Lines were way too long. 30 minutes to rent a van that I had pre-reserved.

The cashier was quite abrupt with other customers. The wait was quite long and she appeared to be alone. The truck was dirty and I did not get the correct dolly from my order.

The morning we arrived to pick up the truck we had reserved, there was only one clerk at the computer and a dozen people in line. Another clerk came in, helped the next in line and went outside for ten minutes. Then the young man behind the counter walked out to give the next customer his vehicle. The nine of us in line were augmented by the arrival a three more customers. The woman returned and was preoccupied with paperwork but eventually she called the next person in line. The man returned to his computer and next customer and the woman disappeared again. I was in line for 35 minutes. The young man was polite and efficient, but the wait was as unexpected as it was unpleasant. When my transaction was completed, the agent asked if I had any questions. I answered, "Yes I do. Why doesn't the manager schedule more agents and other people to prep the rentals so that the cashiers don't have to leave when there are a dozen people waiting to be served?" He answered, "Normally there's more staff, but today several called to say they couldn't come to work." At the end of the day when I returned the vehicle, I asked if I could reserve a pickup truck for the following day, but to pick it up and return it to the Belmont UHaul location (I did not say my reason was because it is nearer my home and is better staffed and more efficiently operated). He said, "Sure. But we have all your information. I can do it for you." I thanked him and left. When I went to the Belmont location the young lady said there was no reservation in my name. Luckily they had several pickups and I was able to rent one very quickly and continue emptying my house into a storage unit.

You need more workers. Daniel was great but they were really busy. I waited in line for 45 minutes for my reservation.

U-Haul is usually a nauseating experience, and this time was no exception. At least I got the truck I wanted this time. But it wasn't clean, the lights didn't work, and the staff 'forgot' to include the appliance dolly and pads. The staff was unhelpful and seemed disinterested and bored. I usually set the bar low when renting from U-Haul so I'm not too disappointed. The only bright spot was Daniel, one of the yard men. He was the only one interested in assisting me with my tow dolly. Except for him, I don't rate this location well at all. Use at your own risk.

My Wi-Fi self check in did not work but since there was no waiting line the whole process took less than 5 minutes. The employees were very experienced and Quick to offer assistance.

My whole experience with uhaul was a nightmare. I was at redwood city for over an hour trying to sort out the res and pick up location mess. Non of this was redwood city's fault but Daniel did his best to help me. It was the only good part of the experience.

The equipment was excellent, except for the missing radio antenna that I discovered 25 miles and 45 minutes out and had to return to get. Service was crappy. After being told repeatedly that the "computer" would figure out my lowest rate for my rental it did not. I pointed this out to the manager who told me to essentially go pound sand and overcharging me by about 300 dollars. I will be contacting your corporate office directly to complain as well as preparing a small claims lawsuit next week. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE RECOMMENDING UHAUL TO ANYONE.

Pick-up was a zoo. It would have helped if the self-pick up process was better explained on your web site. It appears that I should have used my mobile phone to make the reservation. I wasn't sure how the self-pick up worked and didn't bring the URL/userID/password I needed to use self-pick up when we went to get the van. The manager took pity on us and took care of getting up connected with a vehicle and on our way. No problems after that. Return was a breeze.

The uhaul facility was grossly understaffed and there was no apparent manager. Some of the employees were dismissive and rude. The lady who actually assisted us was very nice.

have accurate readings on your fuel tanks on check in. I filled it correctly back to the line i rec'd it at. You guys charged me an extra $6 1.4 gallons. Not much money but the principle of it is still irritating.

There was a 1.5-2 hour wait. There was only one customer service representative. They forgot to put my dolly in my truck. They rented out the same truck to two different customers. This location is poorly managed.

With all the business, it would be good to have a larger lot, and could probably need another person or two to help in customer service. The gentlemen that I did work with were very helpful and nice. They really tried to accommodate all the customers as best they could.

First let me say that the manager, Sergio, was as good and as attentive as one could be considering the circumstances. However, the proposed pick-up time (set by uhaul HQ) and level of staffing we're completely unacceptable based on the people there with 9am pick up times. Additionally, the lot was a confusing mess with trucks and passenger cars parked, seemingly, at random though one can't expect to manage that situation when the location was absolutely slammed.

i had to wait 2 hours in a line to get my truck. there were 20 people in front of me. they had 1 person working the line and moving trucks. it was pathetic

Make sure to have enough people staffing the location. It was a busy day and only two people were working the whole location! Trucks were parked in the area going in/out of the lot so cars were backed up on the street.

Took me 2 hours to pick up my vehicle. Long line, not enough staff. My reservation was inexplicably cancelled in the store system even though I did not cancel it and could still view it on my account. They still gave me a vehicle which was nice. The staff was kind and understanding, but there needed to be way more staff and a more efficient pick up system.
