Maybe fix up the office inside and outside especially the entrance. It could use some improvement. To make it look a little bit more welcoming :) the guy that helped me was super friendly though.

The manager on duty is a jerk, he's rude and knows nothing about customer service. I did the pre check in and was the 2nd person in line. It took him 1 hour to check me in, then gives me a truck w no fuel, then speaks down to me. No way, if this wasn't the only Uhaul with a 15 foot truck I would have walked out. He's a short Asian dude with no customer service skills. Sat in his office during busy times until he was called out to help. Horrible experience. I'll never go to that location again. Horrific.
Nickel-and-dimed for every little thing and severely over-charged for fuel. The employee running the desk was very kind and helpful, but he was overwhelmed. He needed another employee to share the workload.
They were not ready on time, the location itself is just a trailer and is quite strange. The woman was taking pictures of my license on her personal phone. Definitely had better experiences at other locations. Also, woman wasn't wearing her mask properly.
I reserved at a specific location, got email confirmation to pick up at that location along with a confirmation number, showed up at that location right at pick up time and they had nothing for me. Thankfully I've heard terrible reviews of the system, so I was expecting frustration with the pick up/check in process. 14 minutes after my scheduled pickup as I'm sitting at the first location trying to figure out why they don't have me in the system, I got a text and email from U-Haul now telling me to pickup at a new location miles away. Actually picking up the truck was easy and the person working was wonderful. But the run around is ridiculous. Moral of the story: if you're known for complicated and misleading pick up process and your customers expect that from you, you're doing something wrong. Moving is such an incredibly stressful time as is, and this just added to it.
I reserved my van at a specific location due to my proximity. U-haul changed it with out telling me. The oil light was on. Needs an oil change. And I was over charged by $20. The switch - a- roo. Don't think I will be using U-haul again. Unless it is made worth my while. Enterprise picks you up and drops you off at their locations.

Your app experience is absolutely terrible. The fact that you're a franchisee run company with an a centralized app is nonsensical. If something goes wrong, as it did in my experience (the truck I booked was mistakenly given to another person) there is no way to correct or ameliorate through the app itself, causing (in my case) quadruple charges on my credit card. I also really really dislike the fact that I need to take a photo of my license and go through the whole rigamarole each and every time I rent a truck/van/pick up. Using your app makes me want to throw my $1,000 phone into a river. After using it several times for rentals, I can safely say that it has been removed from my phone and I will ONLY be booking directly through the dealer from now on.

When a customer reserves a dolly or one of the other several things to reserve, have it at your location and ready. When I was there they didn't know any information about my reservation and over charged me
This company is a fraud. I have all the photos of the vehicles. The dealer is a liar and admits that that location frauds people regularly. Do not rent from u-haul! Go with another moving truck company. Over charges. Rude. Lies about the final inspection but doesn't expect the customer to have a brain in their head to take before/after photos.
The truck itself was pretty dirty but I did put in this request right before picking up the vehicle. It ran very well and the staff were very accommodating as I had to extend the use several times.
Here's the deal: We signed up for everything online and when we arrived they didn't show us any kind of agreement and only after the fact did we realize they charged us for services we didn't request (safe ride insurance which I did not select at checkout, additional fees that were not stated online or in-person, etc.). Additionally, the guy told us to keep the Uhaul overnight because we couldn't drop it back off at that location after hours (had no idea they closed at 5pm). The next day they charged us for the additional day and an overnight fee which we had to call in to get refunded (it should be noted we came exactly at opening 9am like the previous guy had told us to). (They also didn't show us a receipt upon checkout but I only found out later when I checked my email.) Also the Uhaul itself smelled like someone had been smoking a crap ton of cigarettes in it which was pretty disgusting. And also, that location is just generally horrible. Not just because of the location itself, but there's an old car sitting out front, and what looks like an old defunct Uhaul that's where they store all of the add-on products. All-in-all a very disappointing, gross experience. Even though more inconvenient to us, we will be going to a different location next time if we even decide to go with Uhaul again. Massive bummer when we were using it to move a couch and bring donations to a local charity to be completely nickle-and-dimed.

Van was unclean, on the outside. Windows, FILTHY- Had to wipe them down to even drive away. No worries, the people there seemed quite busy and doing all they could. (Maybe understaffed due to someone calling in sick?) Some confusion as to where it was safe to park the van after hours, (and if I would face a $ penalty), but otherwise, I was grateful for the rental.
I think It would be very helpful for customers to be allowed to park the car inside since street parking is not free in the area
the truck was not cleaned out and we found the remnants of previous renters stuff in the car.

The girl who worked the counter was very nice but the truck was so dirty I couldn't see anything out of the side mirrors and the windshield was covered in bird poop and dirt. I left my moving blankets by mistake in the truck when I returned it. When I called the next day the guy behind the counter was not helpful or professional. He told me they weren't found, it wasn't possible they were left. I knew for a fact they were so went down, again he wasn't willing to help. Finally, I asked him to look up my truck number and if I could go check, they were in the back where I left them. I've used Uhaul several times and this wasn't a good experience. At this point I am going to look for an alternative.
Wash your vehicles. Earlier opening hours and later closing hours maybe 7am - 7pm.
