I called in to rent a pick-up truck but I wasn't going to be the primary driver or the one to pick up the truck so I wanted to pay with a credit card over the phone and also add two drivers. I was told I couldn't pay or add drivers over the phone or that I should just do it online. So I did. But when one of my two drivers showed up to pick up the truck he had to put his credit card down and his card ended up being charged once the truck was returned. He was very confused when he showed up to pick up the truck since everyone should have been taken care of already. Also, online the price for a rental pick-up is listed to at $19.95, per day I'm guessing. But our charged rate was $108.90 per day, and charged for 2 days, totaling $217.80, plus the miles we drove. Even with $2 environmental fee each day that doesn't add up. And over the phone when I made the initial order I said to add the $10 (I think) damage waiver coverage, but when my driver picked the truck up that coverage was removed and we were not charged, so thankfully there was no damage. I'm just very confused why there was so much confusing and change of prices and fees from my initial rental setup over the phone.

I was not allowed to rent the truck that I need because when I returned a vehicle guys rode in the back. I really needed to move my items from storage, and if it had not been for one of my guys recommending another moving company, I would have been out of luck. I was angry and I am still angry. That fact that your employee pulled this crap. I put this on face book so that the world could see that Uhal is full of shit. On a scale of 1 to 10, you get a minus 0.

I was charged gas fees, but I spent $80 in gasoline. The gas tank was only supposed to be 3/4 full, but with the $80 the tank was almost full. But in my receipt sent via email I was charged $50 dollars for gasoline. That is fraud!

After about an hour of driving the vehicle became very hot on the inside and was pushing Heat to the bottom of the cab making my feet very hot and unpleasant to drive. Also the truck RPMs we're stuck at 5000 rotations per minute and I couldn't go over 60 miles an hour.

My pick up time was delayed twice, though I reserved online, I still waited nearly a half hour to pick up the trailer because only one person was assisting customers. I was warned to have trailer back by 7:00 a.m. even though the trailer was late for pickup. When I returned the trailer, no one was around and the facility didn’t even open for two more hours. Lousy service!

They were supposed to credit us for the inconvenience and handle the ordeals I faced renting with U-Haul but they were rude and short tempered. They did not care about my experience and could care less about doing the right thing. You could tell the people who work here did not like their jobs or having to deal with customers. This was one of the worst U-Hauls I have ever been to. It was a horrible experience and I will never use U-Haul again! Ever!

There was only one attendant taking reservations and checking customers out while I was there in the morning. Having additional staff available for Friday's and Weekends would be preferred. I ended up putting in my reservation online on my phone while I was waiting in line because it was so busy and taking so long.
