It was super busy when we went to pick up our truck, but the reps were so friendly and personable, I didn’t even notice the wait. They even helped me laugh at the fact that I forgot my wallet and my partner had to show his license and use his credit card. I really had a great experience.

The people were very helpful and courteous. However, the location/condition of this site was the worst I have ever seen. It i directly under the I-405 overpass in Portland, a pretty bad part of town. The size of the site is too small for the inventory. There was barely enough room to drive through the chain-link gate and back up to the trailer. Then I needed help backing out of the same fence back onto the street. Also, I needed to drive 20 minutes (each way) to another U-Haul location to have the ball reversed on the hitch. I don't understand why every site that rents trailers shouldn't be able to have the tools to do this. In the end, it took 90 minutes from when I first arrived until I was able to drive the trailer off the lot.

Despite attempting to return the vehicle prior to this location closing (3pm on Sunday when working hours are 9-5), the gate was closed. There was no instruction on where to leave the vehicle and the phone was not in order so spent 30 minutes calling UHaul and trying to figure out how to return the vehicle.

Maybe Hire someone on-call willing to come in when needed to help out. There should be more then 1 person working at a time during peak business periods.

Super unhelpful customer service representative who told us incorrect information and then basically made us solve the problem she created for us.

So I’m really frustrated because I reserved a 15’ truck for 5:30 and it routes me to a different location and was confirmed via email. When I showed up at the broadway location they had me in their system but explained they didn’t have a 15’ truck. I looked at my email and the app and their system had conflicting info on where to pick it up. The app told me the quimby location but ALL my emails showed me to pick up at the broadway location. I showed the clerk and he says this happens a lot. It set us back almost an hour and I want to bring this up because uhaul needs to be aware that their emails and app pickup information does not line up. The location was closed but luckily I could do the after hour pickup. Please fix this as it was not a great experience. No issues with any of the workers they were all helpful.

This location was under a bridge with no parking or area large enough to easily pick up trailers. When we returned the trailer, the location was closed with a sign on the gate that said 'Out to lunch, be back soon'. The employee arrived from lunch in a uhaul truck. She then had me move the trailer by hand to an available spot since the parking area was soooooo full and tight that backing it in was not an option. I literally had to move the trailer myself before she would check me out. A joke. Will not use this location again.

Ebony is the most valuable employee you guys will ever have, she has help us a ton and made our complicated move so smoothly, give her a raise because her customer service and handling things in a timely matter is top notch! She is an amazing person and deserves so much praise, you guys better show her some love!!!

I am a cripple and my friend helped move me. When he arrived at the place, I told him I have my credit card on reservation and you just need to pick up the truck.. That is not waht happened, he was told give me your credit card or you can't have the truck, rather than argue, he gave his card. HE WAS CHARGED TO MOVE ME. I am trying to have my card charged and the manager is going to return tomorrow. I do not know the outcome.

The woman who worked the front desk yesterday (8/28) was absolutely fantastic and very helpful! Great customer service!

Both times I went to the business they had closed early, like 10 mins. Wouldn't answer the phone. When they did, terrible customer service. There were several people all trying to figure our what to do. I will never return here again. Also I was on hold with customer service for 30 mins and nothing.

My location didn’t open till 8:30. The online reservation let me choose a 7:30 pick up when that wasn’t possible. I waited an hour outside for the shop to open... homeless people everywhere. No apology from the worker or any sort of remark when I mentioned it. Felt unsafe and not cared for. The company needs to fix the pick up times.

They closed the gate before 5 and stopped processing checkin s. Once their lot was full even though vehicles were still coming in and it was not closing. I got their at 4:59 and gate was shut so had to park on street.... and by time I was able to get inside gate she had shut off computer and would not check vehicle in. Parked outside gate and did key drop and ended up being charged late fee (after being told I would not be) and now have to wait for refund. Also Only one person processing checkout in the morning so long wait. Normally not a huge issue since I was not in a hurry... but if I am waiting 15 minutes in line to get you to check me out you can keep you gate open a minute or two past closing. (Or at least not close it before 5:00.... I had to go put stuff in my car and use both hands and all my weight to try to get the thing back open...

I was charged $9 for gas, after traveling 7 miles total. What is the mpg for the truck I rented. Why was I charged for 2 gallons of gas when I traveled 7 miles? Thank you.

Be transparent about mileage fees. My expected cost was double primarily because of per mile fees that were never explained. VERY Dissatisfied.

The staff member at this location seemed to be the only person on duty, and she did a truly excellent job getting everyone handled quickly, and with a smile. She deserves a bonus!!!

This location is very poor. Feels sketchy and I’ll taken care of. Junk cars in the lot and a mess everywhere. I was also double charged for some of the equipment I rented.. Never going to this location again.
