The mileage charge was outrageously high. Somehow a $20 rental turned into a $77 expense. On top of that, the customer service was nonexistent and the van smelled terrible every time I got inside of it.

Only one employee to work the gas station counter and uhaul rentals. Very inefficient.

The person first told me my reservation wasn't in the sistem and proceeded to ignore me while I called cust. svc. to resolve the issue. The truck had less gas than what was listed on the contract, but he said he couldn't change the printout so I just took a time date picture of the gas guage.

even though I did the check in way ahead of time, it took almost an hour since the moment I arrived for pick up to drive away with the UHaul. Same on drop off. Also, truck didn’t have the additional equipment I had specified. All in all they had two of the three equipment. Since one was missing I was told I would be getting a discount for the amount of the equipment. When I received the email with the invoice there is no discount, I was charged the full amount of the missing item plus a mystery $6.26.

I had the WORST experience renting from the location. The WORST customer service from the people working inside the location. My reservation was confirmed for Monday, November 20th 2017. My reservation was given to someone else on Saturday November 18th 2017. I was called by the gas station Uhaul staff on Saturday about the reservation being given to someone else. I told them that whoever that was that came in for the van, was NOT me. I was told and assured that my reservation for 11/20/17 was still good, and that I would be able to come and pick up the van with no issues. A worker with the gas station Uhaul location even TEXTED me to confirm that I could still pick up the van on Monday. The phone number that text me was 813-516-2755. When I went to pick up the van on Monday 11/20/17, I was told that my reservation was given to someone else because they had the same last name as me... I was offered NO help, and the staff in the gas station Uhaul location treated me as if it was MY fault for the mix up. During this interaction with the staff, they proceeded to attend to other customers as if there was not a HUGE mistake that happened on their part. After standing there for 20 minutes with ZERO help, I finally suggested to them that they should just make me a new reservation if my previous reservation was given to someone else. Reluctantly they made another reservation for me, and I was able to leave with the van. This horrible experience lasted approx 30 min. Soon after I left the Uhaul location, I was contacted by a gentleman named John. He did not apologize for the mix up, however, he was clear in his instructions to me on how to return the vehicle so that there was no mix up in payment. When I went to return the van, the same day at 7:30 pm, there was another Uhaul customer having the SAME EXACT mix up as I was. He was also getting the SAME EXACT unprofessional customer service that I received. After speaking with this customer, he reported that he ALSO reserved the van for that day, and that he was told the van was not available. (I had just returned the van, but the uhaul staff told this customer that he could not rent it right away.) Needless to say, this experience was the WORST! From Saturday up until today, I have received THREE different receipts for my reservation. I was emailed a receipt on Saturday, a receipt last night, and a receipt this morning. After my calculations from my original reservation, I am owed $12.00 back from your company. I am COMPLETELY confused as to how customers could have this experience with such a large company, and it's not fair because NO ONE has offered to help me figure out what is going on! I have received this same exact email multiple times as well. I will write the same exact review for each survey I receive. I will never use this location again. And I will make sure that all of my business partners NEVER use this location.

How about a little knowledge about what they are doing and quotes on how much the rental is gonna cost and the availability. I feel I got ripped off and will be filing formal complaints to U-haul. There was no at time off rental walk around for a walk around at time of return and no final bill knowledge. The attitude from Manny, who was the person who handled the rental at Marathon, was one of aloofness and uncaring. He told me that I would be getting an E- mail with the final charges. Very unprofessional.

They did not charge my card for the 19.99per day rate we agreed too, they did not closed the ticket on the day they I brought vehicle back, they keept ticket open, until Tuesday 11th when I brought the vehicle in on Monday 9th at noon, I have record of taking the uhaul on Sunday, because I have video of my inspection because the uhaul had a crack windshield, the driver side seat did not move. I contacted location about charges the guy hung up on me after I confronted him about the charges

Waited 30 minutes even though I checked in early online. Clerk was running a busy convenience store and checking in uhaul customers all alone. Van had a large crack in the windshield and was not clean.

The employee did not know what they where doing took over a half hour to compete check in and i had done pre check in on line. Also can was dirty and smelled or urine.

Location did no visual check of vehicle before I left lot I drove 15 miles total and when I returned was told after 30 minutes of waiting that the truck was damaged in the front after arguing with another lady in a language I did not under stand I was told the previous customer was an Indian man who was very gentle and used the vehicle for commerical reasons and drove a few hundred miles couldn't have caused the damage it must have been me. I was told that the distract manager would tell me how much I owed sometime in the next few days. Other customers were waiting along with me horrible customer service. Also the truck when I received it was dirty and the drop clothes were scattered all over the back of the truck.

The sales clerk did not go over the charges w/ me nor did he check out the van. When I got into the van I noticed the fuel gauge was not on full. I drove around to the front of the store where the sales clerk was outside smoking and brought it to his attention. When I got home I noticed on the receipt that there was a $10 charge under CDW , which I did not know what it stood for so I contacted U-Haul. I was informed that it was collision insurance. I told the representative that I had a full coverage automobile insurance and did not need coverage . He informed me that the charge could be taken off when I return the van. When I returned the van, I told the noon sales clerk I had spoken to U-Haul about the CDW charge and that it could be removed. I told him that I didn't appreciate the sales clerk just taking it upon himself to add it to my bill . He stated that the morning sales clerk said he went over everything with me, which was a lie. Whenever I return the van with a full tank, I ask the sales rep to remove the CDW charge, he stated that he couldn't do that. While still in the store, I had to call U-Haul and they had to explain to the sales rep how to remove the charge from my receipt. I won't be renting another vehicle from that location again. It's one thing for them not to inspect the vehicle but to call the customer a liar is something a customer will not tolerate. I would not recommend this location to my friends family or others. Also, a nice cold AC would have been great in 90 degree weather but not when it reaps of cigarette smoke. Disappointed customer.
