The 9’ cargo van doesn’t accommodate a small apartment, it is false advertising, I needed to make two trips at an extra $175 cost. I didn’t even have that much stuff but the wheel wells, boards on the sides and curved roof make it A LOT SMALLER than I needed.

The depot was great. Your customer service trying to book was TERRIBLE First operator booked me a van 4 hours from pickup point. I was told she couldn't tell me where my pick up point was till after I gave my credit card number. I didn't find out the location till I got my email confirmation Tried to get it changed. The operator wanted to give me a number to write down. She was not helpful. When I said I wanted to cancel. She then told me she could transfer my call. Why didn't she do this the first time. I will be rethinking using Uhaul again. This is the second time I have had trouble booking

Extremely rushed due to other businesses (variety store). While they were quite friendly, we had to request a truck inspection since other customers were in the variety store and the attendant wanted to check after we had left.

I was charged $180 when it should have been $45, after I had already told them my name an everything. The girl at the counter tried forcing me to sign an agreement and it wasn’t even my name on it. After repeating that it wasn’t my name and I wasn’t going to sign it she finally listened and realized it was the incorrect contract. Took 2 days to get the refund. They charged me an additional $15 for insurance and then when they got my correct contract re charged me for it AGAIN. The wife had to get her husband to drive there and that took an additional half hour. I rented it for a certain time so I could pick it up for a certain time not wait a half hour because they don’t have their paperwork together, I even showed up 15 minutes early and still waited an additional 30mins from rental time. He then said I would get refunded $50 for my troubles, I check today and the $50 was taken out of my account not refunded this is absolutely ridiculous! I’ve been on hold with Uhaul for 9 minutes so far without even speaking to a person and no one will answer the phone at the Munchies Convenience store that I rented it from. I will NEVER be renting a Uhaul again and if this does not get resolved I will be spreading the word about the absolutely terrible service!

I made an original reservation at 330 Brock st in Whitby ON. But this location has permanently shut down. It should be removed from the option. The oshawa location graciously took the reservation and provided me with a truck.

Service was pretty good. Truck was all ready. I would recommend that you tell the renters that the trucks are from the States and use miles instead of km's to record mileage. Would make for less misunderstandings on the bill.

It was a very sketchy convenience store. People were nice, but they didn't seem that professional.

The representative in the store has some language problems and is not properly trained. She had to call someone else to walk her through the process of the rental(that too in some other language). I decided to do it on my phone and just pick up the keys from the store and would suggest others to do the same. The store operator will only smile and laugh no matter you what you say to them. When returning the keys, I told her I already paid but she kept on asking me to come inside and pay. It was extremely difficult to explain things to her. Thanks to Uhaul for renting out the moving trucks though.
