There was a language barrier which made it difficult to pick up the truck at that location. Once we were able to get past that, it went smoothly

I didn't have the best experience with uhaul. I ordered initially at domsgulf close to my home. They didnt pick up the phone when I called and was worried from the get. When I went there, they had a sign on saying open, but no one was there. I was then on the phone with customer service standing in the cold for about half an hour. I then had to walk to a new location to pick up a truck, luckily a neighbor saw me about a mile in and gave me a ride. The 900 sleepy hollow person was great. I ended up having to get the truck for an extra day because I thought id be cutting the return time close. The truck itself seemed okay, but im not sure how well the transmission is working. It was having trouble switching gears and only did so around 3500 rpms when entering the highway and drastically jerked when downshifting on a downhill. When I returned the truck, the app wouldnt work for me, and i chatted in the cold w customer service for about 15 minutes before I gave up. I just dropped the keys off and left without proper checkout. I put 6 gallons of gas in after driving it and still got charged a gas fee of $8. Im guessing it got about 6-7 mpg, maybe this is normal or maybe it was due to the quality of the truck. Ive had much better experiences in the past with uhaul.

Besides there being furniture padding all over the back of the van, there wasn’t a loading ramp(the mount for it was there, but the ramp was missing), and I was over charged twice. The app quoted one price, the distributor quoted a different price, and I was charged the highest price...twice. So not only was the vehicle in poor condition, they stole money from me with a smile like I couldn’t see what they were doing

Equipment can be clean, but not so much well maintained. The truck drove very nicely - tires balanced, great alignment no tires out-of-round, but when braking above 45 mph the entire truck nearly shook itself apart. NOT safe.

I got pulled over twice because of your equipment. The strap was broken and the right light was out. I have rented from U-Haul before and never had this much of an issue. Extremely dissatisfied.

When I received my rental vehicle the gas meter was far less than what was on the contract. I called 5 minutes after leaving, but they had stopped answering the phones due to the location just closing, understandable. I dropped the vehicle off after hours, and filled the tank up to where it says it was on the contract, which was wrong, and figured the manager would make it right the next day. The next day I called to speak with the manager. I notified him that I took a picture of the gas meter minutes after leaving to prove that the meter was not where they had stated it was, but I had filled it there out of good faith. He stated, and I kid you not, "What do you want me to do about it? We didn't charge you extra for fuel." Well, obviously you didn't charge me extra for fuel because I paid more than what I should have! I then said "I'd like to be reimbursed for my excess fuel costs which I can prove to you," and he once again said "But, we didn't charge you extra." Of course they didn't! That's because I paid MORE based off of their incorrect data entry. I would NOT recommend this location to a single customer regardless of the situation. Steer clear of this location.

Hell this location. I was charged $21 just because location was closed when I dropped even tho I was supposed to drop after hours. I was told to do mobile checkout, I did and submitted 8 times total but every time I submit it says error occurred, it was their fault and I got charged. Wow

The picking up the vehicle was terrible. Had to ask for insurance and have the employee go out with me to the vehicle and look it over for damage. I asked questions and the employee said “no one’s asked me questions before, just jumped in and drove off” Beware and ask questions...employee was in major need of more training.
