Great experience with live attendant. The Uhaul app did not work well on my phone but everything got done with human intervention.

We had rented the uhaul for 9 hours instead it took us an hour to get all the info therefore we lost an hour of rent and the lady that called to confirm alternate contact number had flagged our original uhaul truck as broken which was false and in result, it took us an hour to get the uhaul.

The 95630798 email of Sep. 1 2019 at 08:16 from NoReply@uhaul.com had 4 attachments -- Receipt_95630798_0, Receipt_95630798_1, Receipt_95630798_2, Receipt_95630798_3 -- of which only the 2 files ending with 0 and 1 were readable in Google/Firefox -- the Equipment Contract terms and My Agreement. Price charged was NOT what we verbally agreed to on several occasions. A copy of the agreement was shared by email on pick up and i was directed to several irrelevant areas of the contact, seemingly on purpose to distract me from the daily rate which, again, NOT what was communicated to me verbally. Van was dirty and smelled very strongly of barn animal/poop. Not good service, Uhaul. Very unhappy customers.

Pick up location had a terrible odour and truck rattled like it was going to fall apart while driving.

The vehicules are adequate, the location on the other hand is sub-par. There is a decomposing smell that makes it hard to even enter the building in order to fill out the paperwork, so much so, that I will avoid this location entirely., again, not because of the fleet, but because of the makeshit office in a disgusting warehouse.

The 6 x 12 trailer did not have a screw jack to raise or lower the trailer. Without the jack it is next to impossible to separate the trailer from the ball hitch when the trailer is loaded. I had to use a floor jack to raise and lower the trailer hitch on the ball of the truck.

The Uhaul SW didn’t work for the owner and it made his job difficult and took a lot of extra time to sort out. Tom the owner was very helpful and a great guy to work with

Worst experience of my life. My truck was guaranteed for 24/7 pickup, but upon arriving an hour late from my original pickup time because my pickup location was changed across the city on me last minute by uhaul, my reservation was expired and I had to fight to get my truck. The location had already closed, so I had to call customer service, which after an hour were able to help me only because I was able to find the keys myself. Customer service provided me the number to the manager of the pickup location and I had to fight with him to be able to get checked in and get my truck. Awful experience, will never use uhaul again, and will tell everyone I know to never use this poorly managed company again.

Work on the drivers license upload function. It didnt work for a while. Also, I am very upset with location on Coventry road as I had originally scheduled for the same time there and they changed my reservation to 230pm, which was not possible. Coventry is a terrible location. This guy in carp was good, very friendly and helpful.

When I got there he said no debit only credit cards. He had a debit in the counter that stated off line. I told him this was not acceptable and that the site never stated this. The deposit was 100.00 and he said he would let me send him an e transfer but that it had to be 200. Because of this I was rushed to make sure I came back prior to him closing at 1pm so I could ensure I got my money back as I knew I was not using much km. When I came back He then made comments of him having to deposit the money I paid him (to his personal account) how he had to pay uhsul by a certain time or he would be charged 45.00. So if I had not come rushing back prior to him leaving he most likely would have then charged me the 45.00. I will not ever use this location again. Very sketchy, place smelled. Left me with a feeling of being swindled if not back before he left.
