A nicer, well-staffed facility is desirable. Let me first say that the agent was very good and joyable to work with. But the location and quality of the facility is not up to par. Contrast with where I dropped off in the next section.

The overall virtual experience was a nightmare. I was there over 2 hours trying to check in.
Customer Service Rep was almost 13 minutes late getting there (to a locatioin that didnt even open until 11:30am). Truck information was not already in system although previously reserved. Rep was very slow however was very nice. Truck was clean.
Could not find the location at first. After I learn what to do using my mobile phone it was easy. A few issues kept saying system errors.
I donâ€™t know about the facility because I didnâ€™t not enter the building. The truck was old and damaged from previous use. I rented the truck extra days and they charged for the insurance every day. Will never rent one again.
It was very hot in the building and they were having some kind of computer problem so it took forever for them to check in the guy in front of me and then have me check out the truck. Its July in southern GA..you have to have AC. Then the truck had a broken mirror and the little red indicator that told you what gear you were in was broken so you could not tell if you were in drive or reverse or park..etc. Then the kicker was the checking back in process. what a joke. the time it took to check out the truck and then check it back is was ridiculous. I was late(3hrs) getting the truck back..but the place was closed all day so no one was checking it out after me and I was charged for another full day! I know you have 6 and 12 hr rental times, I feel like I got a crappy truck and a crappy deal. This is why my family always uses Budget. I should have listened to them!.
Have a truck in better condition and gas in the tank. Make sure the truckâ€™s key is In lockbox for truck share pickup.
I scheduled to pickup at a location close to my move. My pickup time and location was moved to another location. That location did not have the truck I was scheduled to pickup. I was diverted to this location 20 minutes further away. I was also required to return to the further location. Due to the scheduling changes and issues my planned AM start time was pushed back 3 hours requiring me to work in the hottest part of a 100 degree day. I was denied my request for a $50 credit for their reserve guarantee. I had extra fuel and mileage charges due to the change in pickup and return location that I will never get back. I have used Uhaul numerous times in the past but will highly recommend other truck and trailer rental services moving forward because of the experience and how it was handled by the customer service reps. I was hung up on before speaking to a rep twice when trying to figure out where my truck was while at the second pickup location and twice at completion of the rental. All 4 hangups were after waiting for several minutes to get through to a rep. Do not Go Uhaul.
U-Haul basically stole $200 dollars from me. I was charged twice for my rental. It took 2 days to finally reach customer service. Which was no help and simply told me to call my bank. I set up a dispute to get my money back and still have not received anything in over two weeks now. I will not ever use uhaul again and strongly discourage anyone else from doing so, unless they too want their money stolen and never compensated.

I was charged 140.00 for what was supposed to be around $40.00. I will be contacting the location to see how to resolve this issue.
Give knowledge to U-Haul vendors so that if a customer needs help resolving a issue the response is not call U-Haul. I had an issue with the free storage room for a month offer. I arrived to the storage room, which was an hour and half from my previous resident and another hour and half from my new resident, thatI selected to find out that the owners did not honor the free storage room for a month. I called the U-Haul facility I rented my U-Haul from to find the closest storage room that honored the free storage. The owner hung up on me and refused to answer my calls when I called back. I called the 1-800 number for U-Haul I was on hold for 30 minuets. Luckily a family friend had a space I could put my items because by the time the U-Haul representative gave us extra miles for our inconvenience to get to my new location I had already been standing out side the storage facility for an hour. It was on a Saturday and after I was given a response to my issue all the closest storage rooms were closed and none were open on sundays so that would mean I would have to buy another day on the U-Haul. I also ended up paying for a storage lock through U-Haul that I never got a refund back on. I called the 1-800 number to get a refund and no one never answered. My overall experience with U-Haul has left me wishing that I would have just let my friends with trucks help me.
This place didn't seem to inspect anything. There were half empty 2-liters in the cab, and a phone charger (mine now). The back had a couple piles of dust and little junk, and a big slat of wood probably left from a piece of furniture. Wasn't terrible, I guess, but definitely not clean. Plus the cab smelled like cigarette smoke doused in fabreeze. Blech. It settled enough after some driving to not be gross.

The vehicle is a piece of junk.The steering was very loose and sloppy and had to pump the brakes for them to work properly and safely.I would not recommend anyone to use this truck until it is checked out.Very unsafe.I should have used another company with the problems we had including trying to pick it up.We reserved it online and when we went to pick it up the system would not let us so the representative had to do it as a walk in.What good is it to reserve on line when it doesn't except it when you go pick it up.Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.
I was quoted one price then when I got there was charged more..rhe salesman even told me that he would note the account on the price that he gave me but when I did the return of the uhaul they found no notes! I will never use you all or refer any of my friends!
I was told truck was in Springfield GA but had to drive all the way to this location to pick it up. Which was way out of my way when I wanted to pick it up at Moore Storage in Rincon due to that is where my storage is located. Ask customer to check truck to make sure everything is ok. And have the R&D tags ready so customer doesn't have to wait. She was on phone when we got there so we had to wait until she got off to even start the rental.
There are no signs for anything. I wandered around the property and found an after hours uhaul sign (with no hours posted), on a loading dock behind a couple tractor trailers. I did not find a drop box, though the uhaul rep there said there is one. I kept the key since I couldn't find it. Nobody answered the phone until an hour and a half after opening. Finally got hold of someone and she was friendly and helpful. The place itself though, just needs some work to be representative of the uhaul name. At least put up signs that point you where to drop keys, and move the box to beside a door or something. All there was was a uhaul sticker on the side of the building, nothing else helpful outside. Kinda sketch for after hours drop offs. I was surprised.
the trailer was not at the location that the rep gave me and had to go to another town and was not open till 1100 am . they did not show up tp open till 1145 am. WHERE IS MY 50.00 DOLLARS I WAS PROMISED BY REP AT FIRST LOCATION
I had to wait an hour-and-a-half because the system was updating on the computer tried to express check in that still didn't work !!!!very incompetent staffing!!! Never again
