They messed up my whole package deal and they said they were going to fix it and didn’t they also said they were going to call me they didn’t do that either, and they add stuff on my package I didn’t want that was some else’s deal and didn’t fix that also I am highly disappointed in the service I received

I called Salisbury, MD location on 5/24 and booked a 10' truck for pickup at 7:30 am on 5/28. I went to that location and was told that had to pick up truck in Princess Ann and that they did not open until 9 am. I went to that location at 9am and was told that did not have 10' truck but they upgraded me to 15' but were charging me more. I advised that did not like the bait and switch tactics since had confirmation of my rental reservation. The person tried to reach someone but stated that she could not make the change to lower the price and if I wanted to rent the truck then would have to take the higher price. Since I was already behind schedule 3 hours and had moving help waiting on me I felt that I had no choice but to rent the truck otherwise I would have left. I definitely felt that I had been had based on this experience and left a message for the manager yesterday for a return call but never received a return phone call from them. I will be filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau office as well.

U haul rocks ! They are the best. No one likes moving but uhaul company and thier staff members made it easy and almost care free. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

Used the truck share 24/7 option online and truck was not assigned when I went to pick up early in the morning. Had to wait for scheduling office to open several hours later until they could resolve the issue. This caused major issues with my move and I was not able to accomplish the entire thing as originally planned. Site personnel were helpful in person and truck was cleaned and operated as it should. So if you are in need during regular business hours this location was great but the 24/7 truck share option did not work and caused a lot of issues.

Don’t throw in additional charges after the customer pays and leaves!! I was told I was paid in full, and now I owe $66 additional dollars, and no explanation of why I owe it? I’m not paying it without a valid reason, and I don’t care if it goes to collections. It’s pretty screwed up to tell someone they’re all paid just to charge them more days later.

Stop changing rates, we rented a 15 foot one week, the next week we rented a 10 foot traveled to the same location but was charged more money

pickup location was changed from original choice. not notified until the day before pickup scheduled. this change added 40 minutes of additional driving time to the 4 hours I drove from NJ to Salisbury MD to pick up the truck. with driving 4 hours to get the truck and then then load it and drive 4 more to bring the truck back to NJ - it would have been nice not to waste an additional 40 minutes more just to get the truck. with some advance notification of the location change we could have picked it up along the way to Salisbury MD rather than drive 20 miles past my destination.

The inside of the truck could have been cleaned better. It had a stale smell as if someone smoked cigarettes in it. The loading area was clean. The vehicle had several stickers on it which reflected the previous damages. The 1st lady that I dealt with was pleasant, I believe her name was Marie. The 2nd lady that I dealt with, Claire, she has horrible customer service, appears to be a know it all and I will personally not rent anything from this location again. I would forewarn you to take photos of the vehicle, the mileage and gas BEFORE you drive it and when you RETURN it because they tried to get me for gas! No, I don't think so, I take photos of everything and I returned the vehicle just as it were! I only went 19.4 miles! The only reason that I would recommend would be due to the fact that not every customer has the same experience as another.
