Our UHaul was dirty on the inside. I had less than a 1/4 tank of gas. Our furniture pads were not placed in the back. We went back to get a dozen and only got a half dozen. Not sure if we were charged for it. Sadly not a very good experience.

It took close to an hour to rent a car transport trailer. It wouldn't be a big deal if they had been busy but I was the first in line when I walked in. Totally disorganized and under trained staff. When I returned to drop it off they sent me outside with another employee, parking lot was crowded and he pointed in a direction and walked off. I looked around for assistance saw three different people standing around looking at there phones and another off to the side just chatting with someone. I looked at them for help, they all looked at each other and went back to what they were doing. I proceeded to drop the trailer myself in the middle of the lot for them to deal with and went back inside. Only plus side was I got $20 off my bill but I think that was only because I made feelings known loud enough the rest of the customers could hear. In closing, if there is another U haul location 10 miles further away from you than this one go there it will be faster and probably better service.

The truck broke down. Battery went dead. When I called the place of rental they gave me a roadside assistance number which I called and was on hold forever. I finally got somebody to give me a jump.



Better signs or explanation about returning rentals after hours. Was confusing.

Front desk employees are not able to provide quick customer service. What I found was one employee managing the floor, propane fill and phones. They could use 1 more person to assist with customers. What I saw was the crew mostly working in the yard moving vehicles around. Perhaps a bit under staffed.

The prices are ridiculous. Why do I pay a vehicle rental fee, plus $1 a mile, and have to fuel it back up? Seems like I was being triple charged. Maybe some explanation of why these fees are there would clear things up

The guy who checked me in didn’t check in my auto hauler that was attached to the truck. I got a call saying that I needed to return this. The girl who called was nice and called me back as I asked to let me know what happened.

#1 Thing reduce the wait time, every time I go I have to plan for being in line for a ridiculous amount of time. The 24/7 truck rental service is a joke as I had to wait in line for 25 minutes to get a key. I choose the 24/7 service since I knew I would be waiting in line for at least 30 minutes if I picked up the truck from an agent.

This place could use some serious customer service training. I have rented from this location once before and it was the same bad experience. I called to confirm my reservation for a truck and they had the correct info then, when I got there they said that I reserved a van. I showed my confirmation text that said 10’ truck so they needed to fix it. The employees were joking inappropriately in front of me. I asked for the 14$ insurance and was charged 28$. They are rarely polite or nice to talk to. I have worked in customer service for 12 years and I could never imagine talking or acting the way they do in front of paying customers. Will go to a different location for future rentals.

Your customer service at this location was terrible



Service was extremely slow for pick up of equipment. I arrived at the location around 9:15 to pick up the truck I had reserved, and another customer was in the store. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come out and help us. Three other customers had arrived before someone came out to help everyone. The person in line behind me said that customer service at the location has not been good when he has rented there in the past several times, but that he goes there because the location is the only one in Pasco that has the best variety of equipment and vehicles. The person helping me rent the truck was courteous, quick, and efficient once he helped me. The person who got the truck for me was courteous and ensured the truck was clean and working well. The truck met our needs for driving from Pasco to Seattle and moving items back to West Richland. The check engine light came on halfway back from Seattle to Pasco. When I dropped off the truck, the person at the counter did not greet me, did not ask how the move was (whether or not the truck worked okay, any issues), and was reluctant to receive the key from me for some reason, but she did not communicate why, despite my asking twice. It was an awkward customer service experience. I have had good experiences with U-Haul over the years, but this location seems to be lacking leadership in terms of coaching staff on how to interact with customers and how to provide good customer service. The selection of moving equipment and vehicles is great at this location, and with proper management of personnel to provide adequate to good customer service, respectfully, it could be a good location that I would recommend to friends and family.

When I scheduled my truck, I scheduled a 10' truck at a location in Kennewick. I shortly after received a notification that my truck would be at this location in Pasco. When I went to check my profile on your website, I saw that I also was getting a larger truck. The larger truck was a hindrance, as it was significantly larger than needed and required me to pack the truck loosely. When I asked about why my reservation had been changed both in location and in size, the guy at the counter avoided my question and said it had to do with availability. That's crap. The truck size I requested was available when I requested it. I still don't know why I had to drive to another town to get my truck in the wrong size.

U haul workers need to let customers know where the dolies for large items are. Me and my boyfriend had moved 4 items that where heavy to our unit before I asked where I could get some thing to make it easier. The lady that was using the maitance closet showed me where they where. The rest of our move in was easy after that.
