Grado:

Got there when the store opened, and it was quite chaotic. There were more than 10 people in line for services when I arrived. Not sure if it's possible, but customers could have been better served if there were other desk personnel on duty during high-traffic times.

There needs to be more help to check out and check in the rental equipment. The staff is friendly and courteous. However, having to wait longer than 10 minutes checking out and 30 minutes to check in equipment is a little to long.

I dropped off the truck at 3:00 am on 7/16/2018. It was due back at 8:00 am on 7/16/2018. The U-Haul self checkin application didn’t work. I called customer service and they said that there was a glitch and suggested that I just drop off the keys. To my surprise I was charged for an extra day! Because the location logged me in at 1:12 pm!!! This is unacceptable.

The parking lots is out of control (both parking for customers' cars and UHaul parking). You can hardly get in/out, the folks directing are trying their best to help, but it is pointless - it just results in a cluster. Too hectic, crowded and potentially dangerous (car accidents) to go back.

Grado:

The return parking lot was very busy and packed with vehicles... a curbside person (or two) directing returns would have been more helpful.

My reservation was make two weeks in advance. Then without warning it was moved to a location much farther out than the one I had scheduled (at Parklawn).... then when I arrived to the new location they didn’t have the truck so I called customer service and had to get a smaller truck reserved (which caused me to have to make two trips between my move locations.) the smaller truck was at the original Parklawn location. I took an Uber to and from the new location literally wasting $24. I’m not upset but if the truck wasn’t available at the original location (Parklawn) it shouldn’t have been on the website to reserve.

I called about to give my complain in Darrell Thompson, the general manager. I called twice immediately after getting the truck. But the hold for each call was over 40 minutes waiting for the president of uhaul. Mr. Thomason snatched the papers out of my hand leaving irritation on left hand. He took my credit cards out of my hands when he should of wanted for me to give them to him. He has me wait without giving me proper instructions to ensure I get my truck. He didn't give me the keys, I had to return back to him because while waiting for the truck I realized I had no keys. He than gave the keys without telling who or where to go. I was waiting approx. 10 minutes outside so I didn't know who was bringing the truck to me because no one out there but only one guy who was cleaning out a Van. So I went back in and. And I asked Mr. Thompson who and where was the person he yelled out on front of customers to me I saw the guy walk past you three times. I said I didn't know because when I saw the guy walk past me I had no keys. I told him I was calling corporate because his professionalism does not display good customer service he is a rude, unprofessional man. If you look at my records I interact with uhaul a lot and frequently I must say this was the worst by far treatment I ever, ever, recieved. I saw how some another staff who was serving a customer talking to him unprofessional and rude he sat next to Me. Thompson. I don't know because the area is a little ruff. But no customer should be treated this way. I could of re ieved a deep paper cut from Mr. Thompson snatching the papers out of my hand and I would seek a lawyer for my injury. But it a little irrated and sore. But not a cut just lets me know that the paper irritated my right hand. I want him to be spoken to just because he is the General Manager doesn't give him the right to act and display unprofessionlizm to customers. I was also offered to display my photo to uhaul. I guess because interact frequently with uhaul. Please speak with him. Thank you just very upset didn't mean to type so much but I was not able to reach anyone of management, also Mr. Thompson has a card indicating him as general manager but in his shirt the has on badge Owner.

Despite having reserved a truck we had to wait in line for an hour. Everyone there had also reserved a truck and had to wait. There were only 2 agents to process dozens of people. When we got to the head of the line at 10 am we were told they had "run out of" moving blankets, even though we reserved them. And the dolly we rented was not in the truck which we did not discover until we got to our destination. Unacceptable.

Today, I attempted to pick up a truck via mobile checkin at another location and no car had been assigned to me even though I had already received a confirmation email. After waiting for an extended period on the phone for a customer service representative, I was directed to another location, 30 minutes away. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes. All of this greatly extended my original pickup time by 2 hours. The ignition/key start of the truck we rented did not work. You had to try multiple times to get it to start. I’m greatly dissatisfied with my experience with Uhaul today. Primarily, I’m frustrated that I did not have a truck at my original location even though I booked well in advance.

Grado:

Long lines, not enough workers in the store l, especially on a Saturday. I had a reservaans still waited 1 hour in line

Jordan F. en

Grado:

Waited almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. Both Uhaul employees were rude, nasty, unwilling to help and slow. I fully intend to get my money back. This was an awful experience, and moving is stressful enough. Deadlines matter, so do schedules. Get it together.

No place to park your car when you pick-up the truck. I rented "DC 4539K" a 15 foot truck for 3 hours and drove 35 miles and it costs me $115.48?!?!?! Cleaning fee?!?! $4.50/gallon?!?! Nobody told me about me putting gas in the POS truck (bad breaks, dirty). No help before renting and NO help upon returning the POS truck. After the fact I read it all in your small contract printing. All that I was trying to do was move my 96 father to an independent living facility. Tonight I'll be on YELP and FB to let the world know of my experience and dissatisfaction with your operation. Have a great day.

The rep who checked over my truck upon my returning the truck to this location was professional, courtesy, and quickly took care of me.
