Was an hour late returning the truck and got charged for a full day. Can't this be prorated in some way. Seems a bit disportionate.

I asked if there was parking around the building and I I could renew it every 2 hours via the app. The woman literally could not care less and told me it was not her problem and that I should 'just get a ticket or drive home and uber back'. I think there may have been something wrong with her. The owner (also very weird) defended her and then threatened to not let me rent the van because I told her that was information that maybe would be helpful to their customers. Just a complete lack of caring (mind you there were like 10 spots on the one side of the building that she could have suggested I check). Also, the online pickup process was completely messed up and didn't work...which then in turn screwed up the process of charging my card in the store. The owner took my card for about 5+ minutes just trying to get it to work. Avoid this place.
Front seats of our rental van were absolutely disgusting with dog or cat hair. It tells me that during a time in a pandemic, they are not cleaning these vehicles properly. I always rented from a different location but this one is closest to my home now. I will never rent from here again.
Low tire pressure light was on upon receiving the vehicle.

There needs to be some contingency plans from a national level for UHaul for a lot being full. This is the second time I've rented a truck and ended up returning to a full lot, with customer service telling me there was no way to change the drop off location and leaving it up to me to find metered parking until the next morning. Had I not called and made sure it was moved after I dropped it off, I would've been charged towing as well. I don't understand how there isn't a national strategy for lots being full, to direct someone to another lot or to reserve more parking space for the trucks. I am grateful to my customer service representative for doing the best she could but the fact that she was not supported by UHaul with a strategy to figure out how to resolve the situation was poor work by UHaul
Not enough staff. Long line. I checked in online and still waited more than 30 min
Customer service and support was lacking. The staff though they completed the tasks lacked courtesy and general customer service skills. My rental was not operating properly upon pickup but I had to bring it to the attention of the staff.
Missing equipment and still no refund

Actually get the order correct-- don't leave out the dolly and furniture pads that the customer prepaid for. Don't let your mask fall halfway off your face while talking to customers and then do nothing about it. Relatedly, don't disappear into the manager's room and then emerge with no mask on and act like nothing is wrong. Actually unlock the padlock of the back of the truck before loaning it to the customer, or at least give the key of the padlock to the customer. Pick up the phone. When the customer comes back to your location in person for the key because you can't pick up your phone, provide it to her instead of arguing with her about whether or not you gave it to her. Keep track of which key goes in which lock on which vehicle so you don't ask the customer to drive the UHaul back across the city just so you can unlock it because you don't know which key goes in it without trying ALL YOUR KEYS in the lock. Don't deny you were the one that helped your customer earlier when the customer saw you an hour ago and specifically complimented your distinctive manicure. Don't have every single employee at the location make bizarre excuses about why they don't have their spare keys with them (e.g. "I left them in my car and I left my car back at home today"-- WHY ARE YOUR WORK KEYS IN YOUR PERSONAL CAR???).
The manager/assistant manager are the only people who know how to run the place. Everyone else depends on them to get their job done. The result is that customers are waiting in line 30+ minutes with only 1 or 2 people in front because the manager/assistant manger are doing other people's job. Also, I was charged twice for the insurance on my rental.
Fix the gas gauges and enter the correct vehicle mileage
Usually its hit and miss on customer service - but this branch's personnel were very courtesy!
Staff wasn't personable and ignored the questions I was asking, I requested my account to be closed as I was moving out of my unit and no one took cars of it now I have a bill for the month of October!
The gentleman was very nice and helpful. We had issues with our storage and I was unaware of the additional $10.00 charge.
If you require customers to wear a mask (as you should), make sure your staff abides by the same safety protocol! Both times I went, staff were either not wearing a mask or wearing a mask below their mouth and nose. What's the point??
Everything went smoothly except the Dolly I was given had only 3 functioning wheels. I did not realize until I was already in the middle of my job.
I was overcharged. This is a problem. Still waiting for someone to contact me.
