I had requested pick up in Ansonia (1 mile from my house) and was told they did not have a truck there for us. Central scheduling said they were trying to get one there for us but could not. However we saw 2 10ft trucks in Ansonia after we picked up in Orange. We had to wait a long time because only one person working and they were with someone else. I had done express registration. The person working was pleasant and helpful but we had to wait too long

Web check-in/check-out process is terrible. So many steps and taking all those pictures. It takes way longer than just having the great staff at the Orange U-haul do it.

There is not much needed improvement with this store. I have used this location a frequently, very professional and knowledged on their positions. However, they always seem understaffed and overwhelmed. Again, I reiterated very professional and effiecient. Yes, I always recommend this location..

Shout out to Daniel for being awesome and keeping it together as impatient customers peppered him with stupid questions. One customer even threatened to call the police over his own stupid mistake. Daniel kept cool and was polite and helpful through the whole thing.

The UHAUL truck I rented was poorly maintenance. The brakes were horrible and squeaking and the alignment was so far off that you had to turn the steering wheel to an almost 90 degree angle to drive straight. On top of that, the recommended gas mileage chart was incorrect, I had to put double the amount of gas in the truck to bring it back to the original usage. I am so dissatisfied with this company, I will never use you again to move my belongings or recommend this company to anyone.

2 different general managers over the course of 2 days (after I had already returned the tow dolly) called and left me minute long voicemails about my tow dolly and how it needed to be returned. Got a call on saturday and sunday morning about this. 9 am on a sunday morning, was woken up to this. I returned the tow dolly on Thursday night and they just "didn't check the numbers on it" - truly mindblowing.

the location is in a good spot but when we came to drop off the truck the parking lot had a huge line of trucks and we couldn't even pull in for like 10 min. til they moved the other trucks out of the way. and then the guy inside was not friendly and we ended up getting charged $40 for being late, AND they hit us for the extra 15 min it took them to check the truck in.

When I ordered the truck I assumed it was a firm order. But I got a phone call two days before pick up that the truck was not indeed available In the message Uhaul offered alternatives but none were good for me. A call to the office fixed the issue but not before some unnecessary anxiety

Operational comment. I rented in RI because the center in CT called and said my time for pickup was going to be 5 hours later than originally requested. In RI I had to go to two locations to get the equipment rented. As A result thr RI dispatch center indicated that an additional 15 miles would be added to the contract...that was not reflected in my final statement. Point two is that as a result of needing to go to two locations at time of rental there was an additional $12.00 in tolls incurred. Your people were good but the end result of my rental was an additional hassle factor and $20.00 in fees plus the need to drive 80 miles to get the equipment. Thanks, Will Moore
