely blocking the entrance for 20 minutes and only one poor guy there. You need a bigger lot and more staff. Or another location with trailers in Wheaton, MD.

This is my sole provider for local rentals. I have never had a bad experience with this shop. All good people and they know the vehicles/accessories. They should open one more service desk when it gets overcrowded, but the space is limited so I don't see a choice.

Uhaul in another state hooked up my hitch wrong, signals were reversed, and I left the Uhaul pickup with signals wrong, not good on interstate 495 in rush hour, all uhaul centers are under staffed.... and web site didn't work when I tried to reserve.

Horrible and never again. 10 am appointment to pick up just a trailer, and even though I was there early it took over an hour just to get to the front desk due to lack of coordination and proper staffing. Then, representative Anais was unapologetic for the ridiculously long delay (she clearly couldn’t care less), and was obviously annoyed by the fact that I wouldn’t sign off on existing damage before actually seeing the equipment. Not surprising, since during the wait she left the desk often, usually looking at her phone and I’m guessing was dealing with personal matters while all the customers were left to change their schedules to deal with the delay. I’ve never had a worse experience with U-Haul, next time I’ll use another company for sure.

Have an express check-in dedicated lime, or mod staff managing the check-‘in process. I waited in line for over 30 minutes to revive a rental utility trailer. I get that it was a busy Sunday, but I shouldn’t have to wait in line behind people that don’t even have reservations.

They were a little off task this time. I had to return the next day because the corp office said it was reading late. So it was a pain to have to go back up to the location when it should of been done the following day and not reading late and not returned. Very dangerous.

The wait time for service was too long though two staff were in attendance. The check out guy could do better job. He was too involved with chitchatting while passages were blocked with returned vehicles.
