Didn't tie up the lights connection so I found out later it had been dragging. Request new light connection since this may now be altered.

Have someone go over the features of the vehicle (how to turn on/off specific lights, how to use the engine braking function while towing, etc.) when the vehicle is picked up.

You could carry stick on side mirrors for blind spots for vehicles. Otherwise seemed like everything was there and ready.

My husband didn't know how much gas to put in so he filled the tank. I asked about reimbursement, but the don't do that. So maybe in the future make it to where there can be reimbursements or knock money off the overall price for situations like that. Other than that, employees were really nice and very pleasant.

They notated that the tank was 5/8 full but it was only 1/2 full. However did not have a problem at dropoff because I spent the extra $ to bring it back 5/8 full. I feel U-Haul owes me $7

Had to go back to uhaul due to no brake lights or turn signals. Then got down the road and found I had no AC. Call uhaul and told them if there is a problem and he said not on their end. I hung up and drove 2500 miles with no AC. Make sure to check your truck before leaving. Do not trust that they pre-tripped your vehicle.

Grado:

I had to wait for the lights to be repaired on the tow dolly, however, it didn't take very long. When I went to use the dolly the ratchet on the drivers side was almost impossible to use and then when I dropped the vehicle off we almost had to cut the straps to free the vehicle. That ratchet needs to be replaced.

Store is good but charging me more that 70$ for a 47 mile trip from Redding, Ca to Weaverville, Ca is outrageous, come on $70 + for an enclosed 6X12 trailer. Talk about highway robbery. UGH

Broken tail light on the trailer first time through. Not a big deal, but could have been an issue if I hadn't noticed before leaving.

Grado:

The trailer we were given was in terrible condition. 15 mins into our move, the our electrical in our vehicle stopped working, the blinkers, the break lights, and the hazards all went out. We pulled over to see what was wrong, and then we got stranded as our vehicle wouldn't come out of park, due to the brake lights no longer working. The uhaul person who hooked up our trailer told us that this trailer may not be the best, but it met uhaul's standards and we could take it. It was the only 4x8' they had available, which is what we needed as a 5x8' would not work for parking at our final destination. We were promised that the 4x8' trailer was still safe and adequate for moving, so that's the one we took. When roadside assistance came to fix our trailer, they said the wiring on the trailer was in awful condition, which was making the electrical on our vehicle short out. After roadside assistance came and spent 2+ hours fixing our vehicle and the electrical on the trailer, he suggested that we switch out the uhaul trailers as the wiring kept falling apart anytime he touched it. However, the uhaul was closed, and we were under a timeframe, so we had to use the broken trailer. After roadside fixed our car, we got back on the road, and 20 mins later, the same thing happened. All of our lights stopped working and our fuses were all shorting out. We then knew we could not stop driving until we got to our final destination as we would once again be stranded.
