The vehicle was in OK condition but obviously heavily used. It took a while for someone to help me when I arrived, and there was no one around to receive the vehicle when I returned. After waiting around for 15 minutes in the yard I finally went back all the way around the building and asked if someone was in the back to receive the truck and was told, "no, we'll just take the keys, thanks." This is now leading to my requesting a refund for a fuel charge which was made. The lady at the desk told me the vehicle was at 1/4 tank, and it was when I took it out and returned it, yet the equipment contract says the vehicle was at 11/16 when it was given to me. Not true, and I really couldn't care less about the $12.00 I was wrongly charged, but I don't like thieves. Maybe my fault for not checking the contract, but that's what I get I guess. First time in my many, MANY vehicle rentals that this has happened.

Pickup and drop off could have been a lot easier but instead you have to go to the back of the building to do that. I'm not sure if the location is too tight or there is not enough man power to drive the rentals in front of the building for the costumers especially when it's raining. Other than that, the rental process was smooth.

Check your reservations earlier in the morning so that you will have the keys ready. I made the reservation late the night before so the keys weren't ready. Otherwise, everything went well. Customer service was friendly and van was in good condition. I will use this location again in the future and highly recommend it.

Truck had mechanical, possibly transmission, problems. Engine kept revving up as if the transmission were shifting down to a lower gear, and truck slowed down. This happened at all speeds. On the interstate highway I almost had to pull aside and stop because I thought the truck was going to shut down. The problem corrected itself but kept recurring. This started happening after having driven close to 200 miles.

I needed a truck/Van to carry an item of 75 inches length (inside, not all the vehicle length). I was recommended a truck of 10 ft long ( inside the truck). It was too big and more expensive $0.99/mi instead of the Van (a lot of them were standing there). The Van was much more compact and efficient for gas and cost less per mile. That is how I would put my customer over a waste of customers resources, plus it would have been an environmentally responsible choice. Thanks, U-haul for educating better your associates.

The initial mileage on the reservation was inaccurate and was brought to the attention of the service representative BEFORE the vehicle left the lot. He assured me he would make the adjustment to the account. He did not. When I received the final invoice via email, the invoice was inaccurate. I had to call the location the next business day to have my account manually adjusted and they referred me to the national customer service department to adjust my account. The adjustment was for a small dollar amount, but it's the principle of the matter that counts. This was a poor example of customer service.

The parking situation was less than ideal. I wasn't happy that there wasn't on-site customer parking and I had to leave my car in a shopping center that required crossing multiple lanes of busy traffic.

i requested to have a 3:30 pick up time. i arrived at around 3:45 and had to wait for the person to connect the flatbed to the pick up truck - i was on a time limit and i was not able to leave until about 4:15 - would have preferred to have it pre set for pick up

The uhaul.com/share return process is a headache and too long. I became frustrated with the online return process and want to suggest on cutting down the step by step process so it wont be so tedious for people, especially after a long day with moving.
