I had to clean out truck which I did not have to do before . Was not told that I had to sweep out the back prior and there was nobody outside to receive truck

Long line to rent trailer. Waited nearly an hour. Very inefficient one person operation. But the rep was friendly and apologetic.

There was only one person checking people out and she was having computer issues, so I figured it was going to be a long process. But, the manager came out to help me, which was a welcomed surprise. He was a gruff no nonsense gentleman which I really appreciate, but some may not. Anyway, he got me through all the paperwork and off to the lot I went to pick up my auto transport trailer. The yard man was a very nice and helpful gentleman who got us hooked up and on our way quickly.

Christopher was great in getting me set up to tow my vehicle back to Atlanta. The need to tow the vehicle back was unexpected but Christopher was very helpful, making an anxious experience, much easier.

I was wrongly charged for damage. When I picked up the cargo van, the door creaked, which I thought was because it was not oiled. I inspected the van before I left but did not notice that behind the driver's door, a previous renter had dented in the panel. I noticed this when I arrived at my destination. Being the honest person that I am, I pointed it out when I returned the van the next day, stating that I had not done it and that it was easy to miss in an inspection. They charged me for it. I was very disappointed because a manager did not address my concerns and walk out with me to view it (it was very busy). I have photos. I paid the $150 but will not rent from U-Haul again, even though I have a need. I do not feel that their inspections are thorough. They are very, very busy.

I have rented the same type trailer since my son started college. This time when I tried to rent, the lady I talked to could see my name and past history in the system, but insisted that before she rented to me that I get the ball weight, hitch weight etc. When I tried to explain that nothing had changed and that I was using the exact same vehicle, she said she had to have that information before renting. My dad called about 30 minutes later to rent for me and there were no problems. He did not need any additional information. He was told they could see my previous rental (May 2018) and there would be no problem. He was on the phone less than 5 minutes. Not sure what to think???? Other than that, the process was easy and the equipment useful.

If, the truck I rented was a horse you’d shoot it. The gear box was fubarred. Every gear was shifted one to the right. The rolling door was out of whack too. Tori and I had a good laugh, so that made up for it!

I’ve used uhaul many times in the past. The truck wasn’t as clean as usual and the visor kept falling. I paid for a dolly which wasn’t in the truck and when I called, no one ever called me back. It put me in a huge bind and cause me to use mileage that I didn’t plan and also caused me to keep the truck longer than anticipated. I called again to see about keeping it another night and was transferred. I held for 30 minutes and no one ever picked up. Both people that I spoke with were incredibly rude. I’ve never had this experience with uhaul before. I wasn’t offered any kind words or compensation for yalls failure to have the dolly onboard due to the incredible inconvenience that this caused me. I’m very disappointed in this experience. I’ll be moving again in the near future and will be shopping with other rental companies. Seems like uhaul would offer some sort of compassion and go out of their way to provide good customer service. I didn’t get either.

Guy taking in returns this afternoon was a complete jerk . Will never rent from this location again . Made multiple attempts to figure out what I needed to do to return the trailer I rented as my wife was going into labor and I was in a hurry to drop off and go to the hospital . I asked the worker twice what I needed to do to return and the first time he ignored me and walked off and the second time he just said you owe 40 dollars and some cents of which I paid for the day before . Didn’t get a return receipt and again was absolutely livid with the way I was treated . If I didn’t have my family waiting for me at the hospital I would have filed this in person and had some choice words for your employee with zero respect for customers . This is not how daily operations should be handled . For uhual and the owners sake please inform this gentleman that his actions would/could create a serious problem for people with less self control than what I exerted today . Absolutely ridiculous. Never again !!

Check in was quick and efficient. We discovered we had been charged one too many days but the clerk refunded the overpayment We reported the leakage. I trust U-haul will have the truck repaired.

thorough check of vehicles - mine had a tire with a hole I could put my hand through but the young lady walked passed it. Things tend to become routine and we slack off a little - it's human. But safety first, always!

Have a rental agent that is friendly and helpful...not rude. The truck was not mechanically maintained. The tires were unsafe and recapped. The truck threw the recap around 6pm which resulted in many calls to customer service. Service was finally provided at around 1am on the dark side of the road in Central Alabama by a dude who didn't know which way to turn the lugs to get them off. He dropped the truck off the jack three times nearly crushing himself. If not for equipment we had on our truck that we could make available, we would still be sitting there. The trip had a critical timeframe and these complications delayed delivery of the furniture by 12 hours costing us extra for unloading personnel at the destination.
