The parking spaces were too tight to do all the photos that you require for the return. Where I live is not close to Pensacola it is closer to Orange Beach Alabama so I tried to call and have my drop off location changed to the Orange Beach Pensacola location. I called and spoke with them. They said that that was fine on their end but I had to call 1-800 U-Haul so I did that today and the gentleman that I spoke to then transferred me to scheduling then a lady answered, and I told her that I wanted to change my drop off to Orange Beach and I had already spoken with them and that that worked for them she was rude and said that there’s way more to it than that then she goes this is for a rental for Florida drop off. I am in Alabama and hung up on me so I have had a horrible awful Customer Service experience.

Larry UUnbelievable. In the hood. Drugged-up people staggering around the street. Truck was completely out of fuel. Low fuel warning light on. I had ordered 5 dozen pads and he had ZERO. I had to drive to a full service U-Haul location to get pads. HORRIBLE location! Then U-haul has the AUDACITY to charge me extra because I supposedly went 30 miles over my allotment. The guy must've recorded the outgoing miles wrong, because we came stright to our destanation. I had to go out of my way to get the pads and fill up the truck before I could do anything.
Bernhard HIt was an extremely run down and unsafe location, we found fake nails and hair in the back of the u-haul. We also had several issues with the mileage/gas levels not being correct which caused us to have to reach out to support several times. Which in turn put us behind schedule an hour as well as the drop off which resulted in extra charges for miles/gas that was left previously, it was resolved but extremely unnecessary.
JOHN WNot necessarily the pick up location that was the problem but the fact that we went to several U-Haul locations due to our reservation (made weeks in advance) having an issue with the rental being returned on time. Scheduled for 9 am and finally able to pick up the one single truck that was available at the Pace location after driving all over for an hour and a half. This meant the paid crew wasn’t able to load the rental for almost an hour. Very stressful when you’re on a timeline moving a disabled relative from FL to MO. Some type of credit would be most appreciated . We’ve rented U-Haul trucks locally many times without any issues .
