Service employees were excellent and courteous. The truck performed great. The only thing that was a bit overwhelming is the self check in and out process. You have to inspect, document damage, take & upload photos. It’s a lot more pleasurable to rent the truck when the service employees perform these tasks.

I understand that it was after hours (10mins) however the customer service agent there was not helpful at all. He never acknowledged us. He was working as if we weren't there. I had a question regarding after hours drop off. He had no knowledge of what I was referring to.

First the employee who served me had an attitude like I was bothering her at work. When she wasn’t tending to anyone at the time. Then when I approached her, I did say excuse miss before asking or requesting anything. Then the equipment was broken but of course she knew that before she even given it to me. I’m sorry she went and got it then told me after she walked back into the business that it was outside in front of the store waiting on me. When I asked do I need someone to look at the truck I was renting, she said with an attitude “didn’t they send you the link?” I was confused as to what she was talking about and replied this was my first time and I showed her my phone. The other employee who was helping another customer realized I was confused and the original employee had an attitude. She intervened and said yes ma’am just click the link button and it will walk you through. I said thank you then headed to walk away. Before walking out the store, I asked the employee with the attitude does my mileage start from here and she yelled “no from the address you put to your destination.” So when I get the bill I was confused. When the manager responded to my email instead of initially explaining, she was quick to say the receipt says this and that. Maybe if your customer service reps would explain properly and answer the questions properly then a customer wouldn’t be confused. It’s so professional to respond by email when a customer is confused on their price instead of just calling them and trying to explain. But this manager and her sales person has great customer service skills in their mind. But in actuality they suck and need more training!!

Overcharged on rental, they never explain that it would be a hold on credit card. Totally inconvenience they said it would refund in 3 to 5 business days. I end up having to call my bank and dispute the charges... ??

8 ft.Pickup Truck. Floor was not clean: Mud smears on passenger side of transmission hump, and splash marks from what appeared to be a milkshake spill on passenger seat. I noticed the immediate, intense smell of cigarette smoke, which was not completely eradicated even after three separate three applications of air freshener..

The truck I requested was not available. They offered a larger truck which worked out. The price I was shown on the screen increased by 20.00 when my credit card was charged and the sales associate not the manager could explain why.

Very friendly, easy and fast, they explained everything and drop off was super simple and all staff was very polite and courteous. Id highly recommend this location to anyone in our area. The Manager was super helpful and very involved. Was the easiest part of moving!!!

The lady who helped me on the phone had a really horrible attitude and when I got there she ended up having a really horrible attitude in person as well. She got my order wrong and got super argumentative over it as opposed to trying to help me change it to what I needed. She was also super disrespectful to other customers in line. At one point the customers in line were all looking at each other like she was crazy wondering wtf was going on. I won’t be back to that location.

I rented a van from the uhaul located at 2936 st claude ave, new orleans, la 70117 for I assumed was a quick and painless rental. I need to move some appliances so I made a reservation. upon going into the store, the staff was not friendly at all and had piss poor attitudes; it seemed as though they didn't want to be there. all prompts were extremely short and given with attitude. I rented the van for the $19.99, printed the contract, and then proceeded to the vehicle. I used the van for a total of about 2 hours, returned and to my surprise was being told by the inspection guy that I had put $615 worth of damaged caused by the dollie that the COMPANY RENTED TO ME. there was a scuff mark on the inside of the van from the dollie and when asked to see the dent that apparently was on the roof of the van I was told I couldn't. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there wasn't one and that I would need to either call or come back the next day. I called the next day at 10 am and was put on hold for 26 minutes. I hung up and then called again a little later and again was placed on a 20 minute hold this time. I work all day and cannot get to the store so I decided to call one more time the following day while at work to see if I could speak to the manager about the alleged damage. no one.....nothing. the store charge roughly $40 for the initial rental and then held the " damage" amount and didn't charge me until 2 days after I rented the van. no one called me back or bothered to pick up the phone while I was on hold. Ive used U-haul many times for inner city and for all my long distance moves over the past 10 years. after this nonsense I WILL NEVER use this company ever again and will make it a point to deter any friends and family from going to this store/company to rent. I would rather pay more for another company than to deal with Uhaul in the furture. the way this was handled was disgusting and poor business.

whoever was working the desk was really rude with an attitude problem. she snapped at us right from the jump and basically assumed that we should know everything about uhaul without attempting to explain it. she wasn’t wearing a name tag but she had blueish purple lipstick and a short haircut and acted like it was the end of the world because she had to serve me and my friend. i would not recommend this location simply because of her foul attitude.
