The steering was very “loose”, requiring significant turning of the wheel for small responses. Didn’t feel safe. The mobile checkout when picking up the vehicle is inefficient and inconvenient. The request for additional contact info to verify identity during the pickup is rude and demeaning; I recommend uhaul work on a better method of accountability.

Although the complaint isn’t with this return location, another location I tried to return the trailer to around 5:45pm (only location open after 5pm on Sunday) didn’t accept trailers due to no way to secure. It’d be nice to know which locations can’t accept certain types of equipment, and it’d also be nice to have 24hr returns on all equipment.

Love U-haul!! Will not patronize ever again!! The facility and equipment was spot on brand... innovative, and excellent. U-haul's proprietary equipment is wonderful, the experience, thought and effort to maximize safety and convenience in appreciated and admired. Few other industry leaders can rival the ingenuity and cohesiveness of the U-haul operation. Additionally, the folks that helped me at the facility were great. That said; I am not sure that I'll patronize U-Haul in the future. The reservation process and ultimate FAILURE to deliver the equipment I required. Following a half a dozen (unbearably frustrating) phone calls, repeating myself to varied clueless reservation agents, asking for and receiving assurances that what I needed was available, informing the "call center agent" each time of the time criticality of my situation, and the importance of my not wasting time driving to a facility that could not accommodate me. I was informed that the facility staff was aware of my requirements and timing (15 - 20 minutes prior to close), and that they would have what i needed ready to go. Upon arriving, the very affable assistant manager somewhat curiously informed me that I was the third person in the past couple of days looking for a tow dolly, an item which this location didn't have available for me or any of the other customers who'd inquired recently! The reservation agents were so intent on getting my credit card number that it was apparent they had no concept or consideration of what I was saying or needing. When I realized that I may not be getting understood, I asked the agent to get me the number for the actual facility i was directed to so that I could double check availability. I called the number I was given and after some additional run-around finding my reservation, I was again assured that they had the item and a place to leave it until I could return with my truck after hours to pick it up. When I arrived at the facility and was greeted by the manager who informed me that the unit was not available, only to discover that the person assisting me on the phone was not actually speaking to someone on the premises. What should have been a pretty straightforward rental was made incredibly frustrating and left me feeling that I had to some extent been mislead in order for U-haul to secure the sale.

My girlfriend and I were really unsatisfied with the 17 foot truck that we were provided Not only was a suspension and Alignment shot on it it was a gas hog we ended up putting a total of 80 miles on the truck and we had to put $40 worth of gas back in it to basically get to where we were back on the fuel gauge which honestly is ridiculous... my girlfriend was even watching the gas friendly green light that you guys provide on it so we should have been getting good gas mileage but honestly I think with the suspension in the alignment the way it is that was the major issue I did bring this to the person's attention when we were returning and he snickered and said that they return this truck to service plenty of times and they always give it back and say there's no problem maybe they actually need to fix it especially if this has been an ongoing issue it definitely ended up costing us way too much money and gas for the amount of miles we use... we really would like a return phone call and some type of compensation for this.. even some type of credit back to my girlfriend's credit card would be greatly appreciated because spending $40 worth of gas for 80 miles is ridiculous... I will say you're stores customer service is great the guy that helped us out on the phone was excellent as well as the people that were in the stores we just really think these trucks need to be more on par they really should have somebody drive the vehicle that we use and take it on the freeway so they can see what we're talking about...

Everything was great! Service was fast, friendly and professional. All equipment was clean and in good condition. Pick-up and drop-off procedures were easy and performed in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this U-Haul location!

Trailer was dirty on the inside. I had to sweep it out myself. I have a picture of how much dirt and sand that was in it if you want. I’m a repeat customer to this facility. Customer service was well below the norm for them.

We were charged $20 for fuel even though we filled it back up to where it was at when we received it. We should have taken a picture but didnt think we would need proof. I sent an email to uhaul with my concern and they never responded.

This was by far the best uhaul location I have been to. They have customer parking, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and an easy checking in and out process. Too bad that not all the uhaul locations in the Phoenix area are not like this one. The only issue I had is that the 15' truck had some alignment issue it seemed and was a bit difficult to drive. Everything else was perfect. And the price was very fair also.

Update your web page! The web site offers pickup truck for $19.95 per day plus .59 cents per mile. I was charged .69 cents per mile. At 137 miles I paid much more than expected.
