Not only would I not recommend this location but I believe I am owed at least a partial refund as the equipment provided to me was not what I agreed to pay for when I made the reservation. To make the situation even worse I was not able to fully communicate my needs or issues as the staff only spoke 100% Spanish and I hardly speak any. I had to call my girlfriend to meet me at the location as she is fluent in Spanish. Had she not been available I would have not been able to communicate AT ALL nor would I have understood any of the instruction necessary during the entire check out and check back in process. It was terribly uncomfortable signing paperwork and agreeing to additional services when my understanding of the content was based on someone else’s ability to translate. This is not uncommon in Miami but should 100% be visible on the UHaul Website. In addition to the language issue, when I reported the issue with the rental when I returned it, the associate told me there was nothing they could do and to report the problem to UHaul. Below is the issue I had with the rental truck 1 - the fuel level listed on the paperwork the associated asked me to sign BEFORE they gave me the truck was 7/8. The actual level in the vehicle was well below 1/4. Luckily I received a text from UHaul for a link to conduct and submit the inspection myself. (A VERY positive feature and experience of my rental - I really liked that service). I documented the level and submitted a photo and returned the vehicle with the same level of fuel. I was not charged for additional fuel so ultimately no harm. But again, being asked in a language I do not understand, to put my signature on a document before even being issued the equipment was extremely nerve racking. 2- upon getting a better look into the floor and upper area of the truck bed, it was clear it had not been cleaned. I signed off that the truck was clean but there was a sticky substance on the floor and upper storage area and it was dirty. Not dirty enough to notice when doing a visionary inspection upon check in but dirty enough to transfer my possessions. While ultimately I inspected the vehicle upon check in, it was clear that the staff does not do a thorough job of inspecting upon return. When I returned the vehicle there was zero inspection done with me prior to them charging my card. 3rd - this is most important and the reason I expect compensation. When I inspected the vehicle upon check in I zoomed in on the photos of the vehicle to ensure all the details of damaged I noticed where indicated. I submitted as all good before I entered the drivers seat. Before taking off I noticed the driver mirror was equipped with shrink wrap and tape at the base of mirror arm. Luckily I was able to reaccess the link sent to me by UHaul and I document this as well as took a photo. The rental price may be low, but the charge per mile is extremely ridiculous. $1.19 per mile is just way too high. That my friends is highway robbery...pun intended.

I did the express check-in the night before, and they still asked me all the same questions and wanted our IDs and everything. And the truck had not been serviced. The front left turn signal was out and they had no other trucks that size available and offered no help for it. I can only hope that I don't get a ticket in the mail for it!

Some dirt/crumbs on the floor truck. Remote check in was easy and quick. I ordered a dolly, and was not in truck when I picked up. We needed to come back for it when the location was open.

Location of Nuevo Mundo at 40th street is wrong in google maps, also the phone number seems to not work either. Once you are there service is perfect and the store is pretty nice. Thank You U-haul for your service it was very helpful

They opened late. I made my reservation at 9am and they opened about 20mins late. To make matters worst, the van I reserved I was under the impression it was the one with high ceiling. I turned out it wasn't so I had to make two trips and ended up paying more than necessary.

should have gps and padlocks and should be able to have vans for longer distances
