Make sure that your front desk clerks are actually friendly. Also not charge someone's account 3 times in error basically holding their money hostage. I've used Uhaul before and have never had such a poor poor experience

Had a minor accident with the van I rented. They did not inform me they had the repair done and then charged my debit card. In the future, maybe calling the customer, before additional, unusual fees are debited from your bank account occur; I actually had to call and ask for a copy of the final invoice. Also, let customers know when they purchase the insurance it really is not accident insurance, but a discount deducted from the final repair cost.

They forgot to check the truck in when I dropped it off, then called me the next day asking when I'd bring the truck back. Not a big deal overall, but worth mentioning.

Poor customer service: they provided incorrect mistaken information and it turned into my problem to solve. Made a reservation for a rental truck and specified a different person would be picking up the vehicle. Not a problem, I provided my credit card info and they said I just needed the driver's name and we would be good to go. When I called back with the name, they corrected themselves and said the driver had to have a form of payment with him; would not utilize a credit card over the phone under any circumstances. Told me I could purchase a gift certificate online and email the driver. Not possible since he was already en route to their location - I asked for some other possible way to handle transaction. No other way - and the person on this second phone call (linda or belinda) was very condescending - clearly not her problem. This UHaul actually made the transaction much more difficult than it needed to be - completely unhelpful. I'll definitely avoid this location in the future - too many other good options available.

We made the reservation and told the agent we'd be going 400 miles or more. She said that it would cost us $231.00 and .29 per mile after that. Well, the store did not give us that rate. We should have been told from the start that every mile over 100 was going to cost .29. The reservation agent did not clarify the situation and it left a bad feeling with us for Uhaul. Also the cab was not clean.

THE TRAILER WAS DIRTY I ASKED IF SOMEONE CAN CLEAN IT OUT.ONE GUY RESPONDED YES I WENT IN TO DO MY PAPERWORK 4 GUYS WERE STANDING THERE IN THE TRAILER WAS STILL DIRTY. SO I ASKED TO BORROW A BROOM AND ONE OF THE OTHER GUYS DID HELP ME CLEAN IT.

Murray, the owner, couldn't have been more nice and helpful. I rented a cargo van to move some furniture into my new apt. It was a smooth and comfortable ride. Perfect for a woman to drive. When I returned it, I was met by a nice staff member who closed out my bill right on the spot. Thank you, I plan to use you again, in the near future.

I didnt receive an overview on the truck operations, so I was a little unsure of the tow/haul light that was on and if I should have turned it off. There was some diagrams on the dash, but I was still uncertain. Otherwise I had a very positive rental experience that exceeded my exceptions on ease of rental and value.

Due to the scheduled pick up time of the truck, which was at 4:30 pm to return at 8:30 pm, I was not aware that the office would be closed. No instruction was given at the time the truck was rented advising that the office would be closed and providing the procedure that should be followed. This made for an unpleasant end to the use of the truck. We were able to reach customer service and the rep was very nice and made a note on our account. I would recommend checking with your customers when they are returning after hours to verify if they are aware of the procedure and what they will need to check their truck in.
