There was a hold put on my debit card and for 2-3 days, which I was not aware was going to happen. I thought I was paying for it up front t and any additional costs or refunds would be applied when I returned the truck. This caused a negative balance in my account but I resolved it with a deposit. I should receive my refund any day now. No big deal.

Guru took good care of us. Fast and smooth
Gamalier RWhen returning the rental, person just took the key, didn’t check the truck and refused to process the return even when I asked for him to check me out and give me a receipt. He got very frustrated when I insisted on being checked out and used foul language and cursed at me, even though I was very respectful to him. I recorded a video of the incident.

Daniel BThis is one of the worst experiences I had moving. Picking up the truck was a breeze and loading it wasn’t too bad either. However, once we loaded it we locked the back with the U-Haul lock. When we got to the new place to unload the truck, we realized there were no keys to unlock the truck. We called U-Haul to help solve this issue and they wanted us to drive back to the place we got the truck to have them unlock it. This would’ve cost us more money and gas for a mistake they caused which is ridiculous. We proceeded to tell the woman on the phone this and she transferred us to multiple departments. After a while, we had to have a locksmith come out to pick the lock. This process cost of 3 hours of time we could’ve spent unloading and unpacking. I will not be using the service again in the future…
