This was an excellent experience and the manager (I believe) at the counter was courteous, professional, very helpful, and made us reach the most practical and least costly way of renting that would get the job. I say he was the manager because of how I overheard him handle a problem one of the other employee's was stuck with in a very intelligent, calm, and professional manner. Nothing to improve. This is an excellent location and I hope you commend the manager whose name should be on the contract. Thank you.

The passenger side window would not stay adjusted...when we were about to leave lot, the side mirror wouldn't stay adjusted. We spent like a half an hour trying to get to work. However they made up for it. The inside of the window looking out was hard to see out of. But overall the staff was courteous and professional and made things right. I had to tent for 3 days, then later had to add a day. They we're flexible and I got a free month of storage. Definitely plan to use UHaul again. I in a F150. However, it wasn't sufficient enough to accommodate my cargo. Too many back and forth trips. The 17' really made it MUCH easier and faster.

There was nothing wrong with the equipment itself, however, the experience with U-Haul customer services was awful. We rented a truck for a 6AM pick-up. The online system set-up the pick-up for a location that does not open until 7AM. That would've been fine since I was doing a mobile check-in/pick-up. Unfortunately, their system is flawed and I don't believe they are adequately set-up to do these mobile check-ins. I completed all the required steps on their mobile app...for about 15-20 minutes it stated that they were waiting for approval from my references. My references were both there at the rental place with me, and neither received any sort of notification from U-Haul for the reference request. I called customer service to see what the issue was. We were on a tight schedule to move that morning. I spoke to at least 5 different people who said they weren't sure why it wasn't moving through the process, and that they would forward me to someone that could help. Each time I spoke to a new person, I had to explain the situation over and over again. If they had been communicating with one another/took notes in the system, this would've been more efficient. Instead they wasted my time and energy. Finally, I spoke to someone who was helpful. However, it still took great persistence on my end. She kept trying to say that I needed to do something on my end for the approval. After a few times of going back and forth with her manager/supervisor, they were able to figure out the problem so that I could proceed through the system and get the lock box code to retrieve the U-Haul Truck key. This experience with U-Haul convinced me that I should look elsewhere for a moving truck/van the next time I need one. When I shared my story with others, they said they also had bad experiences and would never go back. Now I understand why. My advice...you need a better online system and customer service reps that actually understand how the app works and each step in the process. From my conversations, it's clear that they are not well-trained to handle issues related to the mobile app. Until you fix that, probably not a great idea to have folks pick-up trucks at locations during non-business hours when there are no employees to address customer issues on the ground.

A reservation was placed for me on a Friday but I received a call Saturday saying they didn’t have anything ready when I was told they would. I was also told I could drop the truck off at the same pick up location by an employee. When I dropped it off everything was just awful, I called to close my contract and the lady over the phone told me I could leave the truck at the drop off location I was at and one of the employees gave me attitude after he had told me to drop the keys off in the drop box. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone I care about, the customer service I received left me very upset.

This is the second time I use uhaul in a matter of 4 months. The first time, after reserving a van at a nearby location, I was called a few hours before pick up time to tell me they didn't have the van I had requested. I was sent to another location. I received terrible customer service at that second location but I already sent my complain. Then this second time, I also received a call a few hours before pick time telling me they didn't have the van I requested. I was sent again to another location. Why can't they get their stuff together. I wasn't offered anything as compensation last time, and I hope I do this time.
