The woman working there was unfriendly and surly. When we returned the truck, the office had a sign stating she was walking the property. The phone number listed on the sign was not answered and a record message said the mailbox had not been set up. We waited 15 minutes (another customer was also waiting and not happy), we finally left the key at the door and left. Not very professional

I asked at the time I rented the truck what I could expect for gas milage. The person renting me the truck asked where I would be driving and I said mainly on the freeway at 65 miles per hour. I was told to expect about 15 miles per gallon since I was on the freeway and had a head wind going the the work site I figured the truck would get less MPG so put in 5.2 gal because I thought some where between 11 and 12 MPG was more likely. The actual MPG turned out to be only about 9 miles to the gallon. I think your help should be more in tune with reality as this cost me a few extra $. Other than that the truck was good and was what we needed to get the job done. John Wilcox

It was ridiculous. My manager Tabatha went to your Ramon location to rent a truck. She was using my debit card which was confirmed with me by email. She was then sent to another location to get the vehicle where the key was in the office. Nobody was there. Worse, when I called your "customer service" person said that the online app did not work because it was my card being used. In truth, that was irrelevant because the key was not in the lockbox! This took 1 1/2 hours of wasted time with people waiting at the site of the move. The key was in a locked office with nobody manning the office! He showed up for work late or was not scheduled to be there, whatever. It was a waste of time and money.

The door to the rear of the truck was open when I arrived. Which was early, ahead of office hours. The bed had some garbage in it but not a great deal. The cabin to the truck was unlocked and the system failed as I was trying to send fuel and odemeter readings as part of the mobile check out process and all I got was a message to try again later which is a bit of a smack in the teeth when I’ve booked a truck early to complete a set of tasks in line with my project needs. I also ordered blankets which were not there or if they were they had been taken by someone else. The blankets were refunded but that doesn’t help with having to change my plans to stop and get blankets elsewhere. All up I’d say I’d not use the pre office opening option again. I’ll try for renting during staffing hours and see how it goes. I know some days are just bad luck days so I’d not go elsewhere just yet.

I had a 1:45 reservation, the office was closed from 1 :30 when I got there until 2:45 when I came back. Sign said office hours 9 -6. When I finally got the truck it was filthy, trash in the cab,windshield I could hardly see out of and the cargo area dirty. All in all a bad experience, oh yes, gas tank not full. I'm waiting for someone from regional office to call. I was assured of a call by 2 tomorrow. Very bad representation of the Uhaul brand. I will let anyone know about my experience, 2 thumbs down. 0 stars.

How can you improve on the best customer service provided by David ( manager) and Luna ! They were so helpful and accomodating. I have rented before from Storquest and will rent again. SO EASY and EFFICIENT on the stresses of moving !

Seriously, offer customer the option to PAY for the vehicle cab to be cleaned. it was filthy, smelled and well was cleaned by me for an hour or so before using the truck. PLEASE review out initial reaction to the Indian canyon drive location in PS where our reservation was initially set. Close it down.

I was charged $15 for gas. I rented the truck for 24 hours but turned it in within 6 hours, not asking for a discount and certainly not expecting to be charged $15 for barely $5 worth of gas usage because it was not back at 1/2 tank as picked up, but about one step below it. A more fair way to treat a customer in a case like this would be to simply pass on such a charge when a truck is turned in 18 hours early, allowing you to rent the truck to someone else (make more money), and the customer was completely willing to suck up that cost, knowing that most customers would demand a refund for the remaining 18 hours of time of no usage, but yet being the good guy at U-haul got me burned and charged $15 extra. It is not the cost, but the principle. I will simply go to another moving truck service that can be fair to a customer next time and recommend that others do the same.

Hello, I was happy to find a location about 1 mike from my home. The reservation and pick up was very easy and convenient, however, that was the extent of the ‘good’ portion of my experience. The driver and passenger seats were very dirty and messy. There were old food containers and take out food left on the floor, which I had to clean out. I drove 130 miles to my destination, to find that the inside of the truck had a mound of dirt in it. I had to shovel then sweep the dirt out before I could actually use the truck to move my belongings. I feel like the dirt still got on my things. When I went to fill the gas tank, gasoline got all over my clothes, the truck and floor. There was obviously a broken part on this part of the truck, as the same thing occurred at multiple gas stations. This was highly dangerous in my opinion, and particularly negligent on the part of the company. Furthermore, when I returned the truck, I told the clerk about all of the issues. She barely had a response, telling my she was having a bad morning (is that even a real excuse?). I asked her why the truck was so dirty and not examined, and she said the staff frequently does not have time to clean/check the trucks between renters. Again, this is highly negligent and dangerous. I then inquired about filing a complain, and was told U-Haul was responsible, as the rental location was just a third party, and there was nothing they could do. Overall, this was quite an unpleasant experience. The customer service was very poor. I am still very angry that I payed $400 for a 2 day rental, when a company admits to flagrantly disregarding the posted standards of cleanliness and safety.

Dropping off the truck was very easy and very pleasant. The young lady (sorry. I didn't get her name either) was very polite and quick with the paperwork. Overall. Picking up the truck and dropping it off was very satisfying. No Muss. No Fuss!!!
