The young lady behind the counter was very professional and friendly, transaction took only a few moments. She was excellent . The two young men, who worked outside, were very nice and helpful as well. One of them walked me to the vehicle I was renting when I was not sure of the direction I needed to go to retrieve the van. Same two gentlemen were there when I returned, and they had me leaving in less than five minutes. They could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Well done U-haul RVC!

Check out took forever because there was only one lady working there. Long check outs seem to be the norm at this location. I can say ghe same for the Hempstead location as well.....under staffed...

You need to hire more people. The representative was very competent, very lovely, and very hard-working but he was overwhelmed with customers with no one to help him. The bringing the van back process was much much easier.

Great customer service. They are very courteous and very helpful. I was given a courtesy call to make sure I wanted the loaner as I was running late. Therefore I did not lose my reservation. The guys there are very helpful and def they prioritize customer service above all. I will only go to this location. Every experience has been awesome.

I scheduled my pick-up for 8:30AM & while on my way there, Uhaul called the alternate number hoping to leave a message about my truck not being unavailable due to some emergency. Unfortunately for them my wife answered & frantically called me because I had 3 movers that I was paying hourly, along with 5 other friends, & we were 10 minutes away from the location. When I arrived I was told that an emergency came up & would have to wait until the truck arrived. A nice guy called the supervisor who was picking up the truck and informed me that he just got to the truck's location so maybe a little after 9am. After a little back and forth & nice lady suggested that I take a 20 footer instead & give my 26 footer to other recipient. SO in effort to make it work they lowered my mileage cost to $0.99 per mile in case I had to make 2 trips. Luckily we had 4 trucks there & loaded them with boxes to lessen a return trip. When I arrived I was told that I needed to speak with the manager & had to wait. The same nice lady went to get him & returned with a look on her face, said I'm sorry, & proceeded to the back of the counter. Another employee came in & said "he's dealing with the propane right now. You gonna have to go outside n talk to him!" I said, "Let me see if I've got this right. I was inconvenienced because my truck wasn't ready, I had to throw things into my friends car because the 20 footer was too small, and now I have to go to the manager because he's too busy to speak with me? I Wow this place is amazing!" To which he responded "I don't understand what the problem is! He's busy! You can either wait or go talk to him!" "Are you for real right now" I asked. "Check it out, we went out of our war to help you this morning. We used our personal vehicle, wasted our personal gas, to help you out n you here givin us attitude," was his response. I walk away from him & towards the manager who walking back from the propane refill station. "Excuse me, are you the Manager?" I asked, "Yes" as he walked by me, so I had to keep walking and talking. we get to the counter & he gives me a total of about $53 for the day. Then that's when it really went downhill. I reminded him that I requested a bigger truck for which I was given a smaller one & that my reservation wasn't in good order. "So what do you want me to do? We gave you a 20 footer & we're only charging you $0.99 a mile instead of $1.89 for the inconvenience". Well when I reminded him that Uhaul has a policy that they will pay $50 if a reservation wasn't in good order he scoffed, took a deep breath, and said "well then I'm going to have to charge you $1.89 a mile!" If it wasn't for the young guy with the beard, & the lady, I would've given this place 1 star, but I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever. By the way, I NEVER received an apology for the inconvenience because I guess they felt it was my fault because I was impatient & expected too much from them! Uhaul: resend those to back to some cu
