This was a terrible experience. I am rating First Fremont Market as a drop off location, because that was the one that UHaul suggested as the #1 closest drop off location (which it wasn't - it was actually quite far from where I live). Please reference my original contract to see that this was my assigned drop off location. When I arrived, I called the phone number as instructed. The man that answered said he had no idea what to do with UHauls. I asked him what I should do and he gave me a different phone number to call. I called that number twice and got no answer so I left a voicemail and no one called me back. Since I was in a very dark area that I wasn't comfortable in and we weren't even allowed to leave the truck there, we drove the UHaul all the way back from North Minneapolis to south Minneapolis to my old apartment parking lot, which I wasn't even authorized to park in any more but we couldn't think of a safer option for the truck. Then I called UHaul customer service. I spoke briefly with someone and she transferred me to a different department. I stayed on hold for 15 minutes and then it timed out and asked me to leave a voicemail. I left a voicemail and no one called me back. The next morning we had to get rid of the truck by 11am so we called the 3545 Nicollet Ave location to ask if we could drop it off there. We did, but he had to CHARGE US FOR THE EXTRA MILES. I understood that he was just doing his job with a customer he wasn't supposed to have to deal with, so I wasn't upset with him. I'm just upset at the original drop off situation. No one returned my calls and I got charged extra for something that wasn't my fault. I hope someone reads this and finally calls me because I would like a refund! Thanks.Daniel C.

Online checkin didn't work and wasted an hour getting my truck. Checkin process was very slow. Also did not have the furniture dolly or blankets that I pre-ordered.John B.
I was called 15 minutes before my reservation for my trailer at the location off of (or in) white bear, that they didn't have my trailer and needed to find another location (when I made my reservation it was available). They sent me to Minneapolis which was 20 minutes out of my way in each direction, also then having to deal with driving a SUV hauling a trailer down the one ways in traffic downtown was zero fun. If you don't have someone's trailer within 2 hrs of the reservation time you should call the customer and let them know, not 15 minutes beforehand. The woman I talked to on the phone was very polite and apologetic, I don't blame the workers but this policy must be changed.zachary D.
We ordered a 8' pick up truck and it was switched for a van without us being asked and notified. When I went to pick up the truck there was no truck available and we had to take the van. I would have ordered from a different location if I knew a van was all that was available. There was no apology for the mix up by the staff and in fact, he just respond that he had changed it. I expressed my frustration that I wasn't notified and this was brushed off.NICOLE Z.

Our truck had a dolly and moving blankets in it. The dolly and moving blankets were constantly in our way while loading the truck. Finally, we decided to clip the seal just to get them out of our way. I do not plan on paying for the use of these, they did nothing but hinder our move.Cameron L.

You informed me quickly that the truck I reserved was not available, but an improvement would be to a faster, more immediate way to demonstrate your truck inventory. I reserved a 15' truck and made plans, only to learn an hour later that my only option was a 10', which meant another hour revising my plans for everyone involved.
