Adrianna exceeded my expextations for customer service. She went above and beyond. She is professional and very knowledgeable regarding all things Uhaul. I will definately use this location again in the future and recommend it to my family and friends as well.
I reserved a truck and an appliance dolly. I only needed to move a refrigerator. Went to pick up and was told there were no more dollies; first come, first serve.
I rent a lot of motorcycle trailers and their service is great!
The girl was very nice and cared about what I needed. Wish I could remember her name but all I know she told me she was 20 years old and insisted that I got the insurance for the uhaul. Very polite staff
Provide full requirements for renting vehicle over the phone instead of telling you last minute that you need proof of residence. And don't have a bad attitude.
The owner, David, and all of his staff were incredibly helpful and gracious during a difficult time for us. We are from out of state, had flown down to move my college boy out of his house because COVID has made return to school impossible. I had reserved a Cargo Van at a separate location, but found out upon arriving that I could not rent this with an out of state license and passport-GRRRR. I was referred to David's place by another helpful person-Isaac Gonzalez which made all the difference in turning a would be disaster around. EVERYONE was practicing safe interactions which also was reassuring. Thanks All!!
Very great customer service
Thank you so very much for everything!!!!
Truck was not cleaned with NO GAS (less than 1/4 tank) and with the gate stuck because of some asphalt type (or melted rubber) glue On the seal. I have to put gas and since I didn't know the consumption I over gassed what cost me an additional $35 in gas!!!!
Super friendly staff.
The customer service was great but the vehicle had ants coming from somewhere. This would be the only thing I would improve about this location.
Requested a utility dolly weeks prior to my arrival of pick up one of the uhaul personnel said they are upon first come first serve it was about 6 customers requesting the same utility dolly and none of us 6 customers were able to get one because they were all rented out bad service never again
Stop over charging the customer on milage. The truck was driven for less than 1 mile and I was charged for 2. Honesty and principles is what makes a business last forever. However when a company encourages their employees to over charge the customers by a dollar or two is unfair and definitely stealing.
Particular employee at this facility really brings the experience down. Arrogant and mean spirited. Have dealt with him twice; both times unprofessional. Latest rental was a towable trailer. I backed up and had the hitch 1/2 a ball diameter off. Made me reposition truck rather than slide trailer over. During return, same individual made us thread the trailer between another trailer and a box truck. Owning a boat made it a no brainer, but you could tell from his body language he was just trying to be vindictive towards the renter. Online reservation and verification system works really well. I'll likely drive further or use a different rental company in future. Employees name is Issac.
David went out of his way to get me a tow dolly, which I really appreciate. The one thing I would like to see them improve is cleaning the glass before giving a rental truck. The last 2 times the windshield, side windows, and side mirrors have been filthy. At least run the sprayer on the windshield before giving me the truck. Running a quick Windex towel on the other glass and mirrors would make it much safer to drive.
Very fast service and friendly workers!
I did the mobile pick up option. I put all of my information in for the rental the night before so all I would have to do was show up and check in. I got to the branch and the website said to go over to the van and check for dents, etc. I began to walk over and an employee said that I had to do the pick up inside and that even with mobile pick up I still have to go inside. So I go in and he asked if I finished with the website and I said no because he told me to come inside. He made me just keep clicking next and I didn't even get to check the van for dents, etc. After doing all that, he double checked my info and asked for my ID. He said I could not rent a van in Pomona because I have a Los Angeles Drivers License. After filling out rental info the night before and spending 15-20 mins with this guy, he THEN decides to say I can't rent because my ID is from 25 miles away. I had to call my friend and he came and “rented†the van for me. This new employee then said it didn't matter who drove the van, so I ended up driving it anyway even though they just said I can't rent it. The new employee took photos of me and my friend and then I gave him my card and we checked out. He gave me the keys and said, “oh by the way, that dolly you rented, we don't have it.†Why would he tell me this after now being there almost 30 minutes and two different people going through all of the details. Tell me at the beginning when you're looking through my reservation, not 30 minutes later after I've already paid you. He told me to take one of the ones that was for sale and said the truck was waiting outside.
William Schrader is was so helpful and professional! Wow! We would come back again whenever we need to move things. Initially we rented a 10 ft truck, but as he pulled it up we realized it was a little too small. So we asked if we can exchange it for a larger one. He was very understanding and helped get us a larger one and drew up a new contract. Then when we got back he helped us out again! Thank you William!
From the start of our visit, we were not greeted very cordially- “Wait there. Someone will be with you†blandly. While waiting, we could hear workers just outside chatting with the f-word punctuating comments. My husband and I are teachers, so we have heard lots, but it struck me as quite unprofessional. The gentleman who came to help us had an “owner†label on his name tag and no mask during this pandemic we're facing. He was very matter of fact and almost deadpan in terms of getting our order situated. All the while, he was smiling at what he could hear the co-workers saying. At one point, he said in his microphone (I assume to the workers), “The big boss is coming your way. No really, it's the big boss.†When this gentleman walked us out to get our rental, he didn't tell us where to wait, so we started to follow him until he started weaving through rentals. I went back to the front of the store, but my husband stayed by the other rentals and was passed by when our rental was driven to the front. He said, “Here you go,†and not being familiar to the process, we asked about gas. He said curtly return it to the level of gas it starts with and left without thanking us for our business. Upon our return of the rental, another unmasked employee barely said two words to us while checking the rental back in and acted a bit like we were an annoyance. That didn't surprise me as that type of behavior and low expectations have been modeled to employees. I'm shocked overall at this well known business's lack of professionalism, the utter lack of respect to clients, and the disregard for the general heath and safety of the public.
The truck was a little old, but it worked just fine for my purpose.
The customer service here was above expectations. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The truck I was assigned was filthy, not that I care about the exterior of a truck I'm using for a move; but it had several scratches on it that weren't documented on the damage waiver, and there was a sticky substance that may have been paint splatters on it. Since such a big deal is made out of the return condition of the vehicle, I spent close to 15 minutes documenting all this on my own. Additionally, engine warning lights came on. indicating that the truck needed an oil change, no big deal, but also that the fuel intake valve needed to be checked. I called customer service regarding this, and they were incredibly helpful, but I'm grateful I had a very short move.
