I will NEVER use Uhaul again, i have been trying to fix problems in my contract for weeks! I have been dealing with extremely rude people, in specific a manager called Steven who would not let me speak to explain the problem over a phone call, he was condescending and disrespectful. I will do everything in my power to spread the word that Uhual is not a serious company and should never be trusted

Super Tom was just that.....SUPER! He explained everything for us snd we were gone in the van in just a few minutes. We have rented from several different locations where the customer service has been lacking, but Tom was great, he had the Van we needed and therefore, this is the u-haul rental location we will use from now on!

We had to drive 30km out of our way to pick up the truck and of course and other 30 kn to drop it off again, creating a huge additional cost to our use of kms!!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!

The pick up location was sketchy at best. Quite a messy set up and the office looked like a person's home. The drop off depot was on the other hand fantastic. I've been to the Ottawa depot as well and it is similarly quite professional. The little satellite locations though are all pretty poor by comparison. I would consider a west end depot in Ottawa.

Online customer care said there are no trucks available in Ottawa or around for the date I requested (10 or 15 feet). So I was approaching stores which are far away and when I contacted L&S store owner he said he has 15feet truck available and reserved it. But on the day of moving he said no trucks available in-spite of reserving(he was actually overbooking) and made me rent a van from his store which is 20km away from home.

This is the absolute worst U-Haul experience I've ever gone through. We were overcharged on our bill and the pick up location was very suspicious at best. We only rented the truck for 2 days and the owner, Tom, who processed our u-haul order at this location advised us that the days were counted by the time of day you pick up the truck. We picked up our truck Friday, July 20th at 1:24pm and we were told we could drop off on Sunday, July 22nd by 1:24pm and that we would only be charged for 2 days. We dropped off the truck on Sunday at 10:29am, well before the drop off time and we also put quite a bit more fuel in the truck than it had in it when we received it. We saw the same man who processed our order and he told us to just put our keys in the drop off box and that was it. This was a very strange, unsettling location but we've dropped off keys in the box at other rental truck companies before and never had any issues. However, I noticed that the contract sent to me the next day showed a drop off time of 6:26pm. This is completely incorrect and horrifically unprofessional if this is how this location runs their business by purposely improperly inputting information and scamming people. I contacted uHaul immediately and they told me that I would receive a refund of $29.95 + tax for 1 day and that the total would be $32.55. I was charged 13% tax on my bill, so I should've been refunded $33.84. They told me I would only be refunded the "rental" tax, not the full HST. This is also a scam and completely wrong.. I was charged the 13% tax initially so I should be refunded what I was charged. I have now waited 9 days for the refund to show up on my credit card and nothing. I called uhaul and they told me the refund wasn't going through for "some reason" and it needed to be escalated. This is THE most unprofessional, horrible company I've ever dealt with and this uHaul location is the sketchiest, creepiest location I've ever been to. I'm horrified at the customer service of such a large company. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Hello, I booked a truck online and expected to pick it up using the app. When I arrived, there was no truck for me, but someone who worked there was present to help me sort it out. I booked a truck for 10am and had to wait until someone returned the truck at 11am before I could take it. When the truck was returned, the other customer indicated that he was unaware that someone else was waiting for the truck. It seems that communication could have been improved there. At one point, the man serving me explained that the person who had the truck could have kept it for another day. I was very confused by the reason for the error. Again, communication could have been improved. The delay meant that I was charged a 30$ fee by the moving company to wait. The man who served me offered to rent me a dolly for free. (The savings of 7$ is appreciated, but it would have been reasonable to expect the full 30$ I was charged by the movers.) Overall, this was not a smooth transaction, but it was appreciated that it was sorted out in an hour rather than leaving me without a truck.

This was by far the worst location I've ever been to! He was selling all natural products which is fine but the place smelt so bad! I would not use this company or location ever again. Budget and Discount were both clean and professional. He was unable to even take payment properly and needed to use a scanner to scan my mastercard which is really sketchy. I really hope someone from head office goes to this location and sees the condition of this "office". -Amanda

Book online, get sent it another county, they forget my reservation, they “do me a favour” and send me to another location, get a truck bigger than what I ordered (that’s not value, that’s annoying) and then I get charged over $30 for gas - even though I gassed up before returning!!! Never again

I do not appreciate running around to find person, on lot. The side door is locked and owner is in back of bluilding. When I return the truck at 4:00 p.m. note on door tells you to call this number, owner answers and tells you to drop key in orange box. I would rather be able to see some one and pick up my copy of bill, so I am not charged or over charged. There should be two people on site at all times.
