the switch that operated the headlights was missing & I was confused as to how to turn the headlights on. I found out by chance that they came on by themselves when the truck was put in gear. a few other things were confusing, such as what the little yellow light on the dashboard meant. It turned out that it was meant for the trailer hitch.
Don't rent run down trucks to your customers the truck I got was all beat up on the outside and smelled inside the truck cab! And the after hours return experience was horrible because the website doesn't work properly took me well over an hour just to return my moving truck
Had to wait in line for a bit... Only one sales person working counter. By the time he finished with me there were 4 other people in line & I had pre filled all paperwork on line including payment. Couldn't find info on trailer your company wanted me to haul ...so couldn't & didn't receive the discount they had offered.ðŸ™
The gentleman was a great help with getting me a 15 ft van and told me that I could take advantage of storying me belongings at this location. I had told him the the Public Storage place across the street did not even care that someone had broken into my unit there and stole several dollars of my belongings. I used the van to move my belongings to u-haul and I am so glad that I did. The entire expeirance was great. I now have plans to rent another van and take my belongings to TN. and rent a storage unit up there while during my move. Thank you U-Haul for having everything I need for moving. Ron Valliere

I was told the vehicle had a half a tank. They drove the vehicle to me and just said here you go. On my way home I realized I had only a quarter of a tank. It cost me $25.00 to replace the gas to only drive a little over ten miles. I was furious.
Made an appointment and received truck in timely manner. Customer service was excellent.
Very Pleasant experience
I called the U-Haul Customer Service line and addressed applying Military Discount. Was told they would make a note of it on my contract and to mention it on drop off so that my credit card can be reimbursed the additional charge. Attendant verified my identity and stated once the trailer is unhooked, I can go on my way. I told him I had to go inside to receive credit to my account. He then showed that it was paid in full already and that I was "basically F'd" (did not say the complete word). I asked to see the manager while I called U-Haul Customer Service. The Asst Manager (his name is Howard) showed up and said, "Are you active duty?" I replied, "Negative. I'm retired from the military." Howard then said, "Then you're just a Veteran and the discount does not apply. As soon as you're unhooked you can leave!"...and walked away. I was finally able to contact Customer Service and explained what happened. They apologized, and sent me a text with the number to contact the Traffic Control Officer for this location the following morning. I have done so and raised my concern with the experience I had do deal with and they will address this matter further. U-Haul Customer Service telephone line was EXCELLENT. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Palm Bay 4703 Babcock St. NE Palm Bay, FL 32905 *VERY POOR* experience and NOT Military friendly. You're better off going down the street heading North on Babcock. Smaller location and very personable.

If there are onlt 2 adults, stop asking me for a 3rd phone number. This caused an error which caused me to wait in line anyway.
Our truck had NO brake lights told the manager and he was rude
Under staffed at check in point every time I am there. Five people waiting and only on person working the desk.
Everything was awesome and staff were pleasant
The staff was very nice! The process was easy. I would recommend that there are more cashiers. The wait was long and I was in a hurry.
The equipment was generally great but a previous user had left a small amount of some sweet brown sticky residue (caramel candy?) in the trailer that went unnoticed and contaminated one of the boxes I was shipping. No big deal but had that been something unprotected by cardboard, I'd have been really disappointed.
The store was approximately 15-20 minutes late in opening on a Sunday morning. I was disappointed, by all else went well.
Trailer was buried behind 2 others. Why isn't there a system in place to rent the easiest ones to get to first. There had to be 20 or more trailers available, any number of which would have been easier to get to.
Vehicle need to be driven by your mechanic so they can access their handling conditions.
I was charged twice. I had issues the last time and decided to try them again. This is the second time they over charged me.
