When a customer makes a reservation for furniture dollies it is good business practice to actually have them on site. This happened after I made a reservation for the previous day but they were unable to fulfill my reservation because the “system was down”

Your policy regarding existing damage to vehicles and documenting it Prior to leaving is particularly screwed up when the truck is filled from head to toe with damages and blemishes that are not already marked with X's. I had to mark every location on the provider of the vehicle on the diagram on the sales receipt because the truck was scratched and damaged in so many places that it would have been impossible to document them all, as per your policy. And then I had to sign a receipt saying I agreed to knowledge of these existing damages on the vehicle and I am responsible for any new damage that may arise...which is insane because there's no way to know what damages were there before or after.

I was charged $703 for a minor chip in the paint. The rep in the front said I would get a phone call before any charges went through but no one called and the charge for 703 went through. I had to bike all the way across town and go back to the location where the rep originally told me that that's how much it costs to repair the damage and I was stuck with it. (It was a tiny scrape!) Then she went and checked a previous walk through and found out that this scratch had already been reported but they hadn't marked it or anything so I got charged for it. She reversed the fee and was helpful but it still hasn't posted to my bank and it's caused two other charges to bounce resulting in three $35 charges with my bank. On top of moving into a new place and paying all these deposits this has really been a disheartening and stressful experience and I can't give more than one star. The rep who fixed it was nice but this should never have happened in the first place.

Extremely long wait times & inefficient operation. Subjective & inaccurate fuel assessment upon return. Rental was given away to another customer before fuel discrepancy could be resolved, thus forcing an unsatisfactory resolution.

My experience was negative with the cashier. Cashier allowed a customer skip the line. I wanted in line about 45 minutes with reservation of a truck. A customer rudely and disresectfully asked to change her reservation of a truck about 5 times in front of customers who was being checked out. Cashier should have told the customer she has to wait in line. Most of the customer had reservation, she has to wait her turn. I hope that you will review the cameras in the store and see this condition. I did not want to get in confotation with your customer. I hope that this cashier will get better training.

The staff at this location was helpful and doing the best they could in a bad situation. I ordered a 15 inch truck for 9 am. I got to the location right at 9 am. Then, I sat in line for 45 minutes while one poor girl behind the counter dealt with disgruntled customer after disgruned customer due to trucks not being available when we all had reserved them (despite the guarantee that a truck would be available at the reserved time and location). When I got to the register (at 9:45), there was only a 10 inch truck available. I was thrilled to get something. Everything seemed good (although I had spent an hour of my 5 hour reservation waiting in line to get a truck). I was on my way to my destination when I received four missed calls and a voicemail. I had to bring the truck back for whatever reason. I called the location and spoke with the woman who checked me out. She said I needed to return, she needed the truck. I should not have returned (and next time, I won't!) Apparently, the woman behind me in line was rude and through a fit and made the woman call me those four times. When I got back to the location, this rude woman who was originally behind me in line had her arms crossed (but, of course, her tantrum worked... she got the truck). I was told they would switch my truck out. I needed something 10 inches or more as I had to move multiple pieces of furniture and a mattress and box spring. I was told there was nothing available (again, after I had made a reservation in advance and was guaranteed the reservation would be fulfilled). The only thing available was a cargo van. That would have to do as I had to be out of my house that day. I had to wait 4.25 hours after my original reserved pick up time just to get a smaller truck than I had reserved. I'm not sure where the problem lies here, but something has to be fixed. This location is not the problem. The employees at this location is not the problem. They were doing the best they could with a screwed up situation. But, there is a problem here. A big problem. I would venture to guess that it is the scheduling and double booking of trucks that is the problem. something needs some serious work. And please, don't misunderstand when I say I would not recommend this location to a friend. It is not the location I wouldn't recommend, its uhaul in general.

Overall the young man went above and beyond to help make sure my needs were meet i wish i remembered his name. The young lady at the desk wasnt as welcoming and i felt like she could work on her csr skills. By me working as a csr myself i didnt feel valued until the young man stepped in and help her understand what i needed. He should get a raise or be a csr.

Steps should be simpler when using the self-check out/in. Pictures shouldn't be necessary, and if so, not multiple ones. Also the driving care insurance ($14.99) should be optional or reimbursed if rental is turned in early & with no damages to report.
