The whole process took extremely long due to old and or slow computer equipment. The guy helping me was very nice and apologetic, however the owner was there as well but could have cared less and actually left in the middle of the employee helping me struggling to get the reservation to load. No apology from her, or effort to help her employees. Nobody really seemed to care or want to be there. This seems to be a common trend across several uhaul stores I've been to.

The clerk that told me if I had a credit card It would make her day a hell of a lot easier.. like I'm the person that needs to please the worker? I am a customer and was treated like I am bothering the woman for her having to count a draw down just how every other worker does ... don't make customers feel like a burden it is unprofessional and poor customer service only reason you get paid is because of people like me.
The hitch lockdown threads were stripped. The agent attempted to fix it but was unable. So I was given another trailer instead. Also the return area is very limited and there were 3 trucks lined up to be inspected and that had us waiting in the street to get onto the property... very dangerous.

Our truck was not clean, there was a nail in the trailer tire, we had to replace a valve stem in a trailer tire, we had to put power steering fluid in the truck, we aired the tire on the trailer 4 or 5 times. We were given paperwork that said the fuel level was at a level that it was not. It was an absolute horrible experience! We have used uhaul many times and this is the first time we have ever had so many problems. When we went to return the truck, we were supposed to have it back by 7, the place didn't open until 8. No one showed up until after 830. We were charged an extra day and now have to go through a whole process to get our money back and hopefully get money back for all the stuff we had to do to the truck and trailer. I do not recommend this place. We were also supposed to pick our truck up at 730am and they did not have it hooked up and ready to go and didn't end up leaving with the truck until almost 820!
We waited 3 different times to get our equipment, it took us approximately 2hrs to finally get the truck and dolly checked out to us, even after reserving it all online. Was charged twice for the appliance dolly and double charged the entire rental, mileage, and equipment after turning in. I plan on returning to this location and getting everything corrected. Well over all not bad. I had to go buy a hand truck because when I got the truck to the house there was no dolly and no one offered to reimburse me for the inconvenience of the hand dolly. I am on a fixed income and that hurt the wallet. The dolly was almost the cost of the truck rental. The are a main uhaul rental area so making sure the dolly is there is pretty important. The front desk people were great while renting and supplies as usual were in shock. Just wish this time the dolly would have been there as I was on a time schedule and it made it inconvenient for me. I was pleased at the fact people at front desk while getting the truck were polite and had a smile on their faces. They were extremely busy and handled it well.
The way you can approve is by standing by your word. I I said I needed a uhaul from Gallatin, TN to Panama City Beach, FL When we tried dropping in Panama City Beach we were told they didn't want it because they had too many... Honestly that's not my place! Y'all can shuffle them around amongst yourselfs. We had to drive 45 mins one way out of the way In Friday 5pm traffic!
Extremely wonderful friendly and helpful staff! The equipment looked like it was time to retire it. It smelled like OdoBan on top of smoke and sweat. there were chips in the paint and dings and Bondo, and cut seats, amd the tire sensors were on the entire time. It was very functional, it just needs some service.
The 10' panel truck and car towing trailer were excellent in application and ease of use.
We got there , guy said we where 5 minutes later and could not check us in , or give information on the free 10x10 storage unit that come with the rental nor the other 10x10 I had reserved.. call 1-800 go U-Haul three different times talk to three different people got three different answers ended up having to rent another unit through U-Haul that ended up being 10 miles away in another city and then that unit the storage place was not communicate with U-Haul it was already rented and took an hour to get another room rented at a higher price.. and then had to drive back to the U-Haul center to deliver the truck... I was very unhappy with the whole U-Haul experience in the room rental truck rental was fine. ...I filed a complaint with U-Haul and they said it would take 72 hours for someone to get back with me.. U-Haul is also wanting to charge me $50 for a quarter tank of fuel that I failed to put back in the vehicle
I dropped off here and then picked back up at this location. All (3) employees I dealt with were knowledgeable and helpful.
I reserved a truck at a location near the site I would be moving specifically to avoid your outrageous mileage charges. When I arrived, I was told to drive back to town to another location for my truck. As a result, I was charged over $50.00 in mileage going to and from the moving site. When a customer reserves a truck at one location it should be there or - at least, the customer should not have to pay the extra mileage incurred because the reserved truck was not at the proper location. When I suggested this the response was â€œThe mileage starts from where you pick up the truck. Do you want it or not?â€
Ask for your receipt. I dropped off a car transport on September 26th, was told by a hitcher the receipt would be emailed to me. I go into quarantine on Tyndall AFB the same day. I received the receipt on October 8th showing the car transport was returned on September 29th and was charged the additional late fees for that amount of time. Today, I picked up and returned a car dolly and was told the receipt would be emailed by the exact same hitcher. And to avoid the latency which would stack up additional charges to my bank, I parked and went inside to ask for my receipt. The hitcher had not closed the contract. I explained my previous experience, and was told by the same hitcher, who processed both returns, of my situation and asked if he remembered when I returned the car transport. Edward then stated it was probably someone else. He closed the return of the car dolly in front of me, and printed a receipt for my records.

The folks at the 1000 W 15th St location are outstanding. They are always friendly and helpful. When I picked up the my latest trailer it was pouring down rain. I regret that I didn't ask the young man who hooked the trailer for his name because he deserves a huge thanks. He hooked everything up in the rain and never complained or lost his sense of humor. A real professional!

problems occurred apparently due to how drop off location was input or not input into the system by the pick up location agent. The people at the drop off location were very helpful during a particularly busy time. They solved the problem, kudos to them
Charged my card 40.00 for gas we returned wit almost 3/4 tank exactly where it was when we picked up in Forney Tx. And they charged my card...not acceptable will be declining charges!!
Train employees better
They were very friendly and very informative. They told me to just leave the key in the truck and they will take care of the rest of it so we dropped it off left the key and was on our way.
